Ubiquiti UniFi Device Bridge Installation Guide

Package Contents

The following components are included in the package:

1x Device Bridge (a)
1x Mounting Bracket (b)
1x Mounting Plate (c)
2x Wall Anchors (d)
2x M3 Screws (e)
1x Power Cable (f)
1x Antenna (g)

Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location

You will need the following tools:

Pencil
Drill with a 5mm (3/16") drill bit
Screwdriver
Hammer

Hold the Mounting Bracket (b) against the wall and mark the screw hole positions with a pencil.

Step 2: Drill Holes and Insert Anchors

Drill holes at the marked positions using the 5mm (3/16") drill bit.

Insert the Wall Anchors (d) into the drilled holes.

Step 3: Attach Mounting Plate

Align the Mounting Plate (c) with the wall anchors.

Insert the M3 Screws (e) through the Mounting Plate (c) and into the wall anchors. Tighten the screws using a screwdriver.

Step 4: Mount the Device Bridge

Align the Device Bridge (a) with the Mounting Plate (c).

Slide the Device Bridge (a) down onto the Mounting Plate (c) until it clicks into place.

Step 5: Connect Power

Connect the Power Cable (f) to the Device Bridge (a).

Step 6: Connect to Network

Connect the other end of the Power Cable (f) to a power source.

The Device Bridge will power on and connect to your network. The indicator lights will show the status.

Step 7: Attach Antenna

Screw the Antenna (g) onto the designated port on the Device Bridge (a).

Step 8: Configure via UniFi App

Download the UniFi application from the App Store or Google Play.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the UniFi app to configure your Device Bridge.

The Device Bridge integrates into a typical UniFi network setup:

Internet ➔ UniFi Cloud Gateway ➔ Switching ➔ UniFi Access Point
