- For better motion detection performance, please install the camera angularly. Camera installation with tilt angle of 25° downward is suggested.
NOTE:
- If a moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically, the camera may fail to detect motion. The angle of the camera is related to the detection distance.
- The camera will affect the PIR detection range;

Option A:
Charge the battery with a power adapter.(not included in the box, please find a 5V/2A power adapter for camera)

Solar panel installation
- Please select a position with the most sunlight throughout the year for your solar panel. The Foscam solar panel only needs a few hours of direct sunlight to successfully power your camera daily. The amount of energy that the solar panel can produce is affected by weather conditions, seasonal changes, geographic locations, etc.
- Mount the bracket with the mounting template and the screws provided in the package.
- Slot the solar panel into the bracket and make sure it’s secure.
- Loosen the adjusting control on the bracket and adjust the angle of the solar panel to make it receive direct sunlight, and then retighten the adjusting control to secure your setting.

- Use the 5V/2A DC power adapter to charge the battery. The blue light indicates that the battery is charging, while the light is not on, the current battery voltage may be too low to support the blue indicator light and it needs to be charged for a while before the blue light turns on. When the red and blue lights turn on simultaneously, the battery is fully charged.
