DASH STAT Series
The DASH centrifuges in this series are designed for quick spins. Follow these steps to use them effectively:

Load the samples evenly in the rotor.
Close the lid securely.

Select the desired speed and time settings.
Start the centrifuge.

After the cycle is complete, carefully remove the samples.
Load the samples evenly in the rotor.

Securely close the lid.

Blood Banking
When using the SERO 12 for blood banking purposes, adhere to these instructions:

OVERVIEW

The Model 614B is our most affordable fixed-angle centrifuge. With a single g-force setting of 1,100 xg and time controlled by a mechanical dial, the 614B offers affordability and runtime flexibility.

APPLICATIONS

The Model 614B is a centrifuge designed for chemistry and coagulation. With its compact size, the 614B is ideal for doctor’s offices, small clinics, laboratories, and where the specimens are analyzed on site.

FIXED-ANGLE VS HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGATION
Fixed-angle centrifuges, although less expensive, produce gel layers that may be susceptible to rupture during transport. These damaged samples cannot be used without an additional centrifugation step; yet the CLSI recommends against
re-centrifugation for its known negative effects on analytical results. For better gel layer formation, please consider horizontal centrifugation with the Model 642E.
