Product Usage Instructions

Installation Preparation

1. Open the package and confirm all parts are included.
2. Parts included: Hole Drilling Template, Outdoor Pad, Steel Back-Plate, Screws, Indoor Pad, Strike, Keys.
3. Insert M5*28 screws into the back plate and tighten.
4. Attach the outdoor pad using M4*22 screws.
5. Fix the indoor pad with M5*38 mounting screws.

Unique Buttons

• DEAD – BUTTON: Acts as a child safety switch and deadbolt disable switch.
• ANTI MISLOCK BUTTON: Prevents accidental lockouts by disabling the outside pad.

Lock Operation

1. Ensure the deadbolt is unlocked.
2. Place the indoor pad over the back plate and align it with the outdoor pad tailpiece.
3. Operate lock from both inside and outside to test smooth operation.

To Prepare for Installation

1. Open the package. Check and confirm all parts listed/pictured below are included in the package. If not, please contact Alsecure for replacements. Hole Drilling Template (1), Outdoor Pad (1), Steel Back-Plate (1), Screws (14), Indoor Pad (1), Strike (1), Keys (4)
2. Notice: Only a Philips Head SCREWDRIVER is required for the installation if the door has a pre-drilled lock/door handle hole. The tools listed below may also be needed if it is an entirely new door without a pre-drilled hole:
   • TEMPLATE—included in the package.
   • TOOLS—not included in the package that may be required: marker, hammer, center punch, hammerer, electric drill, pliers or hacksaw, masking tape fil， etc.
3. AIsecure lock fits door thickness: 38mm – 50.8mm(picture 1).
4. Check and confirm the backset of the lock fits your present lock (picture 2).

Installation of Outdoor Pad—with keyhole

1. Find the Outdoor Pad—with the keyhole (picture3).
2. Insert the Outdoor Pad into the door from the exterior. Position the arrow mark and the keyhole, so perpendicular to the floor. Hold the cylinder in place(picture 4).

Installation of the Indoor Pad–without keyhole

1. Steel back-plate installation: Position the steel back-plate on the inside of the door(picture 5).
2. Insert the connecting M5*28 screws into the holes above and below the large center hole of the back plate and tighten them. (picture6) Next, insert four screws into the corner of the back plate and thread them into the holes in the back of the outdoor pad. Then using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten all four M4*22 screws(picture7).
3. Make sure the deadbolt is in the unlocked position(picture 8). Next, place the indoor pad over the back plate on the inside of the door. Make sure the tailpiece of the outdoor pad goes into the hole
   on the back of the indoor pad(picture 9). Then holding the lock in place, operate the lock from both the inside and outside to ensure smooth operation(picture10).Notice: If the bolt doesn’t work normally, please follow the steps pictured below to correct it(picture 11). Remove the indoor pad (picture12) and rotate the tailpiece of the outdoor pad horizontally 180 degrees(picture13). Then install the indoor pad again and test. If this does not help, please contact Secure for replacements (picture 14).
4. Fix the indoor pad with M5*38 mounting screws and tighten the screw with a Phillips head screwdriver(picture 15).

Installation of the Strike

1. Ensure the deadbolt is in the unlocked position 166) and set the lock strike in place, then set the lock in the locked position.
   (picture17-18).
2. Put the lock strike on the door to locate the position, and ensure there is no interference between the bolt and the strike when operating the lock. Open the land teakettle away, then dig out the groove with a marker that can fit the strike(picture19-20).
3. Place the strike over the holes in the groove. Operate the lock again to ensure the bolt and strike are aligned. Attach the strike to the frame using the supplied M4*16 screws and a Phillips head screwdriver(picture 21).

About the 2 Unique Buttons:

• DEAD – BUTTON : (Located on the inside pad) Works as both a child safety switcand h, safe-guarding against a small child accidentally locking their parents outside. Also, a one-step deadbolt disable switch. Pushing the inside pad switch inward, toward the bolt mechanism disables both the inside and outside pad in either the locked or unlocked bolt position, and also disabling the key function.
• ANTI MISLOCK BUTTON: (Located on the outside pad) Pushing the outside pad switch inward, toward the the bolt mechanism, disables the outside pad, preventing you from locking yourself outside the door by an accidental twist.
