Method 1: HDMI (ARC) Connection

  1.  Insert the included HDMI (ARC) audio cable into the ARC port of the sound bar;
  2.  and the other end into the TV’s HDMI INPUT (eARC/ARC) or HDMI (ARC) port.
  3.  After connecting the HDMI (ARC) audio cable, the sound bar will automatically switch to ARC mode. If not, use the MODE button on the sound bar or the ARC button on the remote to switch manually to play music from the TV audio. (In ARC mode, if the TV turns off, the HDMI cable will also turn off the sound bar.)
  4. TV Settings: Go to your TV’s “Audio” or “Sound” settings menu, and set the audio output mode to “HDMI ARC” or “External Speaker.” (For detailed instructions, please refer to the TV user guide.)

NOTE:

  1.  Ensure that your TV’s HDMI port supports ARC (Audio Return Channel). If not, use another connection method for the sound bar and TV.
  2. Additional Settings: You may need to turn off the TV’s built-in speakers (or set them to “Auto”) to ensure that the sound is routed through the soundbar.

Method 2: Optical Cable Connection

Note: When using an optical cable, please remove the terminal covers before connecting.

  1.  Insert the included optical cable into the sound bar’s OPTICAL port,
  2. and the other end into the TV’s OPTICAL OUT port.
  3.  To play TV audio, switch the sound bar to OPTICAL mode using the MODE button on the sound bar or the “OPT” button on the remote.
  4. TV Settings: In the TV’s “Audio” or “Sound” settings menu, set the audio output to “Optical” or “Digital Audio Out.” (For detailed instructions, please refer to the TV user guide.)

Note:

  1.  Audio Format: Set the audio format to “PCM” or “Auto” (if available) to ensure compatibility with the soundbar.
  2.  In optical mode: If there’s no sound, try setting the TV audio output to PCM: TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > PCM, or please refer to your TV manual to set the TV audio output to PCM.

Play Audio from AUX Output Devices

  1. Insert the included AUX audio cable into the sound bar’s AUX port,
  2.  and the other end into the AUX port of the audio source device.
  3.  To play AUX Output Devices audio, switch the sound bar to AUX mode using the MODE button on the sound bar or the “AUX” button on the remote.

NOTE:

  1.  If connected a TV, TV Settings: The TV may automatically detect the AUX connection. If not, manually set the audio output in the “Audio” or “Sound” settings to “AUX” or “Headphone Out.”
  2. Volume Adjustment: On some TVs, you may need to adjust the AUX output volume to ensure the audio is appropriately routed to the soundbar.

Playing Music from Bluetooth Devices

Connecting Bluetooth:

  1.  Switch the sound bar to Bluetooth mode using the MODE button on the sound bar or the “BT” button on the remote.
  2. Turn on the audio source device’s Bluetooth.
  3. Find “A90” in the source device’s search list, click to connect.
  4. When you hear “Bluetooth Connect”, the connection is successful.

Disconnecting Bluetooth:

  1. Disconnect Bluetooth directly on the source device.
  2.  When you hear “Bluetooth Disconnect”, the connection is terminated.
  3. Alternatively, switch to another mode to disconnect Bluetooth.

Auto Connect:

If the source device has previously connected to the sound bar, it will automatically reconnect when the sound bar switches to Bluetooth mode.

Playing Music from USB Drive (Not Included)

  1. Insert the USB flash drive (not included) into the sound bar’s USB port.
  2. After inserting the USB flash drive, the sound bar will automatically switch to USB mode (If no MP3 file is detected within 3 seconds, it will switch to the next mode.). If not automatically switch, use the MODE button on the sound bar or the USB button on the remote to switch manually to play music from the USB flash drive

Sound Bar Conncetions

After completing all connections, plug the sound bar’s power plug into an AC outlet.

Mode Switching Instructions

  1. When the sound bar is powerd on for the first time, it will default to Bluetooth mode.
  2. When the sound bar is powerd off, it will automatically save the current audio input mode.
  3. Upon subsequent power-ons, the sound bar will automatically resume the audio input mode used before the last shutdown.
  4. Users can manually switch modes by short pressing the “MODE” button on the sound bar or using the mode buttons on the remote control.

 

Positioning

Positioning the Sound Bar in Front of a TV

Position the sound bar in front of your TV, etc., on a flat surface.

NOTE:
1) When positioning the sound bar in front of your TV, make sure the sound bar does not obstruct the TV’s remote control light sensor, etc
2) The sound bar should be placed at or near ear level.

Hanging the Sound Bar on a Wall

The sound bar can be mounted on a wall using the two brackets provided on the back. For safety, consider hiring a contractor for installation. Fansbe is not responsible for damage, injury, or accidents due to improper mounting.

NOTE:

  1. Install only on a vertical wall.
  2. Avoid mounting on weak materials like mortar or decorative plywood, as they may not hold the screws securely. If the wall isn’t strong enough, reinforce it or choose another location.
  3. Connect cables to external devices before mounting the sound bar.
  4. Secure connection cables to the wall to prevent tripping or pulling, which could cause the unit to fall.
    Regularly check the mounting for stability.
  5. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before installation to avoid electric shock.
  6. Do not place or hang items on the unit.

1. Position the Wall Mount Template
1) The wall mount template must be level.
2) If your TV is wall-mounted, install the sound bar at least 2 inches (5 cm) below the TV.

2. Secure the Wall Mount Template to the Wall
1) When installing the soundbar below the TV, align the center line of the wall-mount template with the TV’s center. Ensure the template is placed at least 2 inches (5cm) below the TV, using the ruler on the template for reference. Secure the template to the wall with tape.
2) If not installing below the TV, place the center line in the center of the installation area.

3. Mark the Wall and Remove the Template
Use a pencil to mark the wall through the template’s markings, then remove the template.

4. Install Wall Mount Hooks
1) Use a drill to create holes at the marked spots.
2) Insert the anchors into the drilled holes.
3) Pass screws through the holes on the wall mount hooks and then screw them into the anchors.
4) Repeat the above steps to secure the second wall mount hook.

5. Mount the Sound bar
Hang the sound bar’s rear brackets onto the wall-mounted hooks.

Positioning the subwoofe

Position the subwoofer in a flat location near the sound bar.

Troubleshooting

  1. No Power
    Check if the power adapter is properly plugged in. Long press the “Power” button. If you hear the “Power on” prompt, the speaker is turned on.
  2. Static Noise
    Static noise typically occurs when the 3.5mm stereo input jack is not fully inserted into the audio device (e.g., a phone with a case obstructing the jack). Ensure the 3.5mm plug is fully inserted.
  3. Bluetooth Not Connecting
    Check if both the connecting device and the speaker are in Bluetooth mode. Short press the “MODE” button and listen for the “Bluetooth Connect” prompt, indicating a successful Bluetooth connection.
  4. AUX Audio Input Connected, but No Sound
    Ensure the speaker is in the audio input mode. Short press the “MODE” button and listen for the “Line in” prompt, indicating a successful mode switch.
  5. No Sound or Noise in Optical Mode
    Ensure the speaker is in optical mode and the playback device (e.g., TV) is set to optical output. Short press the “MODE” button and listen for the “Optical in” prompt, indicating a successful mode switch. If there is noise, check if you are using a high-quality optical cable.
  6. No Sound or Noise in ARC Mode
    Ensure the speaker is in ARC mode and the playback device (e.g., TV) is set to ARC output. Short press the “MODE” button and listen for the “HDMI” prompt, indicating a successful mode switch. If there is noise, check if you are using a high-quality ARC cable.
