Product Profile
Overview
USB-C Port
It supports connecting USB 3.0 devices (such as docking stations and USB drives), but does not support connecting a computer directly.
- Use USB PD chargers to power the device via this port, such as the DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter or DJI 65W Portable Charger.
- When the port is not in use, make sure to cover it and tighten the thumb screw.
Reset Button
Press and hold for 10 seconds to restore factory settings, which will erase installed applications and all data.
LED Indicator

For connecting compatible aircraft only.

Installing
Follow the diagram for installation and connection. The device can only connect to the aircraft’s E1/E2/E3 ports. It is recommended to connect to the E3 port.
Usage
Firmware Update
- Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, then connect the aircraft to a computer.
- Make sure the computer is connected to the internet and the DJI device is powered on.
- Launch DJI Assistant 2 and log in with a DJI account.
- Select the device and click Firmware Upgrade on the left side.
- Select the firmware version and click to update. The firmware will be downloaded and updated automatically.
- A prompt appears when the update is successful.
- Users can also download the firmware package from the DJI official website for an offline update. Launch DJI Assistant 2 and click Offline Update. Select the device and the firmware package, then tap Start Update.
- The update will take a while. Wait patiently until it finishes.
Manifold Application
Developers can create Manifold 3 application based on DJI PSDK, and users can install and use the application via DJI Pilot 2. Visit https://developer.dji.com/payload-sdk for development information and guidelines.
Visit https://enterprise.dji.com/ecosystem to search for and obtain application software that meets your requirements.
Install the Application
- Copy the installation package with the .dpk extension to the remote controller’s built-in storage or an external microSD card. Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, and power on the remote controller and aircraft. Ensure the remote controller is connected to the internet.
- Launch DJI Pilot 2, and tap Manifold 3 > Application Management.
- Tap the “+” in the upper right corner, and select the installation package file for installation. Successfully installed applications will be displayed on the Application Management page.
- To uninstall, enter Application Management page, then select the application and tap More > Application Uninstallation.
- To upgrade, follow the steps above to install the upgraded installation package.
Run the Application
Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft. Launch DJI Pilot 2 and tap Enter Camera View on the home page.
The interface may vary depending on the payload installed. Please refer to the actual interface.
- After entering the camera view, tap … on the left side to view the installed applications.
- Tap the icon of the desired application to launch it. Users can view the operation effects in the camera view.
- Using multiple applications simultaneously is not supported. To switch to another application, tap the icon of the running application to close it first.
- Press and hold the application icon, then drag it to the function bar to pin it in the camera view for easy access.
Export Application Files
Using DJI Pilot 2
- Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, then connect the USB drive or hard drive to Manifold 3’s USB-C port.
- Launch DJI Pilot 2 and enter the Application Management page, then select the desired application and tap File Export. The data files will be saved to the USB drive or hard drive.
Using DJI Assistant 2
- Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, then connect the aircraft to a computer.
- Launch DJI Assistant 2, click Log Export > Manifold 3 > Open Directory, and select the data files to export.
Export Logs
Export Manifold 3 Logs
- Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, then connect the aircraft to a computer.
- Launch DJI Assistant 2 and log in with a DJI account.
- Select the device and click Log Export on the left side.
- Click the checkbox to select designated device logs.
Export Application Logs
- Connect Manifold 3 to the aircraft, then connect the USB drive or hard drive to Manifold 3’s USB-C Port.
- Launch DJI Pilot 2 and enter the Application Management page, then select the desired application and tap More > Log Export. The logs will be saved to the USB drive or hard drive.
When using DJI Assistant 2 to export logs, follow the steps in the Export Application Files section and select the log files to export.
