Installation

Installation de la batterie

The DTAPE Laser Measure requires 1.5V AAA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device, open it, and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators. Close the compartment securely.

Marche/Arrêt

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the device on or off. The backlit LCD display will illuminate upon activation.

Mesure de distance de base

1. Point the laser aperture towards the target surface.
2. Press the measurement button (often the main central button) once to activate the laser.
3. Press the measurement button again to take a reading. The distance will be displayed on the screen.

Conversion d'unités

To switch between measurement units (m/in/ft/ft+in), long-press the "Unit" button. The current unit will be indicated on the display.

The device allows you to set the measurement reference point from either the front or the back of the device. Press the reference point button (often indicated by an icon showing the device's base) to toggle between these options.

The DTAPE Laser Measure offers 7 measurement modes. Press the mode button (often indicated by a grid or multiple squares icon) to cycle through the available functions:

• Distance: Mesure unique point à point.

Entretien

The DTAPE Laser Measure is designed with an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and splashing water.

• Gardez l'appareil propre en l'essuyant avec un chiffon doux et sec.

• Store the device in its portable bag when not in use to protect it from dust and impacts.

Dépannage

If you encounter issues with your DTAPE Laser Measure, consider the following:

• L'appareil ne s'allume pas : Vérifiez l'installation des piles et assurez-vous qu'elles ne sont pas déchargées. Remplacez-les si nécessaire.
• Lectures inexactes : Ensure the laser aperture is clean and unobstructed. Verify the correct reference point is selected. Measure on a stable, non-reflective surface.
• Laser invisible : In very bright conditions, the laser dot may be difficult to see. Try to shade the target area or use the device in lower light.
