Instructions d'installation

The PAKITE Infrared Transmitter is an accessory for specific PAKITE Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver models. Ensure you have a compatible system before proceeding.

1. Identify the IR OUT Port: Locate the 3.5mm IR OUT port on your PAKITE Wireless HDMI Transmitter unit. This port is specifically designed for connecting the infrared transmitter.
2. Connect the IR Transmitter: Insert the 3.5mm jack of the PAKITE Infrared Transmitter into the IR OUT port on the Wireless HDMI Transmitter. Ensure the connection is secure.
3. Position the IR Emitter: Carefully position the small, blue, teardrop-shaped IR emitter head directly in front of the IR sensor window of the source device you wish to control (e.g., DVD player, cable box, satellite receiver). The IR sensor window is typically a small, dark, translucent area on the front panel of your device. For optimal performance, ensure there is a clear line of sight between the emitter and the device's IR sensor.

• The IR transmitter works by relaying infrared signals from your remote control, which are first picked up by the IR receiver on your PAKITE Wireless HDMI Receiver unit.
• These signals are then transmitted wirelessly to the PAKITE Wireless HDMI Transmitter unit.
• The connected Infrared Transmitter then emits these signals directly to your source device's IR sensor, allowing you to control it as if you were in the same room.
• Ensure the Wireless HDMI system is powered on and functioning correctly for the IR transmitter to operate.

Entretien

The PAKITE Infrared Transmitter requires minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure its longevity:

• Nettoyage: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the IR emitter head and cable if they become dusty. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Manutention: Avoid bending or crimping the cable excessively. Do not pull on the cable to disconnect the transmitter; always grasp the 3.5mm jack.
• Stockage: When not in use, store the transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

If you experience issues with your Infrared Transmitter, consider the following:

• No Response from Source Device:
  • Ensure the IR emitter head is directly aligned with the IR sensor window of your source device. Slight adjustments can make a significant difference.
  • Verify that your PAKITE Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver system is powered on and functioning correctly. The IR signal is relayed through this system.
  • Check that the 3.5mm jack is fully inserted into the IR OUT port on the Wireless HDMI Transmitter.
  • Confirm that your remote control has fresh batteries and is working properly.
• Contrôle intermittent :
  • Obstructions between the IR emitter and the source device's sensor can cause intermittent control. Clear any objects.
  • Strong ambient light (especially direct sunlight) can interfere with IR signals. Try to minimize such interference.
