Warning: The information in this guide is subject to change. It does not replace product labels or safety precautions in the user manual. All descriptions are for guidance only.
01 Networking
The networking section illustrates the connection of the inverter, smart meter, battery system, router, and communication modules (WiFi/LAN Kit-20, Wi-Fi Kit, Ezlink3000) to the SEMS Portal and SolarGo app for monitoring and control.
Device Models:
- Inverter: GW15K-ET, GW20K-ET, GW25K-ET, GW29.9K-ET, GW30K-ET
- Battery System: Lynx Home F (G1) and Lynx Home F (G1 Plus+) models (LX F6.6-H, LX F9.8-H, LX F13.1-H, LX F16.4-H)
- Smart Meter: GM3000, GM330
Communication Module Descriptions:
- WiFi/LAN Kit-20 or Wi-Fi Kit: For single inverter connections. Firmware upgrade may be required before switching from Wi-Fi kit to WiFi/LAN Kit-20.
- Ezlink3000: Used in parallel systems and must be connected to the master inverter. Firmware version should be 04 or above.
02 Power On/Off
This section details the power on/off sequence for single inverters and parallel systems. It includes the operation of DC switches, ON-GRID breakers, and battery breakers.
Single Inverter Power On/Off: Involves operating the DC switch, ON-GRID breaker, and battery breaker.
Parallel System Power On/Off: Requires operating DC switches, ON-GRID breakers, battery breakers for the master and slave inverters.
Note: The installation of certain breakers may depend on local laws and regulations.
03 Installations
This section provides step-by-step instructions for installing the inverter, battery system, and smart meter, including grounding, AC and DC connections, and communication module setup.
Inverter Installation Steps:
- Installation: Mounting the inverter.
- PE: Connecting the protective earth.
- PV: Connecting the solar panels (Recommended: PV-CZM-61100).
- Battery: Connecting the battery system (Recommended: YQK-70).
- AC: Connecting the AC power supply.
- COM: Connecting the communication module.
Battery System Installation Steps:
- Installation: Mounting the battery system.
- Ground: Connecting the ground wire.
- Wall: Wall mounting considerations.
- PE: Connecting the protective earth.
- Battery: Connecting the battery cables (Lynx Home F G1 and G1 Plus+).
- COM: Connecting the communication cables.
Smart Meter Installation Steps:
- Installation: Mounting the smart meter (GM3000, GM330).
- PE: Connecting the protective earth.
- Cable Connections: Connecting communication cables (e.g., RS485).
- Power: Connecting the AC power supply via an AC breaker.
- Commissioning: Connecting to the SolarGo APP or SEMS Portal WEB/APP.
04 Wiring Diagram
Detailed wiring diagrams are provided for various configurations:
- ET 15-30kW (single) + Lynx Home F + GM3000 + WiFi/LAN
- ET 15-30kW (parallel connected) + GM3000 + Ezlink3000
- ET 15-30kW (single) + Lynx Home F + GM330 + WiFi/LAN
- ET 15-30kW (parallel connected) + GM330 + Ezlink3000
These diagrams illustrate the connections between the inverter, battery system, smart meter, communication modules, loads (ON-GRID and BACK-UP), and the grid, including cable specifications (e.g., Cu, S=6mm², CAT 5E and higher categories) and lengths (L≤50m).
Battery System Wiring Diagram: Details connections for Lynx Home F (G1) and Lynx Home F (Plus+) with BMS1 and BMS2, including terminal resistors and CAN bus connections.
Table for Battery System Quantity: Provides guidance on the number of battery systems connected to BAT1 and BAT2 for different quantities of battery systems.
05 Equipment Commissioning
This section covers the process of commissioning the system using the SolarGo app and SEMS Portal app.
Quick Settings:
Navigate to Home > Settings > Quick Settings. The installer password is 'goodwe2010'.
Setting the Safety Code:
Allows configuration of safety codes based on region (Europe, Oceania, Asia, Africa, etc.) and voltage protection parameters (OV Stage1/2/3 Trip Value/Time, UV Stage1/2 Trip Value/Time).
Setting Inverter Quantity (Parallel Connections):
Configure the number of inverters in a parallel system.
Setting the Working Mode:
Options include Peakshaving, Self-use Mode, Back-up Mode, and Economic Mode. Each mode has specific settings for SOC, discharge depth, and charging/discharging schedules.
- Self-use Mode: Prioritizes solar power for self-consumption, charges batteries with excess, and uses batteries at night.
- Peakshaving: Reduces peak power demand by discharging the battery when load power exceeds a quota.
- Back-up Mode: Provides power to loads during grid outages.
- Economic Mode: Optimizes energy costs by buying/selling electricity based on time-of-use (TOU) pricing.
- Smart Charging: Utilizes excess PV energy to charge batteries, especially in areas with peak limiting power.
Setting the BAT Connect Mode:
Configure battery connection as Stand-alone, Parallel, Only BAT1 Connect, Only BAT2 Connect, or No Battery. Users can select battery models from the GoodWe Lynx Home F series.
Configuring the Network:
Network settings can be configured via the SolarGo app (Communication Setting > Network Settings) or SEMS Portal app. Options include Wi-Fi and LAN settings, DHCP, and manual IP configuration.
Creating a Power Plant:
Users can create power plants and add equipment via the SEMS Portal app by entering plant information and scanning QR codes or entering serial numbers.
Setting the Advanced Parameters:
Access Advanced Settings for DRED/Remote Shutdown/RCR, Three-phase Unbalanced Output (for phase-separate billing), Power Limit, AFCI Test, Battery Function Settings, Safety Parameters, PV Connect Mode, and PX Curve.
