5. Einrichtungsanweisungen

5.1 Laser Module Connection

The LT-5W-F45 laser module is designed for plug-and-play compatibility with various 12V 3PIN laser engraving machines. For machines with 2PIN or other non-3PIN main boards, a P-DA-01 Driver Adapter is required.

  1. For 3PIN Main Boards: Connect the laser module's 3PIN cable directly to the corresponding input on your engraving machine's main board.
  2. For 2PIN or Other Main Boards (using P-DA-01 Driver Adapter):
    1. Connect the cable from your engraving machine's main board to the appropriate input connector on the P-DA-01 Driver Adapter (e.g., 12V/24V 2*2PIN Control Board input).
    2. Connect the cable of the laser module to the "Output A" connector on the P-DA-01 Driver Adapter.
    3. Ensure the power switch on the P-DA-01 is set correctly for either "External Power" (if using an external power adapter) or "Internal Power" (if power is provided by the control board).

5.2 Air Assist Setup (if applicable)

The air assist system helps to achieve cleaner cuts and protect the laser lens.

  1. Connect one end of the provided air pipe (φ8*6mm) to the air assist nozzle on the laser module.
  2. Connect the other end of the air pipe to the output of the air pump.
  3. Plug the air pump into a suitable power outlet (110V for US, 220V for EU).
  4. The air pump features an adjustable knob to control the airflow from 0-30L/min.

6.1 Fokussieren des Lasers

The LT-5W-F45 laser module has a fixed focal length of 45mm. Proper focusing is crucial for optimal engraving and cutting results.

  • For Engraving: Position the laser module so that the focus is precisely on the surface of the material. Use the provided 7mm focus fixing plate as a reference to set the correct distance between the laser module and the material.

  • For Cutting: For best cutting performance, the focus should be located slightly below the surface of the material. Refer to the table below for recommended focus fixing plate thicknesses based on material thickness.

7.1 Laser Module Lens Cleaning

The laser lens can accumulate dust and residue during operation, affecting performance. Clean it regularly.
