Baking Tips
· Always place baking tins in the centre of the wire shelf. · Make sure you use bakeware that is oven proof. · Do not place bakeware too close to the rear of the oven wall. · You can influence the degree of browning by changing the temperature setting or by re-positioning the
shelves closer to the top element if it is active. · If a cake collapses after removing it from the oven:
Use less liquid on your next attempt. Consider using a longer baking time or use a slightly lower temperature setting.
Energy Saving
To save energy and to help protect the environment, we recommend these hints: · Preheat the oven only if expressly required by the recipe or guidelines. · Dark baking tins have a higher degree of heat absorption. · In the case of longer baking times, you can switch off the oven 510 minutes before the full baking time and
use the residual heat. This will reduce energy usage. · Use the oven efficiently, by cooking many trays of food at the same time. · Select the correct shelf location for food being cooked. · Do not open the oven door more than necessary.

Pyrolytic Cleaning
Your oven has a Pyrolytic cleaning function to make cleaning your oven easy. This feature will heat your oven to around 450°C, which will turn burnt on food or residue to ash which after the process you can simply wipe the ash away with a damp cloth.
Preparing for Pyrolytic cleaning
The first thing you must do is remove all the shelves, baking pans, shelf supports and meat probe from the inside of your oven. If you leave them inside while using Pyrolytic cleaning they will be damaged and discolour. 1. If you have been using your oven, wait for your oven to fully cool down.
2. Remove the shelves and baking pans.
3. Remove the shelf supports. Hold the shelf support at the front and pull away from the side of the oven. Then the back will slide out from the housing.
The front of the oven may become hot to the touch when pyrolytic cleaning is in progress. Do not touch the oven while cleaning is in progress.
Selecting Pyrolytic cleaning
The cleaning process has a set time of 2 hours, this can’t be changed.
1. After removing all the accessories from inside the oven cavity, touch the FUNCTION control and select PYr.
2. Touch the START/PAUSE control to start the pyrolytic cleaning. The door will automatically lock when the process starts. The oven light will not switch on in this mode.
The door will remain locked even after the process has finished, it will only unlock when the oven has cooled down.

Cleaning Tips
Ensure that the appliance is switched off and isolated before cleaning the oven to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
1. Allow the oven to fully cool before cleaning. Remove the wire shelves, wash them separately in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly.
2. Wash the interior of the oven with hot soapy water and wipe down with a damp cloth. 3. Leave the door open until the interior has dried before replacing the wire shelves. 4. Clean the oven after each use, especially after roasting or grilling, this will prevent spilt or splattered food
debris burning and becoming difficult to remove. 5. Do not use abrasive pads to clean the interior of the oven as this may remove the enamel, which will affect
the efficiency of your oven. 6. Steam cleaners must never be used to clean this oven.
Cleaning the Outside of the Oven
1. You should regularly wipe over the control panel and oven door using a soft cloth and liquid detergent as spilt liquids may damage the finish.
2. Wash enamelled or chrome plated parts of the oven with hot soapy water or non-abrasive detergents. 3. Never use abrasive pads to clean enamelled, chrome or stainless steel surfaces. 4. When using commercially available stainless steel cleaning products, avoid cleaning any lettering or
symbols, as they can become damaged.
Cleaning the Oven Door Glass
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.
Take care when handling parts with glass, knocks, chips, heavy handling and dropping could cause the glass to shatter.

Solution
The appliance does not work.
Faulty fuse. Power cut
Check the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
Check whether the kitchen light or other kitchen appliances are working.
Fan does not work all the time in the mode: “Fan Heating”
After a cooking process a noise can be heard and a air flow in the near of the control panel can be observed.
This is a normal operation due to the best possible heat distribution and best possible performance of the oven.
The cooling fan is still working, to prevent high moisture conditions in the cavity and cool down the oven for your convenience.
No Fault The cooling fan will switch off automatically.
Food is under cooked within the time specified in the recipe.
A temperature different from the recipe is used.
Double check the temperatures.
