EVO-IP 2.0 Quick Start Guide Version 1.0 | June 2025

Connection Diagram
Before setting up the EVO-IP system, please enable settings with your ethernet switch that will allow you get the best performance possible. For information on which ethernet switches are compatible, please visit the product page at www.vanco1.com.

1. Connect the EVOIPTX2 transmitters and EVOIPRX2 receivers to a network switch with a well terminated Cat5e/6 cable. Ensure there is 1 transmitter for every source/input and 1 receiver for every display/output in the system. If using a PoE managed switch, no external power supply is needed.
Vanco recommends a Cat6 cable for 4K applications and one of the compatible ethernet switches on the product page.
2. Connect the VIDEO LAN port of the EVOIPCTL2 controller to the same ethernet switch as the transmitters and receivers. Connect the CONTROL LAN port to an external network, control system, or computer. If the VIDEO LAN port is connected to a PoE managed switch, no external power supply is needed.

3. If no PoE is being used, connect the provided power supplies to the control box, transmitters, and receivers for power.
It may take up to 3 minutes for the devices to successfully and completely boot up.
4. With a computer connected to the CONTROL LAN port or the network associated with the CONTROL LAN port, type evo-ip.local into your browser to access with user interface and setup the system.
