DKV BOX FLEX Instructions

WARNING:
The On-Board Unit (OBU) must only be installed in the designated vehicle, as its license plate number and vehicle specifications are tailored specifically for that vehicle. It should be placed in a visible location and installed according to the guidelines provided in this manual. The unit must remain fitted in the vehicle and connected to a power source:
- a) For a minimum of 10 minutes prior to entering the toll-required network to ensure it receives the latest updates.
- b) Continuously while traveling on the toll-required network, including when the vehicle is parked within the network or in a nearby rest area.
- c) To avoid that your OBU is disconnected from a power supply, tolltickets has developed a docking station. Please carefully follow the installation steps below to avoid any damage of the docking station. Be aware that once the small Cable Clip (2) is fixed, it is very difficult to remove it to reinstall the docking station.

OBU Power Connection
Linking to the cigarette lighter socket

Attach the provided charging cable to the cigarette lighter socket, ensuring that:
- > The plug is firmly secured.
- > The charging cable is positioned in a manner that does not obstruct the driver’s view or movement.
Fixed Power Connection

- Use the cigarette lighter cable supplied. Make sure the cable is long enough, then remove the lighter plug and any excess cable.
- Locate the connection points in the vehicle using the diagram 2. The black wire should be connected to the vehicle ignition.
- Before connecting the cables to the vehicle, install a fiveamp fuse in series with the power wires (red and black wires). If the vehicle’s power supply is already fused, this step is not necessary.
- Finally, connect each wire to the connection points you have identified (battery, ignition and earth).
