Product Usage Instructions

Get Started

Inserting the Batteries

1. Remove the cover on the front of the wall switch to reveal the battery compartment.
2. Place the batteries in the compartment and click the front cover back on the wall switch.

Motor Pairing

• The remote control needs to be paired with the Forest device before it can be operated.
• To pair the remote control with the Forest motor or LED system, please refer to the user manual of the respective Forest motor or visit the webpage with all manuals and videos.

How to Use

Control the Curtains

1. Press ▲ or ▼ to open or close the curtains on the selected channel.
2. Press ■ to stop the curtains from moving.
3. Press Favourite to move to the favorite position.

Child Lock

1. Press P1 or P2 for 10 seconds.
2. LED flickers once.
3. Repeat the above to delete the child lock.

Set Up Favourites Function

1. Move the curtain to the desired preferred position by pressing ▲ or ▼.
2. Once the curtain is in the desired position, press [2 seconds] and Favourite.
3. The curtain position is now set for the respective channel.
4. Note: Only one favourite position per motor can be saved, regardless of which channel is being used.
5. Press Favourite to move your curtain directly to the desired position.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the Forest EasyTouch® wireless wall switch. With this remote control, you can operate up to 2 Forest devices, like Forest Shuttle®, Forest tubular motors, and Forest LED systems.
In this manual, you will find all the information you need to get the most out of your Forest remote.

GENERAL

Please read this manual and the safety instructions carefully before using this Forest product. Follow the instructions in this manual and keep it throughout the entire lifespan of the product. This manual describes the setup and operation of the EasyTouch® wireless wall switch.
Any use beyond the application scope defined by Forest is not permitted. Ignoring the instructions in this manual voids any liability and warranty from Forest Group.

SUPPORTED PROTOCOLS

The EasyTouch® wireless wall switch is equipped with both the original RF protocol and the new Forest Link® protocol as standard.

OVERVIEW OF THE REMOTE CONTROL

FUNCTIONALITY

This function works only with motors equipped with the Forest Link protocol.

Refer to your motor’s manual for the functions of the program button.

1. INSERTING THE BATTERIES of the wall switch to reveal the battery compartment.
2. Place the batteries in the compartment. And click the front cover back on the wall switch.

How to use

CONTROL THE CURTAINS

1. Press or to open or close the curtains on the selected channel.
2. Press to stop the curtains from moving
3. Press to move to the favorite position

CHILD LOCK:
LOCKS ALL DUAL KEY FUNCTIONS

1. Press P1 or P2 for 10 seconds
2. LED flickers once
3. Repeat the above to delete the child lock

SET UP FAVOURITES FUNCTION
With the Favourites function , you can determine the position to which the curtain should move for each channel. You can set this up as follows:

1. Move the curtain to the desired preferred position by pressing or .
2. By pressing , you can stop the curtain at any desired position.
3. Once the curtain is in the desired position, press [2 seconds]  .
4. The curtain position is now set for the respective channel.
   NOTE: Only one favourite position per motor can be saved, regardless of which channel is being used.
5. Press to move your curtain directly to the desired position.

REMOVE FAVOURITE’S POSITION
If you want to remove the preferred position, move the curtain to the current Favourites position. Then, press [2 seconds] and clear. The Favourites position is now.

Important: The Favourites function can only be set if the end positions are configured. This function only works with Forest motors that are equipped with the Forest Link protocol.

Q: How do I remove a favorite’s position?
A: If you want to remove the preferred position, move the curtain to the current Favourites position. Then, press [2 seconds] and…

How do I know if I need to replace the battery in my remote control?

• Check during use if the operating distance between the motor and the remote control is significantly shorter or if it responds less sensitively. This may indicate that the batteries are almost empty.
• If the batteries are almost empty, an LED light will flash orange when a button is pressed to indicate. Replace the batteries as soon as possible.

My remote control doesn’t work at all.

• Check if the remote control has been paired correctly with the Forest product.
• Check if the batteries are inserted correctly. If the batteries are almost empty, you need to replace them.
• The EasyTouch® remote control only works with Forest devices, such as Forest Shuttle®, Forest tubular motors with internal receiver, and Forest LED systems with RF receiver.

I only have motors with the original protocol, and the response time is slower than I’m used to.

• Switch to the original RF protocol.

Please note that the motors will need to be re-paired with the remote control afterward.
