DMOS Universal Mount 

INSTRUCTIONS

Works with any long-handled tool or axe with a handle diameter of 1 – 2″

CONTENTS

The mount comes with: 

• 4 each of .25”-20 x 1.75” hex bolts
• 8 each of .25” flat washers
• 4 each of .25”-20 nylon locking hex nuts
• 2 – 5.25” x 1.25” backing plates

INSTALLATION

1. Loosen knob and swing clamp away from DMOS logo.
2. Remove cork shipping pads before use. Raise lid.
3. Place your mount on your roof rack, metal MOLLE panel, or spare tire mount.
4. Using the pre-drilled slots on the mount, determine attachment points on any bar or rack up to 2” diameter.
5. Insert a hex bolt and flat washer through selected pre-drilled slot, then through the rack. Secure mount with backing plate (if using), flat washer and locking hex hut. Leave locking hex nuts loose until all bolts are positioned.
6. Repeat with remaining hex bolts until mount is in desired position and secured. Fully tighten all locking hex nuts.

SECURING YOUR SHOVEL OR AXE IN THE MOUNT

1. Place the shovel or axe handle in the cradle.
2. Close the lid and swing the clamp up into the lid slot and tighten the knob to secure.
3. For added security, use the padlock tabs with a lock of your choice.
