2. Consignes de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT: Propane is highly flammable. Failure to follow these safety instructions can result in serious injury, property damage, or death.
- Always operate the torch in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
- Keep the torch and propane tank away from flammable materials, structures, and vegetation not intended for burning.

- Perform a leak test with soapy water on all connections before lighting the torch. Bubbles indicate a leak.
- Ensure the propane tank is upright and stable during operation.
- Never point the lit torch at people, animals, or anything other than the intended target.
- Do not leave a lit torch unattended.
- After use, turn off the gas supply at the propane tank valve first, then allow the flame to extinguish before closing the torch's gas control valve.

4. Installation
Follow these steps to set up your propane torch:
- Connect the Propane Tank: Ensure the gas control valve on the torch handle is in the 'OFF' position. Connect the 14 TPI connector on the end of the 10 ft hose to a compatible propane tank (1 lb to 100 lb capacity). Hand-tighten securely.
- Vérifiez les fuites : After connecting, slowly open the propane tank valve. Apply a soapy water solution to all connections. If bubbles appear, close the tank valve immediately and re-tighten the connection. Repeat the leak test until no bubbles are present.
- Positionnement : Place the propane tank in a stable, upright position away from the area you intend to work on. The 10 ft hose provides ample atteindre.

5. Mode d'emploi
Once the torch is set up and leak-tested, you can begin operation:
- Ouvrir la vanne du réservoir de propane : Slowly open the valve on your propane tank to allow gas flow.
- Régler le débit de gaz : Rotate the gas control valve on the torch handle to a low setting. You should hear a faint hiss of gas.
- Ignite the Torch: Point the torch nozzle away from yourself and any flammable objects. Press the automatic igniter button. The torch should light instantly. If it does not light, close the gas control valve, wait a few seconds, and repeat the process.
- Ajuster la flamme : Once lit, slowly open the gas control valve further to increase the flame intensity as needed for your task. The turbo trigger can be pressed for a momentary boost in flame output.
- Application: Direct the flame towards the target area. For weed control, pass the flame over the weeds quickly to heat and char them, causing them to dry out and die. For other applications like snow melting or asphalt work, apply heat as required.
- Fermer: When finished, first close the valve on the propane tank completely. Allow the flame to burn out from the remaining gas in the hose. Once the flame is extinguished, close the gas control valve on the torch handle.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your VEVOR Propane Torch Weed Burner:
- Nettoyage: After the torch has cooled completely, wipe down the exterior with a damp chiffon pour enlever toute saleté ou débris.
- Inspection des tuyaux : Regularly inspect the propane hose for cracks, cuts, abrasions, or any signs of damage. Replace the hose immediately if any damage is found.
- Inspection des buses : Check the large steel nozzle for any obstructions or damage. Ensure it is clear for proper flame output.
- Stockage: Store the torch and hose in a clean, dry place, disconnected from the propane tank. Ensure the propane tank is stored separately in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
7. Dépannage
If you encounter issues with your VEVOR Propane Torch Weed Burner, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Pas de flamme ou flamme faible :
- Assurez-vous que la vanne du réservoir de propane est complètement ouverte.
- Check that the gas control valve on the torch handle is open.
- Vérifiez qu'il y a suffisamment de propane dans le réservoir.
- Inspect the hose and connections for leaks (perform a soapy water test).
- Vérifiez que la buse n'est pas obstruée.
- Igniter Not Working:
- Ensure the igniter button is fully depressed.
- Check for any debris around the igniter tip.
- If the igniter consistently fails, a long lighter or striker can be used to manually ignite the torch while ensuring gas flow is minimal and safety precautions are strictly followed.
- Connections Loosening:
- Ensure all connections are hand-tightened securely before each use. Avoid over-tightening, which can damage threads.
- Regularly check connections during operation for any loosening, especially if the torch is moved frequently.
