Thanks for your purchase of the Echo HD! This Quick Start manual will guide you to get started with the Echo HD and DND HD APP related functions. Follow the instructions below to complete your experience of the Echo HD.
Download DND HD App and Login
- Scan the QR code or Search for “DND HD” in the App Store or Google Play. The DND HD App is FREE to download.
- Open the APP and login to your DND HD account. (If you do not have an account, please register with your email).
Insert the Echo HD into the vehicle’s OBD port
Turn the ignition to the “ON” position
Bluetooth Connection
Connect and binding device
To establish a Bluetooth connection with the device, you can click on the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner on the homepage. Once the connection is successful, you can see that the device’s LED light turns blue.
Your Echo HD is now ready for use

Q: What should I do if the connection between Echo HD and my phone fails?
- Check if the Bluetooth on the phone is turned on.
- Check that the vehicle’s ignition key has been turned on.
- Check if the Echo HD indicator light is on and there is a beep sound when inserting into the OBD port.
- Try unplugging and closing the App, reinserting it, and then running the app to try connecting
- Check if the vehicle’s system module is defective.
- If the above operation still fails to connect, please contact us for assistance support@obd.ai we will provide you with assistance as soon as possible.
Q: Does Echo HD need firmware upgrade?
A: Yes, it does. When Echo HD is connected via Bluetooth to your phone, you can go to My Device to update firmware.

- Do not drop, puncture, insert foreign objects or place heavy objects on the equipment from high place, as vulnerable components inside may be damaged.
- The equipment is a sealed device without user repairable components inside. Repairs must be carried out by authorized repair agencies or authorized technicians. Attempting to disassemble or modify the equipment will be out of the warranty.
- Avoid wetting the equipment and do not immerse it in water or place it in a location that may absorb moisture or other liquids.
