4. Einrichtung

4.1 Einlegen der Batterie

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Radio ausgeschaltet ist.
2. Suchen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite des Radios.
3. Öffnen Sie die Abdeckung.
4. Insert the 3 AA 1000mAh rechargeable NiMH batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment cover securely to maintain IP67 water resistance.

4.2 Aufladen der Akkus

1. Connect the provided 2-in-1 USB-C cable to the USB-C charging port on the side of the radio.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

Zum Einschalten des Radios die Taste gedrückt halten MENÜ/Ein/Aus button until the display illuminates. To power off, press and hold the MENÜ/Ein/Aus Drücken Sie die Taste erneut, bis die Anzeige erlischt.

5.2 Lautstärke anpassen

Drücken Sie die UP or RUNTER arrow buttons to adjust the listening volume from level 0 to 7. The current volume level will be displayed on the screen.

5.3 Kanalauswahl

1. Bei eingeschaltetem Radio die Taste drücken SPEISEKARTE Drücken Sie die Taste einmal. Die Kanalnummer blinkt im Display.
2. Verwenden Sie die UP or RUNTER Mit den Pfeiltasten können Sie den gewünschten Kanal (1-22) auswählen.
3. Drücken Sie die SPEISEKARTE button again to confirm your selection and exit the channel setting mode.

5.4 Senden und Empfangen

To communicate, ensure all radios are set to the same channel. The maximum talking range is approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) in open environments.

• Zum Senden: Halten Sie die PTT button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting.

5.5 VOX Freisprechfunktion

VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button. This feature is adjustable from 0 (off) to 5 (most sensitive) levels.

3. Drücken Sie die SPEISEKARTE key to select NOAA channel CH1-CH11.
4. Drücken Sie die SPEISEKARTE key again, then use UP or RUNTER to turn on/off the automatic receiving function.

5.8 Emergency Alarm and LED Flashlight

In an emergency, the radio offers a local and remote alarm function along with a built-in LED flashlight.

• Notfallalarm: Drücken Sie die entsprechende SOS button (often located on the side or front, refer to Figure 2) to activate the alarm. This will alert other radios within range.
• LED-Taschenlampe: Drücken Sie die LED-Taschenlampe button (refer to Figure 2) to turn the flashlight on or off.

6. Wartung

6.1 Reinigung

6.2 Batteriepflege

To maximize battery life, fully charge the batteries before first use and after extended periods of non-use. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the batteries regularly. Store the radio and batteries in a cool, dry place.

6.3 Wasserdichtigkeit (IP67)

The RT45P is rated IP67, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the battery compartment cover and USB-C port cover are properly sealed before exposing the radio to water.
