1. Einleitung

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your SMACO Full Face Diving Mask. 4. Einrichtung

4.1. Fitting the Mask

1. Ensure the mask is clean and free of debris.
2. Hold the mask by the frame and place your chin into the bottom of the mask.
3. Pull the adjustable 5-point head harness over your head, ensuring it sits comfortably and securely.
4. Adjust the straps evenly until the silicone skirt forms a tight seal around your face. The mask should feel snug but not uncomfortably tight.

4.2. Attaching the Snorkel

For snorkeling use, attach the snorkel to the designated port on top of the mask. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

4.3. Attaching to Scuba Tank (for Diving)

To use the mask for diving with a SMACO scuba tank (S400/S400 Plus/S400 Pro/S700/S700 Max):

1. Remove the mouthpiece from the second stage Regler.
2. Connect mouthpiece and air intake holes of the mask.
3. Wrap the zip tie around the connection.
4. Subtract the excess part of the zip tie.

4.4. Anbringen einer Kamera

The mask features a detachable camera mount on the top. Attach your action camera to this mount to record your underwater adventures.

5.1. Snorkeling Use

With the snorkel attached, the mask's dry top system prevents water entry when submerged. The separate breathing channels ensure fresh air intake and efficient CO₂ expulsion, minimizing fogging and allowing natural breathing.

5.2. Diving Use

When connected to a compatible SMACO scuba tank, the mask functions as a full-face diving mask. Ensure the snorkel is removed and the regulator is securely attached. The mask's design allows for comfortable breathing and a wide field of vision underwater.

5.3. Breathing System

The mask's innovative breathing system separates inhaled fresh air from exhaled CO₂. This design minimizes the rebreathing of carbon dioxide and prevents the mask from fogging, providing clear vision throughout your activity.

• Ensure a proper seal is achieved to prevent water leakage.
• Do not use the mask if you have facial hair that interferes with the seal.
• Never dive alone. Always use with a buddy.
• Familiarize yourself with the mask's quick-release mechanism for emergency removal.
• For diving, ensure you are properly trained and certified. Always follow safe diving practices.
• Avoid rapid ascents while diving to prevent pressure-related injuries.
• Do not use the mask if you feel unwell or experience any discomfort.

• Reinigung: After each use, rinse the mask thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and chlorine. Use a mild soap if necessary, but avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Trocknen: Allow the mask to air dry completely in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, before storing.
• Lagerung: Store the mask in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective bag, to prevent scratches and deformation. Avoid storing it under heavy objects or in direct sunlight.
• Inspektion: Periodically check the silicone skirt, straps, and lens for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.
