SENSI GATEWAY
for Sensi™ Thermostat or Sensi Predict™
1. POWER THE SENSI PREDICT CONFIGURED GATEWAY
- Connect the Gateway power adapter to an outlet near the existing home router.
- Ensure the Gateway powers up; press the power button on the back of the Gateway if necessary.
- When powered, the top power LED indicator on the front of the Gateway will initially show amber. Once fully booted, LED will turn green.
2. CONNECT THE GATEWAY TO THE EXISTING HOME ROUTER
- Connect one end of the provided network cable to an open port on the Gateway.
- Connect the other end of the network cable to any open, numbered LAN port on the existing home router.
- The Gateway is fully booted and broadcasting a signal when the top power LED indicator turns from amber to green.
NOTE: If homeowner has a cable or DSL modem with only one network (LAN) port and no router, then a router must be purchased and installed by the homeowner before installing.
NOTE: If no ports are available on the existing home router, make room by moving a cable from one of the occupied ports on the existing home router to an open, numbered port on the Sensi Gateway.
3. WPS PAIRING OR DIRECT PAIRING CAN BE DONE ONCE GATEWAY IS FULLY BOOTED
- The Gateway will broadcast the Network Name (SSID) of ComfortGuard_xxxxxxw (xxxxxx being the last 6 digits of the MAC ID). Pass phrase found on label on bottom of Gateway if needed.
- For WPS pairing push the “Lock” button located on the lower front of the Gateway.
– Gateway is in pairing mode when the Wi-Fi LED indicator (third LED from the top) starts blinking.
