Einführung

The KEF KW2RX Wireless Subwoofer Receiver is designed to seamlessly integrate your active subwoofer into a wireless audio system. It receives wireless signals from a compatible KEF XIO Soundbar and transmits them to any connected subwoofer.

The KW2RX effortlessly plugs into the back of specific active KEF subwoofers, including models like KC62, KC92, and Kube. For third-party subwoofers, connection is possible via the Aux/Optical Combo output.

Wichtiger Hinweis: The KW2RX is not compatible with speakers from the KEF LS Wireless Collection. For connecting those speakers to KEF subwoofers, the KW1 Adapter Kit is recommended.

Installationsanweisungen

Connecting to KEF Subwoofers (KC62, KC92, Kube)

1. The KW2RX is designed for direct integration with compatible KEF active subwoofers.
2. Locate the dedicated KW2RX port on the back panel of your KEF subwoofer.
3. Align the pins on the KW2RX receiver with the port and gently push to secure the connection. Ensure the receiver is firmly seated.

Connecting to Third-Party Subwoofers

1. For subwoofers without a dedicated KW2RX port, use the Aux/Optical Combo output.
2. Connect the KW2RX to your subwoofer using the appropriate cable (3.5mm AUX to RCA or Optical cable, included) based on your subwoofer's input options.
3. Ensure the subwoofer's input is set to the corresponding connection type.

Powering the KW2RX

Connect the included USB-C Power Cable to the KW2RX and a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on your subwoofer/soundbar. The KW2RX requires 5V=2A for optimal operation.

Drahtloser Signalempfang

The KW2RX receives wireless audio signals exclusively from a compatible KEF XIO Soundbar. Ensure your XIO Soundbar is powered on and configured to transmit to the KW2RX. The KW2RX will automatically establish a wireless connection when both devices are powered on and within range.

Audio Transmission to Subwoofer

Once connected and receiving a signal, the KW2RX transmits the audio to the connected subwoofer. Adjust the subwoofer's volume and crossover settings as per your audio preferences and room acoustics for optimal sound performance.

Wipe the receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

Lagerung

When not in use for extended periods, store the KW2RX in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prolong its lifespan.

• Subwoofer-Einstellungen: Check the subwoofer's input selection, volume, and crossover settings to ensure they are correctly configured.

• Interferenz: Ensure the KW2RX is not placed too close to other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, microwave ovens) that might cause signal interference.
• Reichweite: Verify the KW2RX is within the effective wireless range of the KEF XIO Soundbar. Obstacles like thick walls can reduce range.
