Einrichtung und Montage
Your lawn mower requires some assembly and initial preparation before its first use.
- Auspacken: Nehmen Sie alle Komponenten vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Prüfen Sie, ob Beschädigungen oder Teile fehlen.
- Lenkermontage:
Attach the lower and upper handlebar sections. The ergonomic handle can be easily folded for storage. Ensure all bolts and knobs are securely tightened.

- Grasfangkorb-Montage: Assemble the 50-liter soft grass bag according to the instructions provided with the bag. Attach it securely to the rear of the mower.
- Motoröl hinzufügen:
The engine is shipped without oil. Before starting, add 0.47 liters of SAE30 4-stroke engine oil to the engine crankcase. Do not overfill. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity if different.

- Tanken: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded petrol. Do not use E85 or other ethanol blends higher than E10. Do not overfill.
Bedienungsanleitung
Starten des Motors

- Push the primer bulb 3-5 times (if equipped).
- Hold the engine brake lever against the handle.
- Pull the starter rope with a smooth, continuous motion until the engine starts.
Einstellen der Schnitthöhe
The Murray EQ2-500 features a 6-step central cutting height adjustment, ranging from 25 mm to 75 mm.
- Ensure the engine is off and the blade has stopped.
- Locate the height adjustment lever near the wheels.
- Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting. Ensure all wheels are at the same height setting.

4-in-1 Mowing Functions
Your Murray EQ2-500 offers four versatile mowing options:
- Collecting (Bagging): For a clean finish, attach the 50-liter grass catcher. The grass bag includes a dust protection feature and a fill level indicator.
- Mulchen: For returning fine grass clippings to the lawn as natural fertilizer, install the mulching plug (if included).
- Heckauswurf: For situations where collecting is not necessary, remove the grass catcher and allow clippings to discharge from the rear.
- Seitenauswurf: For cutting taller grass or when a wide spread of clippings is preferred, attach the side discharge chute.

Release the engine brake lever. The engine will stop automatically.
Wartung

- Cleaning the Deck:
The mower features an integrated wash port for easy cleaning of the cutting deck. Connect a garden hose to the port, start the engine, and let it run for a minute to clean the underside of the deck.

- Motorölkontrolle: Check the engine oil level before each use. Top up if necessary with SAE30 4-stroke engine oil. Change oil annually or after every 25 hours of operation.
