1 Connect to a Computer

Note: It is recommended to connect the adapter to a USB 3.0 ([USB 3.0 SS symbol]) port.

Option 1: Directly

2 Install Driver

Follow these steps to install the necessary drivers:

1. Go to "My Computer" or "This PC".
2. Double click the TP-Link CD-ROM drive and run SetupInstall.exe to install the driver.

Notes:

• If the setup program is not found on the CD, please download the latest driver from www.tp-link.com/support.
• If an "Unknown Publisher" security message appears, select "Yes" to continue the installation.
• If Windows User Account Control prompts for administrator credentials, enter the username and password for your Windows administrator account.

3 Join a Wireless Network

Connect to your Wi-Fi network:

1. Click the network icon on the taskbar. This icon may appear in various forms, such as [network status icons].
2. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list, click "Connect", and enter the network password when prompted.
