ESTONE TECHNOLOGY TempoFlex Steam Shower Control

Introduction

Welcome to your TempoFlex Control.
This product is primarily designed for sauna room control systems, consisting of a TempoFlex control panel and a Dongle. The Dongle connects to the steam generator, while the TempoFlex control panel wirelessly transmits control signals to the Dongle to operate the steam generator.
To ensure the optimal performance of this product, please take the time to read this manual carefully.

Item Component Description
Power Key Power Key In Power-on mode, short-press (1s) the Power button to activate the steam generator, displaying the current temperature (default: 110°F on initial startup). Short-press the Power button again to turn off the steam generator.
User Presets User Presets In Power-on mode, single short-press the User Presets button to switch to Pr1, double short-press the User Presets button to switch to Pr2. While powered on, select Pr1 or Pr2 to set the desired temperature and time, settings are automatically saved after configuration. Short press User Presets button to toggle between Pr1 and Pr2 for real-time monitoring.
Temperature Key Temperature Short-press the Temperature button to enter the temperature setting interface, displaying the currently set temperature value. Short-press again to exit the temperature setting interface. Default temperature display: 110°F. Adjust temperature using the Left/Right keys: Adjustable range: 80°F–120°F (or 80°F–130°F) Increment: ±1°F per press Celsius range: 26.5°C–49°C Increment: ±0.5°C per press
Duration time Duration time Short-press the Duration Time button to enter the steam duration setting interface, displaying the currently set time value. Short-press again to exit the time setting interface. Adjust duration using the Left/Right keys: Setting range: 2–60 minutes Increment: ±2 minutes per press
Chroma Chroma When Chroma is off, Short-press the Chroma button to: Send an ON command to the Dongle Turn on the Chroma light (LED indicator illuminates) Short-press the Chroma button again to: Send an OFF command to the Dongle Cycle through Chroma light colors sequentially Long-press to turn off both Chroma light and LED indicator. For battery longevity, LED indicator remains ON only when the display is active. Chroma light operates independently: Maintains on/off state regardless of steam generator status.
Aroma Aroma When the steam generator is ON and Aroma is OFF, short-press Aroma button: Sends ON command to Dongle Activates Aroma light When Aroma is ON, short-press Aroma button: Sends OFF command to Dongle Deactivates Aroma light Aroma system automatically shuts off when the steam generator stops heating. For battery longevity, LED indicator remains ON only when the display is active.
Left Key Left Key In temperature/time setting mode: Short-press the Left Key to decrease value by the specified step increment; Long-press (2s) the Left Key to rapidly decrease value (continuous at step rate)
Right Key Right Key In temperature/time setting mode: Short-press the Right Key to increase value by the specified step increment; Long-press (2s) the Right Key to rapidly increase value (continuous at step rate)
Note:
CO indicates communication fault between TX module and steam generator.
Err P indicates pairing error between devices.
Prr1 indicates over-temperature warning. Threshold: 125°F–137°F (51.67°C–58.33°C)
Prr2 indicates out-of-range temperature alert: Below 32°F (0°C) or Above 137°F (58.33°C)
Err1 indicates Steam generator power supply error: Voltage <18V AC, green LED on generator board turns OFF.
H2O indicates Low water level alert in steam generator.

Pairing
Initial Pairing:
Power on the TempoFlex to enter pairing mode.
Dongle LED will glow white for 1 minute.
Long-press the User Presets button to start pairing.
Screen displays “P” (pairing in progress).
On success, screen shows “OFF” state.
Press the Power button to activate the steam generator.
Successful pairing confirmation: Dongle’s green LED stays solid ON.
Auto-Reconnection:
After successful pairing between TempoFlex PANEL and Dongle:
If power-cycled (off & on), TempoFlex Panel must automatically reconnect to the Dongle.
Disconnection State:
If TempoFlex PANEL and Dongle lose connection:
Dongle’s green LED remains solid ON (indicates standby for reconnection).
Unpairing Process:
If TempoFlex PANEL and Dongle are paired:
Long-press User Presets, screen shows “P”.
After 1 minute, the pairing is terminated (Dongle disconnects).
Note: Do not power-cycle the Dongle during this process.
Reset Button
User Presets Long-press (5 seconds) the Reset button to force MCU reboot.

Both Chroma and Aroma units feature a LED indicator to display button activation status.

  • Low Battery Alerts:
    • 4V: Displays “LO” (hollow battery icon)
    • 3.2V: Auto-shutdown (safety cutoff)
  • Charging Time: ≤3.5 hours (0% to 100%)
  • Battery Icon Display Rule: Appears when battery level ≤ 2 bars
  • Charging Indicator: Battery icon visible during charging
  • Full Charge Behavior: Battery icon disappears when fully charged
  • Charging Animation: Dynamic display: Cycles from 1st → 5th bar sequentially
Power Management
Sleep Mode Activation:
If the control panel receives no input for 10 seconds while the steam generator is ON: Display turns OFF; Chroma & Aroma LEDs blink alternately (indicates active steam control).
Wake-Up from Sleep Mode:
Press any key for 1 second to wake up control panel, display turns ON

Wireless Communication

Supports US frequency 915MHz and European frequency 868MHz.

Product Care

Temperature & Humidity
General Use – Operating temperature
The recommended range for temperature and the humidity value for the device is as follows:
  • Operation temperature: 0℃ to 60℃ (The battery supports normal charging within temperature range of 0°C to 45°C.)
  • Relative humidity: 0% to 100%
Transportation and Storage
For transportation and storage, the recommended range for temperature and the humidity value for the
device is as follows:
  • Temperature: -20℃ to 65℃
  • Relative humidity: 10% to 90% (no condensation on the device)
Transporting the TempoFlex Device
Disconnect all the cables from the TempoFlex while carrying the device.
When you transport the device for any reason, use the original casing and packaging materials. It is recommended to keep the original packaging materials for the TempoFlex.
If the device needs to be returned to Device Manufacturer for Warranty related issues or repair, it is beneficial that the original packaging or equivalent is used for shipping. Most shipping carriers require at least 2 inches of packing material around the device.

Durability

Water & dust Resistance: IP67
Drop Test: The packaging passes a 1-meter drop test with 10 total impacts (covering 1 corner, 3 edges,
and 6 faces) on a steel plate surface to validate durability per ISTA/ASTM standards.

Safety

The device contains no user serviceable parts. Do not open the case of the TempoFlex. Doing so will void
the product warranty and may expose you to electrical hazards.
Using an antivirus program is strongly recommended. Software other than that which is pre-installed on the TempoFlex is installed at the user’s own risk. External software could cause the TempoFlex to malfunction and might not be covered by the warranty. Any use of the TempoFlex outside the intended use and together with any third-party software or hardware that changes the intended use voids the responsibility of the device manufacturer.

This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s).
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
  1. This device may not cause interference,
  2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement.
The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.

Trouble Shooting

In most cases, restarting your device will cure any problem. If this does not fix the problem, contact your
supplier. Please have your serial number ready. This can be found on the back of your device.
You are recommended to check your device at a year basis for better performance. You may contact us
for assistance.

 Maintenance

Cleaning the device
Before cleaning the device, shut it down and unplug all cables. Use a soft, slightly damp lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings on the device. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, or abrasives to clean the device.
Disposing of the Device
Do not dispose of the device in general household or office waste. Follow your local regulations for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment
