    Question

How do I set the wheel diameter code for 28-inch wheels and reset the mileage on the FIVE CDC1 LED Display?

    Answer

To set the correct wheel diameter for your 28-inch Italwin Pearl bike on the FIVE CDC1 display, follow these steps:

    • Enter Settings: Press and hold the SET button for 5 seconds to open the bicycle setting interface.
    • Navigate to Wheel Diameter: Press the SET button again until the wheel diameter setting interface is reached.
    • Select Code: Use the + and - buttons to change the value. According to the manual's wheel diameter table (Figure 7), the code for 28-inch wheels is 28 (which corresponds to 2260mm).

Regarding the mileage reset: The manual for the CDC1 display does not explicitly provide a button combination to manually reset the "TRIP" distance. Typically, on many FIVE displays, the trip distance resets automatically when the display is powered off for a certain period or when the battery is fully recharged, but this specific manual only lists "Riding distance indicator" as a feature without a manual reset command. If holding the SET or - button while on the trip screen does not work, the mileage may be managed automatically by the system.

    Question

How do I reset the total odometer on the FIVE CDC1 LED display?

    Answer

Based on the FIVE CDC1 LED Display manual, there are no instructions provided for resetting the Total Distance (ODO). Typically, on e-bike displays, the total odometer is a permanent record of the vehicle's lifetime mileage and cannot be manually reset by the user.

The manual does mention a Riding Distance (TRIP) indicator, which is usually the metric that can be reset for individual trips; however, the specific button combination to clear the TRIP data is not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation. You may try holding the SET or UP/DOWN buttons simultaneously while on the TRIP screen to see if it clears, but please note that the ODO (Total Distance) will remain unchanged.
