Snowmelt is an elastic heating cable mat consisting of a heating cable secured to rubber bands. By stretching the mat out, the c/c distance is increased and thus the effect is reduced. This unique design reduces the installation time by about 75% compared to conventional mounting on straps. The heating cable has a built-in dual conductor cable, which means there is only one end to connect. The heating cable mat is placed in a sand bed under asphalt or paving. It can also be embedded in concrete. The mat should be laid at least 30 mm deep.
