EPOMAKER x LEBOG K81 Quick Start Guide
Introduction
The EPOMAKER x LEBOG K81 is a 75% hot-swappable RGB mechanical keyboard with 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, and Type-C connectivity. For assistance, email support@epomaker.com.
Basic Function
- FN + ESC (Hold 3s): Reset the keyboard to factory settings
- FN + Q: Android Mode
- FN + W: Windows Mode
- FN + E: Mac Mode
- FN + R: iOS Mode
- FN + WIN (Windows Mode Only): Win Lock
- FN + U (Windows Mode Only): Print Screen
- FN + I (Windows Mode Only): Scroll Lock
- FN + O (Windows Mode Only): Pause
Light Effects
- FN + BACKSPACE: Turn on/off knob light
- FN + \|: Toggle backlight effects
- FN + TAB: Toggle backlight colors
- FN + ↑: Backlights brightness +
- FN + ↓: Backlights brightness –
- FN + →: Backlights speed +
- FN + ←: Backlights speed –
Knob Functions
Press knob for 3-5s to switch between Gaming Mode and Office Mode.
- Gaming Mode: Knob light keeps breathing
- Short Press Knob: Toggle backlight effects
- Rotate Right: Backlight brightness +
- Rotate Left: Backlight brightness –
- Office Mode: Knob light stays on
- Short Press Knob: Mute
- Rotate Right: Volume +
- Rotate Left: Volume –
Pairing Bluetooth
- Toggle the switch to BT mode. Hold FN+1/2/3# for 3-5 seconds until the key blinks fast in blue. The keyboard is ready to pair.
- Turn on your Bluetooth device and find “K81-BT 3.0/5.0”, then connect. The indicator stops flashing when connected.
- Press FN+1/2/3# to toggle between Bluetooth devices 1/2/3.
Pairing Wireless 2.4GHz
- Toggle the switch to 2.4G mode. Hold FN+~ for 3-5 seconds until the key blinks fast in green. The keyboard is ready to connect.
- Insert the 2.4G dongle to your device. The connection is done when the indicator stops.
Wired Mode
Toggle the switch in the middle and plug in. The 4S key lights in white for 2s, and the connection is done.

FN Key
- Red light blinks: Low battery
- Red light stays on: Charging
- No light: Fully charged
*Note: Charging time takes around 7.5h. Hold FN Key, the corresponding key lights up to show the current mode (Bluetooth 1/2/3 or 2.4G).

EPOMAKER’s warranty covers factory defects affecting functionality. It does not cover normal wear and tear. Defective units may require replacement. The warranty is valid for 1 year when purchased from our website. Items bought from other resellers are not covered.

BASIC FUNCTION
LIOHT EFFECTS
KNOB FUNCTIONS (Presa Knob for 3-158 to switch between Gaming Mode and Office Mode)
PAIRING BLUETOOTH
Toggle the switch to the BT, make sure that the keyboard is under the Bluetooth mode:
- Hold Fn+ 1!/2@/3# for 3-5 seconds till the key blinks fast in blue, the keyboard is ready to pair.
- Turn on your Bluetooth device and find “K81-BT 3.0/5.0”, then connect. When the keyboard is connected to the Bluetooth device, the indicator stops flashing and the connection is done.
- Press Fn+ 1!/2@/3# to toggle between the Bluetooth devices 1/2/3.
PAIRING WIRELESS 2.4GHZ
- Toggle the switch to the 2.4G, the·- key blinks, and the keyboard is under the 2.4G mode.
- Hold Fn+ ·- for 3-5 seconds till the key blinks fast in green, the keyboard is ready to connect.
- Insert the 2.4G dongle to your device. When the indicator stops, the connection is done.
WIRED MODE
Toggle the switch in the middle and plug-in, the 4$ key lights in white for 2s, and the connection is done.

Push Straight Down
Please be gentle. Be sure the pins are aligned with the slots. 
Remove Switches
- Grab your Switch Removal Tool and align the gripping teeth vertically {on the Y-Axis) at the center of the switch, as shown in the example graphic above.
- Grab the switch with the Switch Puller and apply pressure until the switch releases itself from the plate.
- Using firm but gentle force pull the switch away from the keyboard using a vertical motion.
The Switch Puller tool aligns Vertically to the Switch to unclip the plastic securing the switch to the plate.
Install Switches
- Check that all the switch metallic pins are pertectly straight and clean.
- Align the switch vertically to have the Gateron logo facing north. The pins should align themselves to the keyboard PBC.
- Press the switch down until you hear a click. This means your switch clips have attached themselves to the keyboard plate.
- Inspect the switch to ensure it’s properly attached to your keyboard, and test it.
Note: If the key doesn’t work its possible you may have bent one of the switches while installing it. Pull the switch out and repeat the process.
Pins may be damaged beyond repair and need replacement if this process is not done correctly. Never apply excessive force when replacing keycaps or switches. If you cannot remove or install keycaps or switches please contact customer service as soon as possible to avoid damage to the keyboard due to operating errors.

We provide a 1 year warranty for our products when bought from our website (EPOMAKER.com). Your item will not be covered by your 1 year warranty if the inspection shows any sign of modification or changes unsupported by the original product, these include: Changing internal components, Assembling and reassembling the product, Replacing Batteries, etc.
We will ONLY cover the item if it is bought from our official stores. You do not have a warranty with us if you bought the item from another reseller or likewise. Please contact the store that you bought your product from to resolve issues.
