Storage and Maintenance

7-inch touchscreen
The body of the touchscreen is as compact as 7 inches. It does not require a large space for installation.

Wire-saving design
Only a LAN cable is required between the touchscreen and the I/F unit. The power can be supplied from the HUB (PoE compatible).

Compact I/F unit
The new I/F unit is about one-fourth the size of the current product (IF-6500). It does not require a large space for installation. Monitors, electric screens, projectors, and room lighting can be controlled collectively with EBISS-TPC07 and EBISS-IFBOX. A total AV control system can be realized in university classrooms and corporate conference rooms.

Assembly of the AC adapter

Press and slide the plug into the groove of the AC adapter as shown in the drawing.
※Slide it until it clicks.
When removing the plug from the AC adapter, slide and pull the plug in the opposite direction while pressing the lock button.

Caution
Do not wrap the power cable tightly around the AC adapter while the power cable is connected to the AC adapter. The cable could be damaged (disconnected), or the inside of the cable could be exposed and resulting in an accident.

Preparation and Connection

Power on
Connect the supplied AC adapter and the main unit. Then connect the AC adapter to the wall
outlet. When the power is turned on, the application starts up after the Startup screen, with the [ELMO logo] displayed. Since there is no data to display in the initial state, a message “NO DATA” is displayed.ELMO-EBISS-TPC07-CVAS-PROG-l-ess-fig-11

Caution: Do not turn off the TPC07 or press the Reset switch while the Startup screen with [ELMO logo] is displayed.

Note

  • To turn off the power, disconnect the AC adapter or LAN cable (when a PoE power supply is used).
  • To restart, press the Reset switch on the front of the main unit or disconnect and reconnect the AC adapter or LAN cable (when a PoE power supply is used).

Importing edit data

Note

  • Only a FAT32 format (32 GB or less) USB flash drive can be used.
  • SD card or SDHC card (both 32 GB or less) can be used. An SDXC card (64GB or more) cannot be used.

Note

  • The SynCVAS Designer, a screen editing software, is used for screen editing.
  • Refer to the SynCVAS Designer instruction manual for how to create edit data and how to download data from a computer to a USB flash drive or SD card.
  • The SynCVAS Designer instruction manual is not included with this product. Contact the dealer where you purchased this product for the instruction manual.

Connecting IFBOX and TPC07
Connect the TPC07 and the separately sold IFBOX.

  • When connecting them directly

  • When using a switching hub (non-PoE)

  • When using a switching hub (PoE supported)
    When using a switching hub that supports PoE power supply, the AC adapter is not required for the TPC07.ELMO-EBISS-TPC07-CVAS-PROG-l-ess-fig-16

For the IFBOX, the AC adapter is required.

Note
The default IP address is 192.168.1.99.

  • For details of the system configuration, IP address settings, and brightness settings, contact the dealer where you purchased the product.
  • Use a straight LAN cable for hub connections.

Installation

The TPC07 can be installed or fixed in the following 3 ways. Choose any way according to the usage environment.

  • Installation without fixing to the installation surface

  • Installation by fixing to the installation surface with double-sided tape
    Attach the included double-sided tape to the stand. Then, fix the main unit to the installation surface with the tape.ELMO-EBISS-TPC07-CVAS-PROG-l-ess-fig-18
  • Installation by fixing to the installation surface with screws
    1. Remove the screws with the included hex wrench and remove the stand.
    2. Fix the stand to the installation surface with commercially available screws.
      (* Fixing screws are not included. Use the scews witha nominal diameter of 4. Select the screws according to the material of the installation surface.)

Using VESA-compliant holes(75x75mm)
The stand can be removed by unscrewing the screws with the included hex wrench. Using the VESA-compliant holes of the main unit, a VESA-compliant mounting bracket (commercially available) can be attached.ELMO-EBISS-TPC07-CVAS-PROG-l-ess-fig-20

  • The main unit weighs about 750g. Select the mounting bracket according to the weight and installation condition of the main unit.
  • When selecting the mounting bracket, consider the weight of the power cable and LAN cable to be connected.
  • To attach the bracket, use a M4 screw whose length is 4 to 8 mm longer than the thickness of the bracket.ELMO-EBISS-TPC07-CVAS-PROG-l-ess-fig-21

Caution

  • Select the mounting bracket, paying attention to the position and wiring of the power cable and LAN cable.
  • Pay close attention to the strength of the wall or installation base and the strength of the mounting bracket.

Using the TPC
What you can do with the TPC

  • Screen control is performed based on the information of the content created by the editing software.
  • You can send contact output, RS-232C, or infrared commands to the device via IFBOX.
  • You can send LAN commands or PJLink-compliant commands to the device.
  • The contents stored in the SD card can be imported in conjunction with the insertion detection.
  • You can install the application stored on the SD card with the built-in file management software.
  • You can set the IFBOX using the browser app.
  • For details on screen control, refer to the SynCVAS Designer instruction manual.

How to update tpc application

Press the “ERASE EVERYTHING” to start. Do not disconnect the power until the startup is completed, as erasing will be executed after restarting.

Troubleshooting

Symptom, possible cause, and remedy
Check the following items. If any abnormality is found, consult the dealer from whom you purchased this product or our nearest branch/office.

About long-term usage of the product
Due to the lifetime of its parts, if this product is used for longer than the warranty period, its performance and quality may deteriorate. In this case, we will replace the parts for a charge.  Consult the dealer from whom you purchased this product or our nearest branch/office.
