1. Introduction:
Maximize the sound in your Polaris Slingshot with the Front Kick
Panel Pods by DS18. Each pair allows mounting of one 6.5″ speaker
and one 3.8″ Bullet Tweeter on each side, designed to match the
factory look of the Slingshot.
2. Features:
– Easy to install using factory bolts
– Requires an aftermarket amplifier with speaker wires routed to

3. Installation Steps:
- Assemble brackets D, DD, and DDD to the driver’s side kick pod
using M6 Washers and M6 Screws per bracket. - Repeat the assembly for the passenger’s side using brackets P,
PP, PPP. - Temporarily remove the factory glovebox for installing the
passenger kick pod. - Place the passenger kick pod into the vehicle and secure it
using M6 Thread Rolling Screws and washers.
4. Finalizing Installation:
Tighten all brackets and screws to ensure a secure fit. Follow
the detailed instructions provided in the manual for each step.

INTRODUCTION
Maximize the sound in your Polaris Slingshot with these upgraded Front Kick Panel Pods by DS18! These pods come in pairs and allow you to mount one 6.5″ speaker and one 3.8″ Bullet Tweeter on each side of your Slingshot. They match the factory look of the Polaris Slingshot and are very easy to install using factory bolts that fit perfectly.

BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION, READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

This kit requires an aftermarket amplifier with the speaker wires routed to this location. After completing this step, proceed to install the speakers. Connect the speakers using the previously installed speaker wires, and in the same process, attach the tweeters. Additionally, incorporate a bass blocker filter for the tweeters. If RGB LED speakers are being used, refer to the RGB LED module’s manual for proper connection.
Secure the speakers using stainless steel screws and tighten them. Be careful not to over-tighten, as the hole may be damaged and not properly secure the speakers.
INSTALLATION / INSTALACIÓN: Remove the factory speaker enclosures using a T40 TORX socket to extract the three screws securing each enclosure. Disconnect the factory connector and remove the speaker enclosure. If your vehicle did not come with a factory speaker, you will need to remove one T40 TORX screw on both the driver and passenger sides. These screws secure the factory plastic side panel to a bracket welded to the chassis tube. (Picture 1)

Begin by assembling brackets D, DD, and DDD to the driver’s side kick pod using (2) M6 Washers and (2) M6 Screws per bracket. Bracket DD should remain loosely hand-tightened during this step. Fully tighten brackets D and DDD. Repeat this procedure for the passenger’s side. Repeat this procedure for the passenger’s side kick pod using the brackets marked P, PP, PPP. (Picture 2)

Installing the passenger kick pod will require the temporary removal of the factory glovebox. Open the glovebox door and release the tabs that are located at the back of the compartment. Lift and remove the glovebox. (Picture 3)

Place the passenger kick pod into the vehicle, pushing it as far forward as possible. This will allow you to angle in the rear of the kick pod so that bracket “P” can rest between the factory metal bracket and the plastic side panel. (Picture 4)

Once the bracket is resting between both surfaces, tilt the front of the kick pod into position. Next, tighten the brackets to the vehicle using (3) M6 Thread Rolling Screws and (3) M6 washers.

6. Reinstall the glovebox. 7. Before installing the driver’s side kick pod, start by tilting the steering wheel to its highest position. 8. Repeat steps 1-5 to install the driver’s side kick speaker pod. 9. After completing this step, proceed to install the speakers. Connect the speakers using the previously installed speaker wires and, in the same process, attach the tweeters. Additionally, incorporate a bass blocker filter for the tweeters. If RGB LED speakers are being used, refer to the RGB LED module’s manual for proper instructions.
