1. Auspacken und Aufstellen
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the JVC HR-XVC15 on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
2. Anschluss an einen Fernseher
The JVC HR-XVC15 offers several options for connecting to your television. Choose the connection type that provides the best quality supported by your TV.

- Component Video (Progressive Scan): For the highest quality video, connect the red (Pr), blue (Pb), and green (Y) component video cables from the unit's "COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN VIDEO OUT" to the corresponding inputs on your TV. Connect separate audio cables (red for R, white for L) from the "AUDIO OUT" section to your TV's audio inputs.
- RCA Video/Audio: Connect a yellow RCA video cable from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Video) to your TV's video input. Connect red (R) and white (L) RCA audio cables from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Audio) to your TV's audio inputs.
- Koaxiales digitales Audio: For digital audio output, connect a coaxial digital audio cable from the unit's "COAXIAL" output to a compatible input on your audio receiver or TV.
- VCR Line In: To connect an external device for recording to VHS, use the "VCR IN LINE 1" (Audio L/R and Video) ports.
3. Stromanschluss
After all audio/video connections are made, plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.
Bedienungsanleitung
1. Ein-/Ausschalten
Drücken Sie die STANDBY-EIN Taste auf der Vorderseite zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts.
2. Selecting Source (DVD/VCR)
Drücken Sie die VCR SOURCE DVD button on the front panel to switch between DVD and VCR modes. The indicator light will show the currently selected source.
3. DVD-Wiedergabe
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Gerät im DVD-Modus befindet.
- Drücken Sie die ÖFFNEN/SCHLIESSEN -Taste, um das Disc-Fach zu öffnen.
- Legen Sie eine DVD oder CD mit der beschrifteten Seite nach oben in das Disc-Fach ein.
- Drücken ÖFFNEN/SCHLIESSEN erneut, um das Fach zu schließen.
- Die Wiedergabe sollte automatisch starten. Falls nicht, drücken Sie die Taste SPIELEN Taste.
4. VHS Playback
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Gerät im Videorecorder-Modus befindet.
- Legen Sie eine VHS-Kassette in den Videorekorder-Schacht ein. Das Gerät lädt die Kassette automatisch.
- Die Wiedergabe sollte automatisch starten. Falls nicht, drücken Sie die Taste SPIELEN Taste.
- Verwenden Sie die REW (Zurückspulen), F.FWD (Schnellvorlauf) und STOP/AUSWERFEN Tasten zur Bandsteuerung.
5. Recording VHS to DVD (One-Touch Recording)
This feature allows for easy transfer of VHS content to a recordable DVD.
- Insert a recordable DVD (DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W) into the DVD tray.
