Care & Maintenance
General Care and Maintenance Instructions
- Never expose your stroller to excessive sunlight for long periods of time.
- Always use a raincover when it is snowing or raining.
- Never store your stroller in cold and/or damp places.
- Should the chassis become wet, dry it off promptly. Make sure the vehicle is completely dry before storing.
- If the stroller is used near the ocean or salted roads, spray the chassis with a hose, and dry.
- Be careful during transportation and storage as the surface of the chassis is fragile. Scratches that arise after the sale are not justifiable complaints.
Routine inspection
- Regularly clean the chassis and metal parts of the vehicle, dry off, and lubricate thereafter all joints.
WARNING
- Do not lubricate the telescopic bar. Spokes and rims on all wheels should frequently be washed in hot water and wiped off with a dry cloth. When the pram is used during the winter time, cleaning of the pram should be done at least once a week. Lack of maintenance could cause rust.
- Clean the shafts (clean axles with a cloth).
Air Wheels: ( some models)
- If you need to inflate the tire, use an air pump with an adapter for a car.
- For air pressure see marking on the tyre. Please neglect possible travel direction marks on the tires.
- The tyres are assembled in the factory. Any balancing problems can be easily adjusted by releasing the air setting the tyres correctly on the rim and inflating to the correct pressure.
- With ozone and UV radiation the tyres may have small cracks. It does not affect handling and safety and is not a complaint basis.
Important information leatherette
- Never use disinfectant liquid or Hand Sanitiser gel on the Leatherette handlebar as it may cause permanent stains and damage to the Leatherette surface.
- Make sure Leatherette is kept clean by washing with mild soap and water. Always dry your hands after disinfecting or sanitizing before touching the handlebar.
- Never use Velcro straps (eg changing bags, organizers) on Leatherette handlebars as this can damage the surface.
WARNING
Tires can when in contact with PVC flooring or other plastic materials cause discoloration. Always use wheel protection if the pram/stroller is stored on delicate surfaces.
Check that:
- all chassis locking devices, seat unit and carrycot are functioning properly.
- all rivets, nuts and bolts are firmly tightened and not broken.
- all plastic parts are not cracked or broken.
- the wheel bearings are in a good condition.
- all zips and velcro straps are securely fastened.
- all elastic straps are in good condition.
- the brake works.
- the tyre air pressure is correct (see marking on tyre).
- check regularly for damage to the chassis, carrycot, and seat unit.
PLEASE NOTE
- When in need of servicing with original parts and other technical issues that require a professional evaluation, Always get in touch with the store where you purchased your product.
- The product you have chosen follows the guarantee regulations.
- The parking brake consists of moving parts and requires regular maintenance to function correctly.
- To ensure effective functioning always make sure that the parking brake is well lubricated.
- Immediately remove sand, snow, ice and dirt from any moving part of the braking system.
- Use a silicon or oil-based lubricant to lubricate the brake pedal, wheel axle and brake pins on both sides of the pram brake at least once a month. Also, lubricate the release mechanism on the wheels on a similarly regular basis.
- If you use your Emmaljunga pram/ stroller eg. on sandy beaches or under other dirty and wet conditions make sure to take extra care of the parking brake and maintain the braking system and wheels as detailed above whenever needed.

Iron the exterior fabrics (100 %) polyester and the interior fabrics on gentle heat (110°C on the iron). Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembly. Check all seams, edges and zips. You may apply a material protector on the exterior fabric after washing. Always apply before reassembly.
WARNING
- Do not place the child/children in the stroller for at least 24 hours after applying a material protector. Reassemble after washing.
- Make sure all parts are assembled correctly according to the instructions in this manual.
- If the wheels have been stored in a warm environment (for example a car). Let the wheels cool down a bit before use, to prevent the wheels from deforming and cause a greater wear and tear than normal.

The safety of a product is influenced by the design, material, use, maintenance, weight of the child, terrain and environmental conditions (humidity, salt content, temperature, etc.). We recommend that you adhere to the regular maintenance intervals. Regular maintenance and replacement of wearing parts (no warranty) are a prerequisite for a long service life of the product.

2-YEAR WARRANTY
You have a warranty claim against your contractual partner for this product your contractual partner for 2 years. The warranty period begins with the handover of the product from your Emmaljunga partner/dealer. As proof, please keep the handover protocol signed by you as well as the proof of purchase for the duration of the warranty period; a complaint cannot be processed without these documents.
WARRANTY IN THE EVENT OF A COMPLAINT
The warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects that exist at the time of delivery.
NO WARRANTY IS GIVEN…
No warranty is given for defects or damage to the product for which we are not responsible. This applies in particular to
- natural signs of wear and tear and damage caused by excessive use
- Consequential defects that have arisen because damage/defects have not been taken into account and therefore lead to more difficult repairs.
- Damage caused by unsuitable or improper use (see instructions for use).
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly or commissioning.
- Damage due to negligent handling or lack of maintenance of the purchased item
- Damage caused by improper modifications to the purchased item.
WARRANTY CASE OR NOT?
- Rust: The frame is treated against rust to provide proper basic protection. However, rust spots may occur if maintenance is not carried out. No guarantee is given for this.
- Scratches: Scratches are normal signs of wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty.
- Mould growth: If textile parts have become damp, they must be dried properly to prevent mould growth. No guarantee can be given for mold growth.
- Bleaching of the fabrics: We confirm that the fabrics comply with the applicable standards. Sunlight, perspiration, cleaning agents, abrasion (especially in the grip area) or too frequent washing cannot rule out fading and are therefore not grounds for complaint. Unfortunately, slight differences in colour between individual production batches cannot always be avoided. No guarantee can be given for this.
- Tearing of the seams/press studs/fabric: Please check carefully when purchasing that all fabric parts, seams and press studs are properly sewn and fastened. Any complaints about seams/defective press studs must be reported to your specialist dealer as soon as the fault is discovered.
- Wheels: pushchair wheels are not balanced and may therefore exhibit a slight radial run-out (‘wobble’). Worn wheels are a natural sign of wear. Flat tires on pneumatic wheels can only be caused by external influences, sharp objects or driving with insufficient air pressure. No warranty can be accepted for this.
- For pneumatic tyres: Please note the information on air pressure under different conditions (heat, cold, transport when travelling by air. No warranty can be given for damage caused by excessive air pressure.
- Push handle: Abrasion in the handle area can be caused by friction, cleaning agents, sun cream or other external influences. These are natural signs of wear and tear for which no guarantee can be given. The push handles can be easily replaced. The replacement of wearing parts is subject to a charge.
In snowfall and temperatures around zero with damp, sticky snow, snow may freeze to the wheels and create a snowball effect. This is particularly the case if the vehicle is brought into the cold directly from the heat. This is not a reason for complaint. To prevent water/moisture from freezing to the tires, you can use general wax sprays or anti-freeze wax sprays for skis in such cases.
