Start Preparation

Your new RC model is ready to drive. Transmitter and receiver are bound. The speed controller is set up and ready to use. Charge the drive battery and insert it into the battery compartment in your RC model. To remove/insert the battery, open the battery compartment on the underside of the model. Connect the battery to the connector plug/speed controller (ensure correct polarity). Always switch on the remote control first and then the model (speed controller) (B ON/OFF). When switching off, proceed in reverse order. If the model is not being operated, ALWAYS disconnect the battery and remove it from the model! If the model slows down considerably or stops (no more drive, but steering works), stop driving immediately and recharge the battery (DO NOT switch on/off and continue driving, this will destroy the battery!).

Charging Battery

NEVER leave the charging cable unwound, this can lead to overheating!

df-models-24060-Remot-Control- (3)

The model is equipped with a Li-ion battery and a USB charger. ALWAYS charge the battery outside the model to avoid overheating during the charging process. NEVER charge the battery unattended (e.g., “overnight”), always use a fireproof base and observe the safety instructions for the battery/charger! When the model is not in use, the battery must ALWAYS be unplugged and removed from the model. Never pull on the cables; always pull on the plug to disconnect! Never charge warm/hot batteries; always allow them to cool down first!

  • Connect the charging cable (USB) to a suitable power supply (USB power supply unit, output: 5 Volt – 10 Watt | not included).
  • Now connect the battery to the USB charging cable.
  • The LED flashes / lights up red, the battery is charging.
  • The LED goes out when the battery is connected, the battery is fully charged.
  • Disconnect the battery from the USB charging cable. Disconnect the USB power adapter from the power supply.
  • Maximum charging time approx. 1-4 hours (depending on the output power of the USB power supply unit).

When the model is not in use ALWAYS disconnect the battery and remove it from the model!

df-models-24060-Remot-Control- (7)Driving
Turning the steering wheel to the left/right steers the model to the left/right. Pulling the throttle handle in the direction of the handle accelerates the model (moves forward). By pushing away from the handle, the model moves backwards. If the model does not move straight ahead without steering, you can adjust this using the trim on the underside of the model (adjust the trim lock (C) to the right or left).

Maintenance Regular Checks

The model is already assembled ready to drive and can be put into operation immediately after inserting the transmitter batteries (not included) and the drive battery. The drive and control components are assembled and wired, and the transmitter and receiver are connected automatically. However, you should check all screw connections for tightness before the first ride. Replace defective parts immediately and clean the model to remove dirt and dust.

Notice: The model is not designed for water travel. Water will get into the tires and destroy them. The electronics are also not waterproof and can be damaged. Very dusty and dirty terrain should also be avoided.

Check the following points regularly:

  • Are the wheel nuts and screw connections tight?
  • Is the servo control lever firmly seated on the servo shaft?
  • Is the drive battery charged and fixed in the holder?
  • Are the rotating and moving parts running smoothly?
  • Are the cables routed and secured so that they do not get caught in moving parts?
  • Is the range of the transmitter sufficient?
