FORTIN NX250 Push Button Remote Starters Installation Guide

Ensure that the vehicle is compatible with the system and meets
the firmware version requirement. It is mandatory to install the
hood pin for remote starting functionality. Installation should be
done by a qualified technician to prevent any damage to the
vehicle.

Wiring Connection:

Follow the provided wiring guide for connecting the necessary
components for proper functionality. Make sure to cut the loop for
automatic transmission mode if applicable.

Program Options:

Use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool (sold
separately) to add firmware versions and options to the system.
Program the bypass option as per the vehicle’s requirements.

Remote Starter Option:

For the Comfort Group, program the remote starter to activate
AUX.1 at 5°C, 5 seconds after remote start initiation.

Security Measures:

Ensure that the security sticker is included with the
installation. Parts required but not included are 3X 1 Amp.
Diodes.

FAQ:

Q: Can the OEM remote and SmartKey still be used during remote
start?

A: Yes, the vehicles OEM remote and SmartKey are still operable
during remote start. An RF Kit is required for this
functionality.

Q: What should I do if my vehicle does not have a functional
hood pin?

A: If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin,
set function A11 to OFF and ensure to follow the installation
requirements for proper operation.

Press and hold the programming button: Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector).
The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED,YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes.
