Network Security
Please take all necessary measures to enhance network security for your device.

The following are necessary measures for the network security of your device:

Change the default password and set a strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters, and special characters.
Keep firmware up to date: It is recommended that your device is always upgraded to the latest version for the latest functions and better security. Visit Uniview’s official website or contact your local dealer for the latest firmware.

The following are recommendations for enhancing the network security of your device:

Change the password regularly: Change your device password regularly and keep the password safe. Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device.
Enable HTTPS/SSL: Use an SSL certificate to encrypt HTTP communications and ensure data security.
Enable IP address filtering: Allow access only from the specified IP addresses.
Minimum port mapping: Configure your router or firewall to open a minimum set of ports to the WAN and keep only the necessary port mappings. Never set the device as the DMZ host or configure a full cone NAT.
Disable the automatic login and save password features: If multiple users have access to your computer, it is recommended that you disable these features to prevent unauthorized access.
Choose a username and password discretely: Avoid using the username and password of your social media, bank, email account, etc, as the username and password of your device, in case your social media, bank and email account information is leaked.
Restrict user permissions: If more than one user needs access to your system, make sure each user is granted only the necessary permissions.
Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage. Therefore, it is recommended to disable UPnP if HTTP and TCP port mapping have been enabled manually on your router.
SNMP: Disable SNMP if you do not use it. If you do use it, then SNMPv3 is recommended.
Multicast: Multicast is intended to transmit video to multiple devices. If you do not use this function, it is recommended you disable multicast on your network.
Check logs: Check your device logs regularly to detect unauthorized access or abnormal operations.

Physical protection: Keep the device in a locked room or cabinet to prevent unauthorized physical access.
Isolate video surveillance network: Isolating your video surveillance network with other service networks helps prevent unauthorized access to devices in your security system from other service networks.

Safety Warnings
The device must be installed, serviced, and maintained by a trained professional with the necessary safety knowledge and skills. Before you start using the device, please read through this guide carefully and make sure all applicable requirements are met to avoid danger and loss of property.

Storage, Transportation, and Use

Store or use the device in a proper environment that meets environmental requirements, including and not limited to, temperature, humidity, dust, corrosive gases, electromagnetic radiation, etc.

Make sure the device is securely installed or placed on a flat surface to prevent falling.
Unless otherwise specified, do not stack devices.
Ensure good ventilation in the operating environment. Do not cover the vents on the device. Allow adequate space for ventilation.

Protect the device from liquid of any kind.
Make sure the power supply provides a stable voltage that meets the power requirements of the device. Make sure the power supply’s output power exceeds the total maximum power of all the connected devices.
Verify that the device is properly installed before connecting it to power.

Do not remove the seal from the device body without consulting Uniview first. Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Contact a trained professional for maintenance.
Always disconnect the device from power before attempting to move the device.
Take proper waterproof measures in accordance with requirements before using the device outdoors.

Power Requirements

Install and use the device in strict accordance with your local electrical safety regulations.
Use a UL certified power supply that meets LPS requirements if an adapter is used.

Use the recommended cordset (power cord) in accordance with the specified ratings.
Only use the power adapter supplied with your device.
Use a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing (grounding) connection.

Ground your device properly if the device is intended to be grounded.

Introduction

Smart interactive display (hereinafter referred to as “display”), designed for digital office, adopts an UHD anti-glare screen and integrates multiple functions such as smart writing and screen sharing, providing an efficient and smart meeting environment and realizing smart office throughout workflow. This manual describes how to use the display.

System

Home Screen

The display shows the home screen by default after startup.

Icon	Description
	View the current network status.
	Tools such as annotation, volume and brightness adjustment. See Tools for details.
Pin Code	Used to share screen on your phone to the display. See Screen Sharing for details.
	Frequently-used apps. See Home App Management for customizing frequently-used apps.
	View the current screen location.
	Tap to hide the navigation bar. You may swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open the navigation bar, and swipe down to hide it.

	View operation guides, FAQs, etc.
	Return to the previous screen.
	Return to the home screen.
	View running apps and switch between them. See Running Apps for details.
	Switch input sources, including OPS, HDMI, etc. Tap to edit the name of the signal source.
	Set up the display. See Settings for details.
	Screen off/reboot/shut down. The display will automatically shut down if there is no operation within 15 seconds.

App Management

Running Apps
Tap in the navigation bar.
- Swipe right or left to view all running apps.
- Tap an app to switch to it.
- Tap or swipe up an app to close it.
- Tap Clear all to close all running apps.

Home App Management
Swipe left on the home screen, then swipe up or down to view all apps installed on the display, or tap HOME APP MANAGEMENT to manage the frequently-used apps displayed on the home screen.
Install/Uninstall Apps
- Install apps: Get the app you want to use from the Play Store, browser or USB drive, and then install it.
- Uninstall apps: On the app screen, touch and hold on the app you want to delete, and then tap.

Tools

Tap on the left or right side of the screen to open the Tools menu.

Annotation
Make annotations on the current screen.
Camera
Tap in the Tools menu to take photos or videos with the built-in camera or an external camera module. For some displays, the camera mode can be set to Smooth priority or Resolution priority in Settings > General > Camera switch, so as to show different camera screens and shooting effects.
- Smooth priority (default): Show the smooth image, but the resolution cannot be changed. The screen effect is shown above.
- Resolution priority: Show the clear image and allow to change the resolution. The screen effect is shown below
Timer
- Timer
- Chronometer
- Dater
  Tap Click to add a day counting event to set a date to start the countdown.
Screen Lock
Enable screen lock in Settings > General > Lock screen password, set the password, and then tap in the Tools menu to lock the screen. To unlock, enter the correct password.

Screenshot
Take a screenshot of the displayed content.
- Partial screenshot (default): Drag the four corners of the screenshot box to adjust the screenshot area.
- Full screenshot: Tap to enter full screenshot mode. Tap to switch to a partial screenshot mode.
- Tap to complete the screenshot and save it to File Manager as a local file. Tap to cancel the screenshot. Tap to insert the screenshot to the whiteboard.
Screen Recording
Record the screen.
Touch Sensing
When Touch Sensing is enabled, you can tap on the screen to dim it, and the brightness restores automatically in 3s if you have no operation.

Eye Protection
Eye protection mode automatically adjusts the color tone of the screen to protect your eyes.
File Transfer
Upload images or files to the display by scanning a QR code. See File Transfer for details.
Volume & Brightness Adjustment
- Auto adjustment: Tap, and then the brightness will be automatically adjusted based on the light intensity of the surrounding environment.
- Manual adjustment: Adjust the volume or brightness by dragging the slider.

Apps

Settings

Tap in the navigation bar or on the HOME APP MANAGEMENT screen to configure general settings, network, etc.

General

Item	Description
Power on channel	Set the power-on channel, including Android, OPS, etc. The corresponding screen will be displayed after startup.
OPS boot	Open with any channel: The OPS module is automatically powered on for any input source. Open with OPS: The OPS module is automatically powered on for OPS input only. NOTE! After the OPS module is powered on, if you switch the signal source of the device to OPS, the device will instantly enter the corresponding screen.
Boot mode	Select how to start up the display after power-on. Power on and power on (default): To start up the display, turn the power switch on. Power on standby: To start up the display, turn the power switch on and press the power button. Power on memory: If you shut down the display by turning the power switch off, then next time you just need to turn the power switch on to start up the display. If you shut down the display by tapping Power on the screen or pressing the power button, then next time you need to turn the power switch on and press the power button to start up the display.
USB camera	Select the camera used.
Lock screen password	Set the screen lock password, allowing numeric and gesture passwords. Then, tap in the Tools menu to lock the screen.
Smart module configuration	When the Uniview camera module is connected to the display, the camera mode can be set and it will take effect in all apps that use the camera module. AI mode: Auto framing: Automatically identify everyone on the screen and zoom in on them in the center. Speaker tracking: Automatically identify the person who is talking on the screen and display his/her close-up. Multi-window close-up: Automatically identify everyone on the screen and display their close-up images individually in the split screens. Camera Style: Set the image style. HDR: High dynamic range imaging, used to improve the image brightness and contrast ratio to deliver more image details. Note: · AI mode is only available to the AI camera module. · This function is only available to certain models.
Smart module upgrade	When the Uniview camera module is connected to the display, the system will automatically detect the firmware version of the module and upgrade it. Note: · Do not plug and unplug the module or turn off the display during the upgrade. · This function is only available to certain models.
No operation standby	If there is no operation after the set time, the display will be in the standby mode.
HDMI OUT	Set the display resolution of the image output from the HDMI interface. If it is set to Auto, the resolution of the display is adaptive.
Suspended window	When enabled, the suspended window will be displayed on the screen and you can manage the frequently-used apps displayed in the suspended window.
Side navigation bar	When enabled, the side navigation bar will be displayed on the left and right sides of the screen, and you can swipe up and down to adjust its position.

Centralized control	When enabled, you can control the device via the serial port.
Intelligent recognition	When enabled, if other sources are connected, the display will automatically show the corresponding screen.
Source wakeup	When enabled, if another signal source is connected to the display in the standby state, the device will automatically wake up.
USB access control	When enabled, access to the USB interface will be controlled.
Camera switch	Switch the camera mode to show different Camera screens and shooting effects. See Camera for details. Smooth priority (default): Show the smooth image, but the resolution cannot be changed. Resolution priority: Show the clear image and allow to change the resolution. Note: This function is only available to certain models.

Network

Wireless Network

Enable WIFI to discover available wireless networks automatically, then select a network and enter its password to connect to it. After a successful connection, you can tap to view and configure the network.
The list automatically refreshes available wireless networks. If the wireless network you want to use does not appear in the network list, tap Add Network to add it manually.

Wired Network
Connect the display to a wired network using a network cable. Select Automatically obtain an IP address, and you can automatically obtain the IP address, gateway, subnet mask, and other parameters. If you select Manually set the IP address, and then you can set the parameters manually.

Hotspot
Enable Wi-Fi hotspot to share the display’s Internet connection with other devices for wireless screen sharing. See Screen Sharing for details.

Item	Description
Hotspot name	View or edit the hotspot name. Other devices can discover the hotspot using the name.
Security	None: The hotspot is accessible without a password. WPA2-Personal: The hotspot is accessible with a password.
Password	Set the password according to the on-screen prompt.
Broadcast channel	Set the frequency band of the hotspot. Switching to 2.4 GHz helps other devices discover the hotspot but may slow down the connection speed, which is opposite to 5.0 GHz.

Network Status
View the network status and IP address of the display.

Bluetooth

Enable Bluetooth, and tap Pair new device to discover available Bluetooth devices automatically, and then select a device to connect to it.

The list automatically refreshes available Bluetooth devices. If the Bluetooth device you want to use does not appear in the device list, you can manually pair the Bluetooth device with the display.

Display

Wallpaper
Set the wallpaper. You can use an existing image in the system or tap to import an image from File Manager as the wallpaper.

Color Temperature
Set the color temperature of the screen.

Sound

Item	Description
System sound	Turn on/off the device sound.
Surround stereo	Turn on/off the surround stereo.
Digital audio output format	PCM: The audio is output to the amplifier via PCM format, and then decoded. Auto: The device automatically selects the decoding output mode. Bypass: The audio is decoded and magnified by the amplifier.

Scheduled Power On/Off
Enable Power-on by Alarm or Timed shutdown, and set the time for the display to automatically turn on or off.

Storage & Apps
View app information and internal storage space of the display.

Date & Language

Date & Time
Enable Automatic acquisition time, then the display can sync the date and time with the network. To manually set the date and time, disable Automatic acquisition time.

Language
View or change the currently used language.

Keyboard
View the currently used keyboard input method. You can install other input methods by downloading in the browser or obtaining installation packages from a USB flash drive. Set the input method from the Manage keyboard.

Reset
Clear all data from the display’s internal storage and restore the device to factory settings.

CAUTION!
The reset operation cannot be undone.

About

View the display information, including name, version, etc.
Tap Device name to edit the display name. Tap Windows System Reset to restore the OPS signal source to the default factory settings.

Whiteboard

Tap to open Whiteboard. You can write or draw on the whiteboard with your fingers or the stylus pen.

Writing Tools

: Single-point writing mode. Tap to switch to multi-point writing mode.
: Multi-point writing mode. Up to 20 points are allowed. Tap to switch to single-point writing mode.
: Pen. Set the handwriting size, including S (small pen) and B (big pen).

: Eraser. Erase what you’ve written.
- : Drag the eraser over the contents you want to erase.
- : Circle the contents you want to erase.
- Swipe to clear: Clear all contents on the current canvas.
  NOTE!
  In writing mode, you can drag your hand over the contents you want to erase. The erase area depends on the recognized hand size.
: Select. Circle an area and perform copy, delete, and other operations on it.
: Insert images to the whiteboard.
: Insert shapes. Draw the shape with the shape tool or auxiliary tools, and then set the size, color, and border width as needed.
: Undo the last operation.
: Redo what you’ve undone.

Page Tools

: Create a new page.
: Previous/next page.
: Current page location/total number of pages. Tap to show the thumbnail of all pages.
Tap a thumbnail to switch to the page. To delete a page, tap.
: Delete the current page.

Auxiliary Tools

: Exit Whiteboard.
: View the whiteboard’s version information.
: Set the whiteboard background.
: Open a saved whiteboard file.
: Share whiteboard contents via a QR code, and others can view the contents by scanning the QR code.
: Converts the current whiteboard contents into an image and sends it by email.
: Save whiteboard contents.
: Partition. Divide the canvas into left and right two canvas, which can be written separately.

Screen Sharing

Tap to open Screen Sharing. The device allows screen sharing from Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

Item	Description
IP	IP address of the device or the hotspot.
MAC	MAC address of the device.
Settings	Set whether to automatically launch this app after startup.
Launch this app when the startup	Set whether to automatically launch this app after startup.
Theme 2	Change the app theme.
	Set screen-sharing parameters by referring to the description of other items.
Pin Code	Enter the pin code in the screen sharing client for screen sharing. Enable Pin Code in to show the code.

Swipe left on the Guide Section screen to the Instructions screen. Refer to the on-screen instructions to start screen sharing.

Welcome

Tap or swipe right on the home screen to open Welcome. You can design the page style to welcome visitors or show activity.

: Reset the current page to its initial state.
: Insert the custom styles.
- Text: Insert a text box, and edit the content and style.
- Image/background music/background: Open the file folder and select the file you want to insert.
: Quickly change welcome templates.
: Save the current style as a custom template.

File Transfer

Tap to open File Transfer. Scan the QR code to transfer images or files.

Scan the QR code.
Select the image or file you want to transfer. The selected image or file will be displayed on the display synchronously.
After the transfer is complete, you can perform save, open, and delete operations on the image or file.
To close the app, tap. All the received images and files will be cleared after you close it.

System Upgrade

Tap to open System Upgrade. The upgrade can be done automatically or manually.

Auto Upgrade
Tap CHECK NOW to see whether a new version is available. If there is no new version, you will be prompted that the system is up to date. If a newer version is displayed, download and install it.
- Tap Configure Upgrade and enable Auto Upgrade, then you can receive an update notification when a new version is available.
Manual Upgrade
Tap Install Manually, and select the upgrade file to start the upgrade.

File Manager

Tap to open File Manager. This app allows the management of one or more items.
