FIRECORE FD30 Laser Detector

Quick Setup & Use

• Put the laser level into pulse mode (outdoor).
• Turn on the FD30 receiver.
• When the receiver correctly detects the laser line, the laser indicator shows green and the receiver beeps.
• Interpret alignment signals: if the datum is below the laser line, move up; if the datum is above the laser line, move down; if the datum is in line, the LED indicator is green.
• If you want to turn off the beep, long-press the power button.
• Ensure the laser level and the FD30 sensing window are clean and recheck batteries in both devices (laser level & FD30 receiver).

Warning:
The battery may explode or leak, and as a result, it may cause personal injury and fire. To reduce such risks, please strictly follow all instructions and warnings on the battery label and plug.

Note:
Always keep the battery away from children. If the device is not used within 7 months, remove the battery and place the battery in a safe place.

Operating Instructions

How to use FD30 receiver with a laser level?
Turn on the pulse mode of the laser level, and then turn on the FD30 receiver. When the receiver detects the laser line correctly, the laser indicator will show green and beep. The beep can be turned off by long pressing the power button.

Buzzer Reminders

• A continuous beep tone signals that the laser beam has been detected
• Intermittent beep tones signal – Move Up / Move Down

Precise Optical Signals

• Datum lower than laser line – Move Up
• Datum higher than laser line – Move Down
• When datum is in line with the laser line – The LED indicator light is displayed in green

• LED displays on the front
• LED displays on the back

Built-in Bubble and Holder
The FD30 receiver comes complete with a compatible rod mounting bracket. The built-in bubble level provides an extra measure of leveling accuracy.

Using Tips

• Put the laser level in pulse (outdoor) mode.
• Make sure the laser level and the FD30 receiver windows are clean.
• Recheck the batteries in both devices (Laser level & FD30 receiver).
• Make sure your laser level is of the same frequency as the Firecore FD30 receiver.
• Make sure the laser line is sensed from the front; it cannot be sensed from the back.

Troubleshooting

• No detection / no green indicator: Ensure the laser level is operating in pulse mode and that the receiver window is clean.
• Misalignment guidance (beeps or LED not indicating correctly): Use the correct “move up / move down” interpretation based on whether the datum is below or above the laser line.
• Beep behaviour: A continuous beep means the laser beam has been detected. Intermittent beeps indicate move up / move down. To disable the beep, long-press the power button.
• Receiver cannot sense from the back: Make sure the laser line is sensed from the front; it cannot be sensed from the back.
• Battery-related issues: If the device is not used within 7 months, remove the battery. Also recheck the batteries in both the laser level and the FD30 receiver.
