- The surrounding conditions (including the presence of humidity and dust) should comply with the indications provided with the product (an IP 20 rating or the absence of a specific degree of protection implies that the device carries no particular protection); devices exposed to the wind should be used in compliance with the specifications provided (e.g. permitted wind speed).

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Use only a soft cloth to clean the appliance, dampened with water and soap, or mild cleanser if needed for resistant dirt.

GUARANTEE
Flos SpA guarantees its products to be free of material and manufacturing defects for the specified warranty period (concerning the receipt or invoice) as stipulated in the warranty available at www.flos.com. If a defect occurs during the guarantee period set out, you should report it in writing to the retailer from whom you purchased the product within 2 months from the date when it was detected (in any case within the guarantee period set out).
In the case of guarantee applicability, you should agree to allow the retailer or Flos to examine the defect found, or to return the product to the retailer or Flos, at our discretion. No return shall be accepted without permission in writing from the retailer or the Flos Customer Service department. Failure to observe the above shall be a waiver to the action undertaken.
This guarantee replaces and excludes all other guarantees, given expressly or implicitly, including the saleability or fitness of the product for a particular purpose. In no case shall Flos be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including without restriction damage to other goods and equipment, loss of profit, or compensation for services. Flos S.p.A. Warranty USA/Canada
Flos S.p.A. and/or Flos U.S.A. Incorporated (collectively referred to herein as “Flos”) warrants that its product is free from material defects in materials and workmanship, excluding the specific limitations set forth below. This warranty is for one (1) year from the date of purchase and extends to Flos products purchased from Flos or an authorized retailer.
CLAIMS UNDER THIS WARRANTY
MUST BE MADE IN WRITING WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE APPEARANCE OF A DEFECT AND MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT OR INVOICE.
After reasonable inspection by Flos or an authorized retailer, should a product be deemed defective in materials or workmanship, Flos, at its election, will: (1) replace the defective product with the same model, or a later model of the product or (2) repair the defective product at no cost to the purchaser.
This limited warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from: (i) accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unusual physical stress, alteration, improper operation, maintenance, cleaning, handling, or installation of the product, incorrect electrical current or voltage; (ii) original identification information of the product has been altered, obliterated, or removed; (iii) normal wear and tear; (iv) repairs made by third parties not authorized by Flos; (v) use of materials and/or spare parts that are not compatible with the product; and (vi) product failure caused by factors other than defective workmanship or material. This limited warranty does not apply to any product manufactured by a third party.
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FLOS MAKES NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY OF ITS PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED, NOR DO THEY WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT DOES NOT INFRINGE UPON THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL FLOS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, AND FLOS’S LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
