1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the wine opener unit.

4.1 Removing the Foil Seal

Before opening the wine bottle, the foil seal must be removed.

1. Place the foil cutter on top of the wine bottle, gripping it firmly.
2. Squeeze the sides of the foil cutter and rotate it around the bottle neck to cut the foil.
3. Remove the foil cutter and discard the foil.

4.2 Opening the Wine Bottle

With the foil seal removed, you can now open the bottle.

1. Place the electric wine opener vertically on top of the wine bottle, ensuring it is centered over the cork.
2. Hold the bottle firmly with one hand and the opener with the other.
3. Press and hold the 'Down' button. The corkscrew will automatically rotate to penetrate the cork and pull it out of the bottle.
4. The opener will stop automatically once the cork is fully extracted. Lift the opener away from the bottle.

4.3 Askapenaasing the Cork

To release the cork from the opener:

1. Hold the wine opener away from the bottle.
2. Press and hold the 'Up' button. The corkscrew will rotate in the opposite direction, releasing the cork.
3. The cork will detach from the opener.
