This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and keep it for future reference.

It covers disconnecting the battery, removing dashboard trim panels, disconnecting factory components, installing the new head unit with brackets, connecting wiring harnesses, and reassembling the dashboard.

  1. Disconnect Ground Cable: Open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal from the car battery. Use a 10mm socket or pliers if it's a wing nut.
  2. Remove Instrument Side Finisher: Using a trim removal tool, gently pry away the instrument side finisher on the driver's side until it detaches.
  3. Unseat Instrument Lower Panel: Use a trim removal tool to unseat the lower instrument panel on the driver's side.
  4. Remove Center Stack Side Finishers: Carefully pry off the two side finishers located next to the factory radio using a trim removal tool.
  5. Remove Front Air Control Screws: Locate and remove the two Phillips head screws securing the front air control panel.
  6. Remove Front Air Control: Gently pull the front air control panel to detach it.
  7. Disconnect Front Air Control Harness: Disconnect the single wiring harness from the back of the front air control panel.
  8. Remove Cluster Lid (C) Screws: Remove the two Phillips head screws for the cluster lid (C).
  9. Remove Cluster Lid (C): Gently pull the cluster lid (C) to detach it.
  10. Disconnect Cluster Lid (C) Harness: Disconnect the two wiring harnesses from the back of the cluster lid (C). Needle nose pliers may be helpful.
  11. Remove Audio Unit Screws: Remove the four Phillips head screws securing the factory audio unit.
  12. Remove Audio Unit: Gently pull the factory audio unit out of the dashboard.
  13. Disconnect Audio Unit Harness: Disconnect the four wiring harnesses from the back of the factory audio unit.
  14. Install Brackets to Screen Frame: Attach the provided mounting brackets to the new head unit's screen frame using the included screws and screwdriver.
  15. Connect RCA AUX IN: Connect the red and white RCA auxiliary input cables to the corresponding ports on the new head unit.
  16. Connect CAN-BUS Module: Connect the CAN-BUS module to its designated white connector on the main wiring harness.
  17. Connect Reverse Camera Input: Connect the yellow RCA cable for the reverse camera input.
  18. Connecter l'antenne GPS : Screw in the GPS antenna to its port on the head unit.
  19. Install Harness Connections: Connect the remaining seven harness connections (USB, main antenna, steering wheel controls, power) to their specific ports on the new head unit. These are keyed to fit only one way.
  20. Connect Harness to Factory Plugs: Connect the new head unit's main wiring harness to the four factory plugs in the vehicle's dashboard.
  21. Run USB Cables: If desired, feed the two USB cables through a small opening in the dashboard to a convenient location for access.
  22. Attach GPS Antenna to Surface: Remove the adhesive liner from the GPS antenna and stick it to a clean, flat surface behind the radio for optimal signal reception.
  23. Install New Car Stereo: Carefully slide the new head unit into the dashboard opening and push firmly until it snaps securely into place.
  24. Reinstall Cluster Lid (C): Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the cluster lid (C) and snap it back into position.
  25. Reinstall Front Air Control: Reconnect the wiring harness to the front air control panel and snap it back into place, ensuring it aligns correctly.
  26. Install Cluster Lid/Air Control Screws: Reinstall the four Phillips head screws for the cluster lid and front air control.
  27. Install Center Stack Side Finishers: Snap the two center stack side finishers back into place, starting from the top and working your way down.
  28. Reseat Instrument Lower Panel: Push the instrument lower panel back into its original position until it snaps.
  29. Install Instrument Side Finisher: Push the instrument side finisher back into its original position until it snaps.
  30. Reconnect Ground Cable: Reconnect the negative terminal to the car battery and tighten it securely.
  31. Setup CAM-BUS: After powering on the unit, navigate to Settings > Factory. Entrer le mot de passe 3368 and confirm. Then go to Car Model > RZC > Nissan > All > All to configure the CAN-BUS settings.
  32. Tester toutes les fonctions : Verify that all functions, including steering wheel controls, phone, and voice commands, are working correctly.
