DP-EBDMR-DALI2
DALI-2 Mid-range Presence Detector
OVERVIEW
The DP-EBDMR-DALI2 sensor is fully DALI 2 certified and compatible for use as part of an Encelium X DALI Lighting Control System. The EBDMR sensor has uses a domed faceted lens for an increased detection range and can be programmed as both a presence (PIR) and light sensor. This device should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest edition of the IET wiring regulations.

INSTALLATION
This device is designed to be flush ceiling-mounted.
- Do not site the unit where direct sunlight might enter the sensor.
- Do not site the sensor within 1m of any lighting, forced air heating or ventilation.
- Do not fix the sensor to an unstable or vibrating surface.0.1575 in.
Create cut out
1. Cut a 64mm diameter hole in the ceiling.
Wire stripping
2. Strip the wires as shown opposite. Presence detector does not require ground conductor.
Wire in plugs
Connect to detector 
3. Connect the plug/s to the detector.
Clamp cable 
3. Continue tightening the screws until the clamp bar snaps out and is tightly engaged against the cable. The cable clamp must clamp the outer sheath only.
Install detector
3. Bend the springs up and push detector through hole in ceiling. When fully inserted the springs snap back to hold the device in place.
To avoid injury, take care when bending springs.
