Operation:

To raise a load:

Pull down firmly and evenly on the handle and observe the load
rising.
As the handle is pulled down, you would hear the Climbing Pin
click into place as it locks into a hole on the Steel Bar.

Relax the handle allowing the climbing pin to take the
load.
Raise the handle to the top of its stroke position.

To put it to rest, simply click the handle back in place with
the holding pin.

Important:

Do not use extensions on the handle.
Always keep a firm hold on the handle.

Before using the FM3-LP, it is important for all users to read and understand the instructions and safety warnings in the manual, as well as the safety labels on the product. DO NOT use the FM3-LP to support or stabilise a load as this may result in unexpected movements that can cause serious injury or death. Always ensure no body parts are directly under a raised load. When using the FM3-LP as a Tree Pusher, stand behind the pusher and tree at all times and ensure it is in line with the felling path. As a Log Lifter, the FM3-LP has a maximum loading capacity of 3 tonnes*. Do not lift more than the maximum load as this may cause serious injuries or death by weakening the tool causing it to bend or snap.

Always keep your head away from the handle of the FM3-LP at all times to avoid unexpected movements. When not in use, clip the handle in the “UP” position. IMPORTANT: It is important to be cautious when lifting and lowering loads with the FM3-LP, as the weight of the load can push up against the handle. If your hand slips off the handle, or if the handle is horizontal when you move the reversing latch, it may move up quickly and unexpectedly. To avoid this, make sure to maintain a secure grip on the handle and ensure it is in the proper position before moving the reversing latch.
NOTICE
When not in use, always support the FM3-LP or lay it on its side to avoid it tipping over as this can potentially cause serious injuries or death.

To ensure proper performance and avoid damage to its parts, the FM3-LP requires proper lubrication before use. Inspect the jack before use and lubricate it when necessary.

CAUTION

· The FM3-LP is not designed to stabilise loads and should never be used to support a raised load. Always ensure that the load is securely spiked and blocked to prevent it from falling.
· It is crucial to clip the handle against the Steel Bar before moving the reversing latch and to keep all body parts clear of the handle’s range of motion to avoid striking danger.
· Never use this FM3-LP on vehicles, as the vehicle could slip off and cause severe injury or death.
· To prevent dropping the load, ensure that the FM3-LP is bearing weight before lowering it step-by-step.
· Proper lubrication is critical for the safe operation of the FM3-LP. Always make sure that all working parts and edges of the Steel Bar are well lubricated, free of rust, and debris.
· Do not use the FM3-LP if any part(s) are missing or broken, damaged, or malfunctioning in any way.
INSTRUCTIONS
· Ensure all working parts and edges of the Steel Bar are well-lubricated, rust-free, and debris-free before using.
· Place the Lifter’s base plate on a level, firm, dry surface with the steel beam bar pointing straight up. To prevent the FM3-LP from sinking into the ground, it’s possible to use a rated plastic or hard wood ring as a jack platform. Lift the reversing latch until it locks in the UP position.
· Grab the handle or the handle socket and raise the lifting mechanism until the nose is just above the halfway line of the diameter the load. Spike the nose of the lifting mechanism securely into the load.
· Grasp the handle firmly with both hands and carefully pump it up and down to raise the load. The load will be raised on each DOWN stroke of the handle.
· Clip the handle in the full upright position when not in use, parallel to the Steel Bar. · To begin lowering the load, move the reversing latch to the down position while the
handle is clipped in the full upright position. · Grasp the handle firmly with both hands. Carefully pump the handle up and down
to begin lowering the load. · The load will be lowered on each UP stroke of the handle. · Use the FM3-LP at the lowest point possible, especially when guiding a tree over, to

RAISING A LOAD
1M. ake sure you have read and understood all safety precautions and instructions. Lift the Reversing lever (10) to its “UP” position and ensure its locked in place. With the indentation in the latch firmly engaged in the notch, jack up the spike nose to be in line at desired point of lift. Insert the spike nose just above the half way line of the diameter of the load (see fig.1) and place the foot of the Lifter beneath the load on ground level. Note: When lifting, rated plastic or hard wood can be used as a platform underneath the base (minimum 30 cm) to prevent the tool from sinking into the ground and reducing the distance the jack has to be raised.

LOWERING A LOAD
Note that the Forest Master Log Lifter requires a minimum load of 50kg (110lbs) to enable step-by-step lowering. If the load is lighter, the lifting spike nose may drop suddenly, posing a safety hazard. To operate the Log Lifter safely, follow these steps: 1. Lift the load slightly off the ground using the Lifter. Ensure the handle is in a fully
upright position, then trip the Reversing Lever (10) into the “DOWN” position. This will disengage the indentation on the latch from the notch on the reversing switch (refer to fig. 2). 2. Keep a firm grip on the handle and pump it as you would when raising a load. This will enable step-by-step lowering of the load. By taking these necessary precautions, you can operate the Forest Master Log Lifter safely and effectively.

GUIDING A LOAD / TREE FELLING
Please follow the safety instructions carefully when using the Tree Push tool during a felling operation. The FM3-LP is a support tool designed to guide the tree whilst being felled (by applying pressure), NOT to push the tree over through force alone. Before starting, identify the tree you want to fell and check the surrounding area to ensure a clear felling path that is free of obstacles and valuable property.
1. Make a small notch in the tree using the tool at the lowest point as a guide. The slit should be just below the top of the teeth of the Tree Pusher, a few centimetres deep, so that the teeth of the tool can be wedged into the tree (refer to Fig. 3 and 4).
2. Stand about 70cm away from the tree, facing the chosen felling path, and place the tree pusher against the tree at the pre-cut notch, at a 15 degree angle from ground level and leaning towards the tree, with the foot of the tool secured on the ground or base. Ensure that the indentation on the latch is engaged and then begin to apply pressure on the handle by gradually stroking up and down, as you would for raising a load until there is tension in the bar.
3. While aligning the jack with the tree, it should not be necessary to jack above the halfway point of the steel beam. If the jack reaches this point, reset and realign the tool to support and guide at maximum capacity without risk of damaging the tool.
4. Once the Tree Pusher becomes tightly wedged against the tree, make sure there are no obstacles between and underneath the tool and the tree before continuing to cut down the tree. Rest assured that the tree will fall in the intended directional path.

Remember to take necessary precautions to avoid accidents during felling operations. Pushing a tree during a felling operation can be very hazardous, so please make sure to familiarize yourself with the safety instructions provided.

PULLING A TREE STUMP
1. Begin by digging around the stump and removing as much soil as possible. Cut any visible roots with a suitable cutting tool.
2. Once you have cleared around the stump and cut the roots, wrap a chain around the base of the stump, ensuring that it is tight and secure.
3. Ensure that the chain is secured to the lifting arm of the jack using a suitable clip through the hole (Fig. 5).
4. Begin pumping the jack handle up and down to raise the stump out of the ground. Pump the handle until the jack reaches half way up the steel beam, then release the jack and reset it in its original position.
5. Repeat the pumping process, gradually increasing the height of the jack each time, until the stump is fully removed from the ground.
Note: It is important to continually adjust the jack to ensure it is pulling from the lowest available point. This is the quickest and safest method. Failure to do so may result in the Steel Bar bending, causing damage to the jack and potentially causing injury.

If you use and maintain your FM3-LP properly, it will give you many years of service. Follow these maintenance instructions carefully to keep your tool in good working condition. NEVER PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON THE FM3-LP WHILE IT IS UNDER LOAD.
CLEANING
If the moving spike or Steel Bar becomes clogged, use air pressure, water pressure, or a stiff brush to clean it. A non-flammable cleaning solvent or degreaser can also be used to clean the tool. Rust should be removed from the tool using a penetrating lubricant or other suitable rust remover.
BINDING
If the climbing pins begin to bind in the holes of the Steel Bar, the tool may not operate safely and effectively. Binding can be caused by rusty climbing pins, dirt, or a worn bar.
To address this, clean and lubricate the lifting mechanism according to the instructions in the lubrication section. Test the jack by lifting without a load. If binding persists, contact customer service for repairs or replacement. If the tool binds while under load, use a lifter with an equal or larger load capacity to safely lower to the ground. After freeing the tool, clean, lubricate, and test it without a load before resuming use.
STORING
1. Place handle in upright position and clip. 2. Raise the reversing latch until it locks in the UP position. 3. Store in the upright clipped position in a dry place, preferably indoors.
INSPECTION
Inspect the FM3-LP for any damage, wear, broken or missing parts, such as climbing pins, and check its functionality before each use. Follow lubrication and storage instructions for optimum performance.
LUBRICATION
It is crucial to lubricate the FM3-LP properly for optimal performance. The lifting mechanism is not self-lubricating, so it is important to inspect it before use and lubricate it as necessary. After cleaning the tool, lubricate it with a light penetrating oil or a silicon or Teflon spray at the designated points on the part list (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 and 22) corresponding to the Steel Bar, Upper Pin, Lower Pin, Reverse Rod, Lower Spring and Upper Spring. REINIGUNG

BINDUNG

Wenn das Klemmen weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst für Reparaturen oder Ersatz. Wenn das Werkzeug unter Last klemmt, verwenden Sie einen Hebel mit gleicher oder größerer Lastkapazität, um es sicher auf den Boden abzusenken. LAGERUNG

SCHMIERUNG

Der Hebemechanismus ist nicht selbstschmierend, daher ist es wichtig, ihn vor Gebrauch zu inspizieren und bei Bedarf zu schmieren. Nach der Reinigung des Werkzeugs schmieren Sie es mit einem leichten eindringenden Öl oder einem Silikon- oder Teflonspray an den vorgesehenen Punkten auf der Teileliste (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 und 22), die der Stahlstange, dem oberen Stift, dem unteren Stift, der Umkehrstange, der unteren Feder und der oberen Feder entsprechen. · Le FM3-LP n’est pas conçu pour stabiliser les charges et ne doit jamais être utilisé pour soutenir une charge élevée. Assurez-vous toujours que la charge est bien fixée pour éviter qu’elle ne tombe.
· Il est crucial de fixer la poignée contre la barre en acier avant de déplacer le loquet de renversement et de garder toutes les parties du corps à l’écart de la trajectoire de la poignée pour éviter tout danger de choc.
· Ne jamais utiliser ce FM3-LP sur des véhicules, car le véhicule pourrait glisser et causer des blessures graves ou mortelles.
· Pour éviter de faire tomber la charge, assurez-vous que le FM3-LP porte le poids avant de l’abaisser progressivement.
· Une lubrification adéquate est essentielle pour le bon fonctionnement du FM3-LP. Assurez-vous toujours que toutes les pièces mobiles et les bords de la barre en acier sont bien lubrifiés, exempts de rouille et de débris.

INSTRUCTIONS
· Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces mobiles et les bords de la barre en acier sont bien lubrifiés, sans rouille ni débris avant utilisation.
· Placez la plaque de base du Lifter sur une surface plane, ferme et sèche avec la poutre en acier pointant vers le haut. Pour éviter que le FM3-LP ne s’enfonce dans le sol, il est possible d’utiliser un anneau en plastique ou en bois dur comme plateforme de cric. Soulevez le loquet de renversement jusqu’à ce qu’il se verrouille en position HAUTE.
· Saisissez la poignée ou la douille de la poignée et soulevez le mécanisme de levage jusqu’à ce que le nez soit juste au-dessus de la moitié du diamètre de la charge. Enfoncez solidement le nez du mécanisme de levage dans la charge.
· Tenez fermement la poignée à deux mains et pompez-la doucement de haut en bas pour soulever la charge. La charge sera soulevée à chaque mouvement vers le BAS de la poignée.
· Fixez la poignée en position verticale complète lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée, parallèle à la barre en acier.
· Pour commencer à abaisser la charge, déplacez le loquet de renversement en position basse tandis que la poignée est fixée en position verticale complète.
· Saisissez fermement la poignée à deux mains. Pompez-la doucement de haut en bas pour commencer à abaisser la charge.
· La charge sera abaissée à chaque mouvement vers le HAUT de la poignée. · Utilisez le FM3-LP au point le plus bas possible, surtout lors de l’abattage d’un arbre, pour

SOULEVER UNE CHARGE
1A.ssurez-vous d’avoir lu et compris toutes les précautions de sécurité et les instructions. Soulevez le levier de marche arrière (10) en position « HAUT » et vérifiez qu’il est bien verrouillé. Avec l’encoche du loquet bien engagée dans la rainure, soulevez le nez à pointe pour aligner le point de levage souhaité. Insérez le nez à pointe juste au-dessus de la ligne médiane du diamètre de la charge (voir fig.1) et placez le pied du levier sous la charge au niveau du sol. Remarque : Lors du levage, du plastique ou du bois dur peut être utilisé comme plateforme sous la base (minimum 30 cm) pour éviter que l’outil ne s’enfonce dans le sol et réduire la distance que le cric doit soulever.

ABAISSER UNE CHARGE
Notez que le lève-bûches Forest Master nécessite une charge minimale de 50 kg (110 lbs) pour permettre un abaissement progressif. Si la charge est plus légère, le nez à pointe peut tomber soudainement, ce qui pose un risque de sécurité.
Pour utiliser le lève-bûches en toute sécurité, suivez ces étapes : 1. Soulevez légèrement la charge du sol en utilisant le levier. Assurez-vous que le manche
est en position bien verticale, puis passez le levier de marche arrière (10) en position « BAS ». Cela désengagera l’encoche du loquet de la rainure sur l’interrupteur de marche arrière (voir fig. 2). 2. Gardez une prise ferme sur le manche et pompez comme vous le feriez pour soulever une charge. Cela permettra d’abaisser progressivement la charge. En prenant ces précautions nécessaires, vous pouvez utiliser le lève-bûches Forest Master de manière sûre et efficace.

GUIDAGE D’UNE CHARGE / ABATTAGE D’ARBRE
Veuillez suivre attentivement les consignes de sécurité lors de l’utilisation de l’outil d’abattage d’arbres. Le FM3-LP est un outil de soutien conçu pour guider l’arbre pendant l’abattage (en appliquant une pression), et NON pour le renverser par la force seule.
Avant de commencer, identifiez l’arbre que vous souhaitez abattre et vérifiez la zone environnante pour vous assurer qu’il n’y a pas d’obstacles ou de biens de valeur sur le chemin de l’abattage.
1. Faites une petite encoche dans l’arbre avec l’outil au point le plus bas pour vous guider. La fente doit être juste en dessous du haut des dents du Poussoir d’Arbre, à quelques centimètres de profondeur, pour que les dents de l’outil puissent être coincées dans l’arbre (voir Fig. 3 et 4).
2. Tenez-vous à environ 70 cm de l’arbre, face au chemin d’abattage choisi, et placez le poussoir d’arbre contre l’arbre à l’encoche pré-taillée, à un angle de 15 degrés par rapport au sol et incliné vers l’arbre, avec le pied de l’outil bien ancré au sol ou à la base. Assurez-vous que l’encoche sur le verrou est engagée, puis commencez à appliquer une pression sur la poignée en effectuant des mouvements de haut en bas, comme pour soulever une charge, jusqu’à ce qu’il y ait une tension dans la barre.
3. Lors de l’alignement du cric avec l’arbre, il ne devrait pas être nécessaire de soulever au-delà du point médian de la poutre en acier. Si le cric atteint ce point, réinitialisez et réalignez l’outil pour soutenir et guider à pleine capacité sans risque d’endommager l’outil.
4. Une fois que le Poussoir d’Arbre est solidement coincé contre l’arbre, assurez-vous qu’il n’y a pas d’obstacles entre et sous l’outil et l’arbre avant de continuer à couper l’arbre. Soyez assuré que l’arbre tombera dans la direction prévue.

EXTRAIRE UNE SOUCHE D’ARBRE
1. Commencez par creuser autour de la souche et enlever autant de terre que possible. Coupez toutes les racines visibles avec un outil de coupe approprié.
2. Une fois que vous avez dégagé autour de la souche et coupé les racines, enroulez une chaîne autour de la base de la souche, en vous assurant qu’elle est bien serrée et sécurisée.
3. Assurez-vous que la chaîne est fixée au bras de levage du cric à l’aide d’un clip approprié à travers le trou (Fig. 5).
4. Commencez à pomper la poignée du cric de haut en bas pour soulever la souche du sol. Pompez la poignée jusqu’à ce que le cric atteigne la moitié de la poutre en acier, puis relâchez le cric et remettez-le dans sa position initiale.
5. Répétez le processus de pompage, en augmentant progressivement la hauteur du cric à chaque fois, jusqu’à ce que la souche soit complètement retirée du sol.
Remarque : Il est important d’ajuster continuellement le cric pour s’assurer qu’il tire depuis le point le plus bas disponible. C’est la méthode la plus rapide et la plus sûre. Ne pas le faire peut entraîner la flexion de la barre d’acier, endommager le cric et potentiellement causer des blessures.

Si vous utilisez et entretenez correctement votre FM3-LP, il vous offrira de nombreuses années de service. Suivez attentivement ces instructions d’entretien pour garder votre outil en bon état de fonctionnement. NE JAMAIS EFFECTUER D’ENTRETIEN SUR LE FM3-LP LORSQU’IL EST SOUS CHARGE.
NETTOYAGE
Si la pointe mobile ou la barre d’acier se bouche, utilisez de l’air comprimé, de l’eau sous pression ou une brosse dure pour la nettoyer. Un solvant de nettoyage non inflammable ou un dégraissant peut également être utilisé pour nettoyer l’outil. La rouille doit être retirée de l’outil à l’aide d’un lubrifiant pénétrant ou d’un autre produit antirouille approprié.
FIXATION
Si les broches d’escalade commencent à se coincer dans les trous de la barre d’acier, l’outil peut ne pas fonctionner en toute sécurité et efficacement. Le coincement peut être causé par des broches rouillées, de la saleté ou une barre usée.
Pour résoudre cela, nettoyez et lubrifiez le mécanisme de levage selon les instructions de la section de lubrification. Testez le cric en soulevant sans charge. Si le coincement persiste, contactez le service client pour des réparations ou un remplacement. Si l’outil se coince alors qu’il est sous charge, utilisez un lève-charge d’une capacité égale ou supérieure pour le descendre en toute sécurité au sol. Après avoir libéré l’outil, nettoyez, lubrifiez et testez-le sans charge avant de reprendre son utilisation.
RANGEMENT
1. Placez la poignée en position verticale et fixez-la. 2. Relevez le loquet de marche arrière jusqu’à ce qu’il se verrouille en position HAUTE. 3. Rangez en position verticale et fixée dans un endroit sec, de préférence à l’intérieur.
INSPECTION
Inspectez le FM3-LP pour tout dommage, usure, pièce cassée ou manquante, comme les broches d’escalade, et vérifiez son fonctionnement avant chaque utilisation. Suivez les instructions de lubrification et de rangement pour une performance optimale.
LUBRIFICATION
Il est crucial de lubrifier correctement le FM3-LP pour une performance optimale. Le mécanisme de levage n’est pas auto-lubrifiant, il est donc important de l’inspecter avant utilisation et de le lubrifier si nécessaire. Après avoir nettoyé l’outil, lubrifiez-le avec une huile pénétrante légère ou un spray à base de silicone ou de Téflon aux points désignés sur la liste des pièces (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 et 22) correspondant à la barre d’acier, à la broche supérieure, à la broche inférieure, à la tige inverse, au ressort inférieur et au ressort supérieur. PRECAUCIÓN

GUIANDO UNA CARGA / TALA DE ÁRBOLES
Por favor, siga cuidadosamente las instrucciones de seguridad al usar la herramienta de empuje durante una operación de tala. El FM3-LP es una herramienta de soporte diseñada para guiar el árbol mientras se tala (aplicando presión), NO para derribar el árbol solo con fuerza. Antes de comenzar, identifique el árbol que desea talar y revise el área circundante para asegurarse de que el camino de tala esté libre de obstáculos y propiedades valiosas.

REMOVER UN TOCÓN

4. Comienza a bombear la manija del gato hacia arriba y hacia abajo para levantar el tocón del suelo. Bombea la manija hasta que el gato alcance la mitad del viga de acero, luego suelta el gato y restablécelo en su posición original.

Si usas y mantienes adecuadamente tu FM3-LP, te dará muchos años de servicio. Sigue estas instrucciones de mantenimiento cuidadosamente para mantener tu herramienta en buen estado. NUNCA REALICES MANTENIMIENTO EN EL FM3-LP MIENTRAS ESTÉ BAJO CARGA.
LIMPIEZA
Si la espiga móvil o la barra de acero se obstruye, utiliza presión de aire, agua o un cepillo rígido para limpiarla. También se puede usar un solvente de limpieza no inflamable o desengrasante. El óxido debe eliminarse de la herramienta usando un lubricante penetrante u otro removedor de óxido adecuado.
FIJACIÓN
Si los pasadores de escalada comienzan a atascarse en los agujeros de la barra de acero, la herramienta puede no funcionar de manera segura y efectiva. El atasco puede ser causado por pasadores de escalada oxidados, suciedad o una barra desgastada.
Para abordar esto, limpia y lubrica el mecanismo de elevación según las instrucciones en la sección de lubricación. Prueba el gato levantando sin carga. Si el problema persiste, contacta al servicio al cliente para reparaciones o reemplazo. Si la herramienta se atasca mientras está bajo carga, usa un levantador con una capacidad de carga igual o mayor para bajarla de manera segura al suelo. Después de liberar la herramienta, límpiala, lubrícala y pruébala sin carga antes de reanudar su uso.
ALMACENAMIENTO
1. Coloca la manija en posición vertical y sujétala. 2. Levanta el pestillo de inversión hasta que se bloquee en la posición ARRIBA. 3. Almacena en la posición vertical sujeta en un lugar seco, preferiblemente en interiores.
INSPECCIÓN
Inspecciona el FM3-LP en busca de daños, desgaste, piezas rotas o faltantes, como pasadores de escalada, y verifica su funcionalidad antes de cada uso. Sigue las instrucciones de lubricación y almacenamiento para un rendimiento óptimo.
LUBRICACIÓN
Es crucial lubricar adecuadamente el FM3-LP para un rendimiento óptimo. El mecanismo de elevación no se lubrica automáticamente, por lo que es importante inspeccionarlo antes de usar y lubricarlo según sea necesario. Después de limpiar la herramienta, lubrícala con un aceite penetrante ligero o un spray de silicona o teflón en los puntos designados en la lista de piezas (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 y 22) que corresponden a la barra de acero, pasador superior, pasador inferior, varilla inversa, resorte inferior y resorte superior. NON utilizzare l’FM3-LP per sostenere o stabilizzare un carico poiché ciò potrebbe provocare movimenti imprevisti che possono causare gravi lesioni o morte. Assicurarsi sempre che nessuna parte del corpo si trovi direttamente sotto un carico sollevato.

Quando si utilizza l’FM3-LP come Spingitronchi, stare sempre dietro lo spingitronchi e l’albero, assicurandosi che sia allineato con il percorso di abbattimento.
Come sollevatore di tronchi, l’FM3-LP ha una capacità di carico massima di 3 tonnellate*. Non sollevare più del carico massimo poiché ciò potrebbe causare gravi lesioni o la rottura dell’attrezzo.

Tenere sempre la testa lontana dal manico dell’FM3-LP per evitare movimenti imprevisti. Quando non in uso, fissare il manico nella posizione “SU”. IMPORTANTE: È fondamentale fare attenzione quando si sollevano e si abbassano i carichi con l’FM3-LP, poiché il peso del carico può spingere verso l’alto il manico. Se la mano scivola dal manico o se il manico è in posizione orizzontale quando si muove la leva di inversione, potrebbe muoversi rapidamente e inaspettatamente. ATTENZIONE

· L’FM3-LP non è progettato per stabilizzare i carichi e non dovrebbe mai essere usato per sostenere un carico sollevato. Assicurati sempre che il carico sia ben fissato per evitare che cada.
· È fondamentale bloccare il manico contro la Barra d’Acciaio prima di muovere la leva di inversione e mantenere tutte le parti del corpo lontane dal raggio d’azione del manico per evitare pericoli.
· Non utilizzare mai questo FM3-LP sui veicoli, poiché il veicolo potrebbe scivolare e causare gravi lesioni o morte.
· Per evitare di far cadere il carico, assicurati che l’FM3-LP stia sostenendo il peso prima di abbassarlo gradualmente.
· Una lubrificazione adeguata è essenziale per l’uso sicuro dell’FM3-LP. Assicurati sempre che tutte le parti operative e i bordi della Barra d’Acciaio siano ben lubrificati, privi di ruggine e detriti.
· Non utilizzare l’FM3-LP se manca qualche parte o se è rotto, danneggiato o malfunzionante in qualsiasi modo.
ISTRUZIONI
· Assicurati che tutte le parti operative e i bordi della Barra d’Acciaio siano ben lubrificati, privi di ruggine e detriti prima dell’uso.
· Posiziona la piastra di base del Sollevatore su una superficie piana, solida e asciutta con la barra d’acciaio rivolta verso l’alto. Per evitare che l’FM3-LP affondi nel terreno, è possibile utilizzare un anello di plastica o legno duro come piattaforma di sollevamento. Solleva la leva di inversione finché non si blocca in posizione ALTA.
· Afferra il manico o la presa del manico e solleva il meccanismo di sollevamento finché il naso non è appena sopra la linea mediana del diametro del carico. Fissa saldamente il naso del meccanismo di sollevamento nel carico.
· Afferra il manico saldamente con entrambe le mani e pompa con attenzione su e giù per sollevare il carico. Il carico verrà sollevato ad ogni colpo VERSO IL BASSO del manico.
· Blocca il manico in posizione completamente verticale quando non in uso, parallelo alla Barra d’Acciaio.
· Per iniziare ad abbassare il carico, muovi la leva di inversione in posizione bassa mentre il manico è bloccato in posizione completamente verticale.
· Afferra il manico saldamente con entrambe le mani. Pompa con attenzione su e giù per iniziare ad abbassare il carico.
· Il carico verrà abbassato ad ogni colpo VERSO L’ALTO del manico. · Utilizza l’FM3-LP al punto più basso possibile, soprattutto quando guidi un albero, per
aumentare la stabilità. · Non sollevare un carico oltre il punto mediano per evitare danni all’attrezzo, lesioni o
morte.

Il Sollevatore di Tronchi Forest Master è uno strumento indispensabile per i professionisti della silvicoltura e i chirurghi degli alberi. L’FM3-LP è in grado di sollevare tronchi tagliati pesanti fino a 3 tonnellate*, con facilità. Inoltre, questo sollevatore può essere utilizzato per sradicare ceppi d’albero, rendendolo uno strumento versatile per una varietà di applicazioni forestali.
Questo strumento a doppia funzione può essere usato anche come spintore di alberi, offrendo sicurezza agli utenti durante le operazioni di abbattimento degli alberi. Abbattere gli alberi può essere pericoloso, come dimostrato da numerosi rapporti sui rischi professionali nel settore forestale. SOLLEVAMENTO DI UN CARICO 1A.ssicurati di aver letto e compreso tutte le precauzioni di sicurezza e le istruzioni. Solleva la leva di inversione (10) nella posizione “SU” e accertati che sia bloccata. Con l’incavo dell’aggancio ben inserito nella tacca, solleva la punta del cric per allinearla al punto desiderato di sollevamento. Inserisci la punta del cric appena sopra la metà del diametro del carico (vedi fig. 1) e posiziona la base del sollevatore sotto il carico a livello del suolo. Nota: Durante il sollevamento, è possibile utilizzare plastica o legno duro come piattaforma sotto la base (minimo 30 cm) per evitare che l’attrezzo affondi nel terreno e ridurre la distanza di sollevamento del cric.

e uniformità e osserva il carico che si solleva. Mentre tiri il manico, sentirai il perno di arrampicata (20) scattare in posizione bloccandosi in un foro sulla barra d’acciaio (2). A questo punto, rilassa il manico permettendo al perno di arrampicata di sostenere il carico. Alza il manico fino alla posizione di fine corsa, per metterlo a riposo semplicemente scatta il manico in posizione con il perno di tenuta.

ABBASSAMENTO DI UN CARICO
Nota che il Sollevatore di Tronchi Forest Master richiede un carico minimo di 50 kg (110 lbs) per consentire l’abbassamento graduale. Se il carico è più leggero, la punta del cric potrebbe cadere improvvisamente, rappresentando un pericolo per la sicurezza.
Per operare il Sollevatore di Tronchi in sicurezza, segui questi passaggi:
1. Solleva leggermente il carico da terra usando il Sollevatore. Assicurati che il manico sia completamente in posizione verticale, poi sposta la leva di inversione (10) nella posizione “GIÙ”. Questo disinnesterà l’incavo dell’aggancio dalla tacca sull’interruttore di inversione (vedi fig. 2).
2. Tieni una presa salda sul manico e pompa come faresti durante il sollevamento di un carico. Questo permetterà l’abbassamento graduale del carico. Prendendo queste precauzioni necessarie, puoi operare il Sollevatore di Tronchi Forest Master in modo sicuro ed efficace.

GUIDARE UN CARICO / ABBATTIMENTO ALBERI
Si prega di seguire attentamente le istruzioni di sicurezza quando si utilizza lo strumento Spingitronchi durante un’operazione di abbattimento. L’FM3-LP è un attrezzo di supporto progettato per guidare l’albero mentre viene abbattuto (applicando pressione), NON per abbattere l’albero solo con la forza. Prima di iniziare, identifica l’albero che vuoi abbattere e controlla l’area circostante per assicurarti che il percorso di abbattimento sia libero da ostacoli e proprietà di valore.
1. Fai un piccolo intaglio nell’albero usando lo strumento nel punto più basso come guida. La fessura dovrebbe essere appena sotto la parte superiore dei denti dello Spingitronchi, profonda pochi centimetri, in modo che i denti dello strumento possano incastrarsi nell’albero (vedi Fig. 3 e 4).
2. Stai a circa 70 cm di distanza dall’albero, di fronte al percorso di abbattimento scelto, e posiziona lo spingitronchi contro l’albero nella tacca pretagliata, con un angolo di 15 gradi rispetto al livello del suolo e inclinato verso l’albero, con il piede dello strumento fissato a terra o alla base. Assicurati che l’incisione sulla chiusura sia ingaggiata e poi inizia ad applicare pressione sulla maniglia muovendola gradualmente su e giù, come faresti per sollevare un carico fino a quando non c’è tensione nella barra.
3. Durante l’allineamento del cric con l’albero, non dovrebbe essere necessario sollevare oltre il punto medio della trave di acciaio. Se il cric raggiunge questo punto, ripristina e riallinea lo strumento per supportare e guidare alla massima capacità senza rischio di danneggiare lo strumento.
4. Una volta che lo Spingitronchi è saldamente incastrato contro l’albero, assicurati che non ci siano ostacoli tra e sotto lo strumento e l’albero prima di continuare a tagliare l’albero. Sii certo che l’albero cadrà nel percorso direzionale previsto.

Ricorda di prendere le precauzioni necessarie per evitare incidenti durante le operazioni di abbattimento. Spingere un albero durante un’operazione di abbattimento può essere molto pericoloso, quindi assicurati di familiarizzare con le istruzioni di sicurezza fornite.

RIMOZIONE DI UN CEPO D’ALBERO
1. Inizia scavando intorno al ceppo e rimuovi quanto più terreno possibile. Taglia le radici visibili con uno strumento adatto.
2. Una volta sgomberata l’area intorno al ceppo e tagliate le radici, avvolgi una catena attorno alla base del ceppo, assicurandoti che sia ben stretta e sicura.
3. Assicurati che la catena sia fissata al braccio di sollevamento del cric utilizzando un fermaglio adatto attraverso il foro (Fig. 5).
4. Inizia a pompare la maniglia del cric su e giù per sollevare il ceppo dal terreno. Pompa la maniglia fino a quando il cric raggiunge la metà della trave d’acciaio, quindi rilascia il cric e riposizionalo nella sua posizione originale.
5. Ripeti il processo di pompaggio, aumentando gradualmente l’altezza del cric ogni volta, fino a quando il ceppo non è completamente rimosso dal terreno.
Nota: È importante regolare continuamente il cric per assicurarsi che stia tirando dal punto più basso disponibile. Questo è il metodo più veloce e sicuro. Non farlo può provocare la flessione della barra d’acciaio, danneggiando il cric e potenzialmente causando lesioni.

Se utilizzi e mantieni correttamente il tuo FM3-LP, ti servirà per molti anni. Segui attentamente queste istruzioni di manutenzione per mantenere il tuo strumento in buone condizioni. NON ESEGUIRE MAI MANUTENZIONE SUL FM3-LP MENTRE È SOTTO CARICO.
PULIZIA
Se il picco mobile o la barra d’acciaio si intasano, usa aria compressa, acqua o una spazzola rigida per pulirli. È possibile utilizzare anche un solvente non infiammabile o un sgrassante per pulire lo strumento. La ruggine deve essere rimossa dallo strumento usando un lubrificante penetrante o un altro rimuovitore di ruggine adatto.
FISSAGGIO
Se i perni di arrampicata iniziano a bloccarsi nei fori della barra d’acciaio, lo strumento potrebbe non funzionare in modo sicuro ed efficace. Il bloccaggio può essere causato da perni arrugginiti, sporco o una barra usurata.
Per risolvere questo problema, pulisci e lubrifica il meccanismo di sollevamento seguendo le istruzioni nella sezione di lubrificazione. Testa il cric sollevando senza carico. Se il bloccaggio persiste, contatta l’assistenza clienti per riparazioni o sostituzioni. Se lo strumento si blocca mentre è sotto carico, utilizza un sollevatore con una capacità di carico uguale o maggiore per abbassarlo in sicurezza a terra. Dopo aver liberato lo strumento, puliscilo, lubrificalo e testalo senza carico prima di riprendere l’uso. CONSERVAZIONE
1. Posiziona la maniglia in posizione verticale e agganciala. 2. Solleva il fermo invertitore fino a quando non si blocca in posizione ALTA. 3. Conserva in posizione verticale agganciata in un luogo asciutto, preferibilmente al chiuso.
ISPEZIONE
Ispeziona l’FM3-LP per eventuali danni, usura, parti rotte o mancanti, come i perni di arrampicata, e controlla la sua funzionalità prima di ogni utilizzo. Segui le istruzioni di lubrificazione e conservazione per prestazioni ottimali.
LUBRIFICAZIONE
È fondamentale lubrificare correttamente l’FM3-LP per prestazioni ottimali. Il meccanismo di sollevamento non è autolubrificante, quindi è importante ispezionarlo prima dell’uso e lubrificarlo se necessario. Dopo aver pulito lo strumento, lubrificalo con un olio penetrante leggero o uno spray al silicone o al Teflon nei punti designati nell’elenco delle parti (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 e 22) corrispondenti alla barra d’acciaio, al perno superiore, al perno inferiore, all’asta inversa, alla molla inferiore e alla molla superiore. · Placera lyftarens basplatta på en plan, fast och torr yta med stålstången pekande rakt upp. För att förhindra att FM3-LP sjunker i marken, kan en klassad plast- eller hårdträ-ring användas som en domkraftsplattform. Lyft backspärren tills den låser sig i UPP-position.
· Ta tag i handtaget eller handtagssockeln och höj lyftmekanismen tills nosen är precis ovanför mittenlinjen av lastens diameter. Säkra nosen på lyftmekanismen ordentligt i lasten.
· Håll handtaget stadigt med båda händerna och pumpa försiktigt upp och ner för att höja lasten. Lasten höjs vid varje NEDÅT rörelse av handtaget.
· Fäst handtaget i helt upprätt läge när det inte används, parallellt med stålstången. · För att börja sänka lasten, flytta backspärren till nedåtposition medan handtaget är
fäst i helt upprätt läge. · Håll handtaget stadigt med båda händerna. Pumpa försiktigt handtaget upp och
ner för att börja sänka lasten. · Lasten sänks vid varje UPPÅT rörelse av handtaget. · Använd FM3-LP så lågt som möjligt, särskilt när du styr ett träd över, för att öka
stabiliteten. · Lyft inte en last över mittenpunkten då detta kan orsaka skada på verktyget,

1S.e till att du har läst och förstått alla säkerhetsåtgärder och instruktioner. Lyft vändspaken (10) till dess ‘UPP’-läge och se till att den är låst. Med låset ordentligt fast i spåret, höj spetsen till önskad lyftpunkt. Sätt in spetsen precis ovanför mitten av lastens diameter (se fig.1) och placera lyftarens fot under lasten på marknivå. Obs: Vid lyftning kan plast eller hårt trä användas som en plattform under basen (minst 30 cm) för att förhindra att verktyget sjunker ner i marken och minskar avståndet som domkraften behöver lyftas.

SÄNKA EN LAST
Notera att Forest Master Log Lifter kräver en minsta last på 50 kg (110 lbs) för att möjliggöra stegvis sänkning. Om lasten är lättare kan lyftspetsen plötsligt falla, vilket utgör en säkerhetsrisk. För att använda Log Lifter säkert, följ dessa steg: 1. Lyft lasten något från marken med hjälp av Lyftaren. Se till att handtaget är helt
upprätt, och sätt sedan vändspaken (10) i ‘NED’-läge. Detta frigör låset från spåret på vändbrytaren (se fig. 2). 2. Håll ett fast grepp om handtaget och pumpa det som när du lyfter en last. Vägledning vid lastning / Trädfällning
Var noga med att följa säkerhetsinstruktionerna när du använder trädfällningsverktyget. FM3-LP är ett stödverktyg som är utformat för att styra trädet under fällning genom att applicera tryck, men inte för att enbart välta trädet med kraft. Innan du börjar, identifiera det träd du vill fälla och kontrollera området runt omkring för att säkerställa att fällningsvägen är fri från hinder och värdefull egendom.
1. Gör ett litet snitt i trädet med verktyget vid den lägsta punkten som en guide. Snittet ska vara precis under toppen av träpressarens tänder, några centimeter djupt, så att verktygets tänder kan kilas in i trädet (se Fig. 3 och 4).
2. Stå cirka 70 cm från trädet, vänd mot den valda fällningsvägen, och placera träpressaren mot trädet vid det förskurna snittet, i en 15 graders vinkel från marknivån och lutande mot trädet, med verktygets fot säkrad på marken eller basen. Se till att indragningen på spärren är inkopplad och börja sedan applicera tryck på handtaget genom att gradvis röra upp och ner, som du skulle göra för att lyfta en last tills det är spänning i stången.
3. När du justerar domkraften med trädet, ska det inte vara nödvändigt att lyfta över stålets halva punkt. Om domkraften når denna punkt, återställ och justera verktyget för att stödja och styra med maximal kapacitet utan risk för att skada verktyget.
4. När träpressaren sitter fast kilad mot trädet, se till att det inte finns några hinder mellan och under verktyget och trädet innan du fortsätter att fälla trädet. Du kan vara säker på att trädet kommer att falla i den avsedda riktningen.

DRAGNING AV TRÄSTUBBE
1. Börja med att gräva runt stubben och ta bort så mycket jord som möjligt. Klipp av synliga rötter med ett lämpligt skärverktyg.
2. När du har rensat runt stubben och klippt rötterna, linda en kedja runt basen av stubben och se till att den är spänd och säker.
3. Se till att kedjan är fastsatt i lyftarmen på domkraften med ett lämpligt klips genom hålet (Fig. 5).
4. Börja pumpa domkrafthandtaget upp och ner för att lyfta stubben ur marken. Pumpa handtaget tills domkraften når halvvägs upp på stålbalken, släpp sedan domkraften och återställ den till ursprungsläget.
5. Upprepa pumpningsprocessen, öka gradvis höjden på domkraften varje gång, tills stubben är helt borta från marken.
Notera: Det är viktigt att kontinuerligt justera domkraften för att säkerställa att den drar från den lägsta möjliga punkten. Detta är det snabbaste och säkraste sättet. Underlåtenhet att göra detta kan resultera i att stången böjs, vilket kan skada domkraften och potentiellt orsaka skada.

Om du använder och underhåller din FM3-LP korrekt, kommer den att ge dig många års tjänst. Följ dessa underhållsinstruktioner noggrant för att hålla ditt verktyg i gott skick. UTFÖR ALDRIG UNDERHÅLL PÅ FM3-LP NÄR DEN ÄR UNDER BELASTNING.
RENGÖRING
Om den rörliga spetsen eller stången blir igensatt, använd lufttryck, vattenstråle eller en stel borste för att rengöra den. Ett icke-brännbart rengöringslösningsmedel eller avfettare kan också användas för att rengöra verktyget. Rost bör avlägsnas från verktyget med hjälp av ett penetrerande smörjmedel eller annan lämplig rostborttagare.
BINDNING
Om klättringsstiften börjar binda i hålen på stången, kanske verktyget inte fungerar säkert och effektivt. Bindning kan orsakas av rostiga klättringsstift, smuts eller en utsliten stång.
För att åtgärda detta, rengör och smörj lyftmekanismen enligt instruktionerna i smörjningsavsnittet. Testa domkraften genom att lyfta utan belastning. Om bindningen kvarstår, kontakta kundtjänst för reparationer eller byte. Om verktyget binder under belastning, använd en lyftare med lika eller större lastkapacitet för att säkert sänka till marken. Efter att ha frigjort verktyget, rengör, smörj och testa det utan belastning innan du återupptar användningen.
FÖRVARING
1. Placera handtaget i upprätt läge och kläm fast. 2. Lyft den omvända spärren tills den låser sig i UPP-läget. 3. Förvara i upprätt klippt läge på en torr plats, helst inomhus.
INSPEKTION
Inspektera FM3-LP för eventuella skador, slitage, brutna eller saknade delar, som klättringsstift, och kontrollera dess funktionalitet före varje användning. Följ smörjoch förvaringsinstruktionerna för bästa prestanda.
SMÖRJNING
Det är viktigt att smörja FM3-LP ordentligt för optimal prestanda. Lyftmekanismen är inte självsmörjande, så det är viktigt att inspektera den före användning och smörja den vid behov. Efter rengöring av verktyget, smörj det med en lätt penetrerande olja eller en silikon- eller teflonspray på de angivna punkterna i delarna (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 och 22) som motsvarar stången, övre stiftet, nedre stiftet, omvänd stav, nedre fjäder och övre fjäder. WAARSCHUWING

Voordat je de FM3-LP gebruikt, is het belangrijk dat alle gebruikers de instructies en veiligheidswaarschuwingen in de handleiding lezen en begrijpen, evenals de veiligheidslabels op het product. Elke gebruiker moet het gereedschap veilig gebruiken en goed onderhouden. Als er vragen zijn, raadpleeg dan de contactgegevens in de handleiding.
GEBRUIK de FM3-LP NIET om een lading te ondersteunen of te stabiliseren, omdat dit onverwachte bewegingen kan veroorzaken die ernstig letsel of de dood tot gevolg kunnen hebben. Zorg er altijd voor dat er geen lichaamsdelen direct onder een opgeheven lading zijn.

Wanneer je de FM3-LP als boomduwer gebruikt, blijf altijd achter de duwer en de boom staan en zorg ervoor dat deze in lijn is met de valrichting. Als houtheffer heeft de FM3-LP een maximale laadcapaciteit van 3 ton*. Til niet meer dan de maximale lading, omdat dit ernstige verwondingen of de dood kan veroorzaken door het gereedschap te verzwakken en te laten buigen of breken.

Houd je hoofd altijd weg van de hendel van de FM3-LP om onverwachte bewegingen te voorkomen. Wanneer niet in gebruik, klip de hendel in de ‘OP’ positie. BELANGRIJK: Wees voorzichtig bij het tillen en laten zakken van lasten met de FM3-LP, omdat het gewicht van de last tegen de hendel kan drukken. Als je hand van de hendel glijdt, of als de hendel horizontaal is wanneer je de omkeerschakelaar beweegt, kan deze snel en onverwacht omhoog gaan. Zorg ervoor dat je een stevige grip op de hendel hebt en dat deze in de juiste positie staat voordat je de omkeerschakelaar verplaatst.
KENNISGEVING
Wanneer niet in gebruik, ondersteun de FM3-LP altijd of leg deze op zijn zij om omkantelen te voorkomen, aangezien dit mogelijk ernstige verwondingen of de dood kan veroorzaken.

Om goede prestaties te garanderen en schade aan onderdelen te voorkomen, heeft de FM3-LP voor gebruik goede smering nodig. Controleer de krik voor gebruik en smeer indien nodig.

VOORZICHTIG

· De FM3-LP is niet ontworpen om ladingen te stabiliseren en mag nooit worden gebruikt om een verhoogde lading te ondersteunen. Zorg er altijd voor dat de lading stevig vastzit en geblokkeerd is om vallen te voorkomen.
· Het is essentieel om de hendel tegen de stalen staaf te klemmen voordat u de omkeerlatch beweegt en om alle lichaamsdelen uit de buurt van de bewegingsruimte van de hendel te houden om verwondingen te voorkomen.
· Gebruik deze FM3-LP nooit op voertuigen, omdat het voertuig eraf kan glijden en ernstig letsel of de dood kan veroorzaken.
· Om te voorkomen dat de lading valt, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de FM3-LP gewicht draagt voordat u deze stap voor stap laat zakken.
· Goede smering is cruciaal voor de veilige werking van de FM3-LP. Zorg er altijd voor dat alle werkende onderdelen en randen van de stalen staaf goed gesmeerd, roestvrij en schoon zijn.
· Gebruik de FM3-LP niet als er onderdelen ontbreken, beschadigd zijn of niet goed werken.
INSTRUCTIES
· Zorg ervoor dat alle werkende onderdelen en randen van de stalen staaf goed gesmeerd, roestvrij en vrij van vuil zijn voordat u deze gebruikt.
· Plaats de basisplaat van de krik op een vlakke, stevige, droge ondergrond met de stalen balk recht omhoog gericht. Om te voorkomen dat de FM3-LP in de grond zakt, kunt u een geschikte plastic of houten ring als krikplatform gebruiken. Til de omkeerlatch op totdat deze in de BOVEN-positie vergrendelt.
· Pak de hendel of de hendelhouder vast en til het hefmechanisme op totdat de neus net boven de helft van de diameter van de lading is. Zet de neus van het hefmechanisme stevig in de lading vast.
· Pak de hendel stevig met beide handen vast en pomp deze voorzichtig op en neer om de lading op te tillen. De lading wordt opgetild bij elke neerwaartse slag van de hendel.
· Klem de hendel in de volledig opgerichte positie wanneer deze niet in gebruik is, parallel aan de stalen staaf.
· Om te beginnen met het laten zakken van de lading, beweegt u de omkeerlatch naar de neerwaartse positie terwijl de hendel in de volledig opgerichte positie is vastgeklemd.
· Pak de hendel stevig met beide handen vast. Pomp de hendel voorzichtig op en neer om te beginnen met het laten zakken van de lading.
· De lading wordt verlaagd bij elke opwaartse slag van de hendel. · Gebruik de FM3-LP op het laagst mogelijke punt, vooral bij het begeleiden van een
vallende boom, om de stabiliteit te vergroten. · Til geen lading op boven het middenpunt van de lading, omdat dit schade aan het
gereedschap, letsel of de dood kan veroorzaken.

De Forest Master Houthijser is een onmisbaar hulpmiddel voor bosbouwprofessionals en boomverzorgers. De FM3-LP kan zware gezaagde stammen tot wel 3 ton* moeiteloos van de grond tillen. Daarnaast kan deze hijser worden gebruikt voor het ontwortelen van boomstronken, waardoor het een veelzijdig gereedschap is voor verschillende bosbouwtoepassingen.
Dit multifunctionele gereedschap kan ook worden gebruikt als een boomduwer, wat de veiligheid voor gebruikers tijdens het vellen van bomen vergroot. Het vellen van bomen kan een gevaarlijke klus zijn, zoals blijkt uit talloze rapporten over beroepsrisico’s in de bosbouwsector. De boomduwer zorgt ervoor dat de boom in de gewenste richting valt, waardoor de werkplek veiliger wordt voor lokale boomverzorgers en klanten die thuis werken. 1Z.org ervoor dat je alle veiligheidsmaatregelen en instructies hebt gelezen en begrepen. Til de Omkeerhendel (10) naar zijn ‘OMHOOG’ positie en zorg ervoor dat deze vergrendeld is. Laat de inkeping in de grendel stevig in de inkeping passen, hef de spitse neus op tot de gewenste hefhoogte. Plaats de spitse neus net boven de helft van de diameter van de lading (zie afb.1) en zet de voet van de Hefboom op de grond onder de lading. Let op: Bij het tillen kan een platform van gerated plastic of hardhout worden gebruikt onder de basis (minimaal 30 cm) om te voorkomen dat het gereedschap in de grond zakt en de afstand verkort die de hefboom moet worden opgetild.

EEN LADING VERLAGEN
Let op dat de Forest Master Houtstamlifter een minimale lading van 50kg (110lbs) vereist voor stapsgewijs verlagen. Als de lading lichter is, kan de spitse hefneus plotseling vallen, wat een veiligheidsrisico vormt. Volg deze stappen om de Houtstamlifter veilig te bedienen: 1. Til de lading iets van de grond met de Lifters. Zorg ervoor dat de hendel in een volledig
rechtopstaande positie staat, en zet dan de Omkeerhendel (10) in de ‘NEERWAARTS’ positie. Dit zal de inkeping op de grendel losmaken van de inkeping op de omkeerschakelaar (zie afb. 2). 2. Houd de hendel stevig vast en pomp zoals bij het heffen van een lading. Dit zorgt voor een stapsgewijs verlagen van de lading. Door deze noodzakelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen, kun je de Forest Master Houtstamlifter veilig en effectief bedienen.

Als je je FM3-LP op de juiste manier gebruikt en onderhoudt, zal deze je vele jaren van dienst zijn. Volg deze onderhoudsinstructies zorgvuldig om je gereedschap in goede staat te houden. VOER NOOIT ONDERHOUD UIT OP DE FM3-LP TERWIJL DEZE ONDER BELASTING STAAT.
REINIGEN
Als de bewegende pin of de stalen staaf verstopt raakt, gebruik dan luchtdruk, waterdruk of een harde borstel om het schoon te maken. Een niet-brandbaar reinigingsmiddel of ontvetter kan ook worden gebruikt om het gereedschap schoon te maken. Roest moet worden verwijderd van het gereedschap met een penetrerende smeermiddel of een ander geschikt roestverwijderingsmiddel.
VASTZETTEN
Als de klimpennen vast beginnen te zitten in de gaten van de stalen staaf, kan het gereedschap mogelijk niet veilig en effectief werken. Vastlopen kan worden veroorzaakt door roestige klimpennen, vuil of een versleten staaf.
Om dit op te lossen, reinig en smeer het hefmechanisme volgens de instructies in de smeersectie. Test de krik door zonder belasting te tillen. Als het vastlopen aanhoudt, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice voor reparaties of vervanging. Als het gereedschap vastloopt terwijl het onder belasting is, gebruik dan een hefmiddel met een gelijk of groter draagvermogen om het veilig naar de grond te laten zakken. Nadat het gereedschap is bevrijd, reinig, smeer en test het zonder belasting voordat je het opnieuw gebruikt.
OPSLAAN
1. Plaats de hendel in de rechtopstaande positie en zet vast. 2. Til de omkeerlatch op totdat deze in de OP-positie vergrendelt. 3. Bewaar in de rechtopstaande vastgezette positie op een droge plaats, bij voorkeur binnenshuis.
INSPECTIE
Controleer de FM3-LP op eventuele schade, slijtage, gebroken of ontbrekende onderdelen, zoals klimpennen, en controleer de functionaliteit vóór elk gebruik. Volg de instructies voor smering en opslag voor optimale prestaties.
SMERING
Het is cruciaal om de FM3-LP op de juiste manier te smeren voor optimale prestaties. Het hefmechanisme is niet zelf-smerend, dus het is belangrijk om het voor gebruik te inspecteren en indien nodig te smeren. Na het schoonmaken van het gereedschap, smeer het in met een licht penetrerende olie of een siliconen- of teflonspray op de aangewezen punten op de onderdelenlijst (2, 12, 17, 20, 21 en 22) die overeenkomen met de stalen staaf, bovenste pin, onderste pin, omkeerstaaf, onderste veer en bovenste veer.
