6.2 Throttle Mode Selection (Mode 1 / Mode 2)
The FS-I6X supports both Mode 1 (right throttle) and Mode 2 (left throttle). The default mode is Mode 2. To change the throttle mode, refer to the transmitter's system settings menu. This typically involves adjusting a mechanical spring on the throttle stick and then changing the software setting.
6.3 Bindung des Empfängers
To establish communication between the transmitter and receiver, they must be bound.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sender ausgeschaltet ist.
- Verbinden Sie den Bindungsstecker mit dem B/VCC-Anschluss des Empfängers.
- Apply power to the receiver (e.g., connect to an ESC or external battery). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.
- While holding down the "BIND KEY" button on the FS-I6X transmitter (refer to Figure 5.5), power on the transmitter.
- Release the "BIND KEY" once the transmitter powers on.
Notiz:
- The FS-I6X transmitter is initially configured for 6 channels. To utilize 10 channels, you must access the transmitter's system menu and configure it accordingly.
- Ensure your receiver (IA6B or IA10B) is compatible with the AFHDS 2A protocol.
7. Bedienung
Once bound, the transmitter controls your model aircraft.
- Steuerknüppel: Die primären Flugflächen steuern (Querruder, Höhenruder, Seitenruder, Gashebel).
- Schalter: Activate auxiliary functions such as landing gear, flaps, flight modes, or dual rates.
- Knobs (VRD): Provide proportional control for additional functions, often used for camera gimbals or fine-tuning.
- LCD Anzeige: Shows real-time telemetry data (if supported by receiver and sensors), battery voltage, channel outputs, and menu navigation.
Familiarize yourself with the transmitter's menu system to configure model types, channel assignments, mixes, and other advanced settings.
8. Wartung
- Reinigung: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the transmitter and receivers. Avoid using solvents or harsh chemicals.
- Lagerung: Store the equipment in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the transmitter if storing for extended periods.
- Firmware-Updates: Periodically check the FLYSKY official website for firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add features, or fix bugs. The USB cable can be used for online updates.
- Batteriepflege: Verwenden Sie stets frische, hochwertige AA-Batterien. Tauschen Sie alle vier Batterien gleichzeitig aus.
9. Fehlerbehebung
- Kein Strom:
- Prüfen Sie die Batteriepolarität und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien neu sind.
- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich der Netzschalter in der Position EIN befindet.
- Empfänger bindet nicht:
- Ensure the bind plug is correctly inserted into the B/VCC port on the receiver.
- Confirm the transmitter's "BIND KEY" is pressed during power-on.
- Check that both transmitter and receiver are powered on in the correct sequence (transmitter first, then receiver after bind plug removal).
- Ensure the receiver is compatible with the AFHDS 2A protocol.
- Loss of Signal / Short Range:
- Ensure receiver antennas are properly positioned and not obstructed by carbon fiber or metal.
- Avoid operating near other 2.4GHz devices or sources of interference.
- Perform a range check before flying.
- Screen Pixels When Turning Off:
Some LCD displays may show temporary pixelation or ghosting during power-off as the screen discharges. This is often normal behavior and not indicative of a fault. If the display remains pixelated or unreadable after powering on, contact support.
10. Benutzertipps
- 10-Channel Activation: The FS-I6X transmitter is initially set to 6 channels. To unlock and use all 10 channels, you must access the transmitter's system menu and configure it accordingly. This is a software modification.
- Simulator Use: The DSC (PS/2) port on the back of the transmitter can be used to connect to a flight simulator on a computer, allowing you to practice flying without risking your model. Ensure you have the correct cable and software.
- Spracheinstellungen: The transmitter's menu language can typically be changed within the system settings. Check the menu for available language options, including Russian if supported by the firmware.
- Reichweite: While specific range can vary based on environmental factors, the 2.4GHz AFHDS 2A system is designed for reliable long-range control, often exceeding 1000 meters in optimal conditions. Always perform a range check.
- Receiver-Kompatibilität: The FS-I6X is compatible with FLYSKY AFHDS 2A receivers like the IA6B and IA10B. Compatibility with other brands or protocols (e.g., DSMX) is generally not supported unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer or through third-party modules (which may require advanced modification and are not officially supported).
- Modellkompatibilität: This radio system is versatile and suitable for various RC models, including fixed-wing aircraft, gliders, and helicopters. It is generally not designed for ground vehicles like tractors or drones that require specific flight controllers and protocols, unless the drone explicitly supports standard RC receiver input.
- Delta Wing Configuration: Advanced mixing functions, such as those required for Delta wing configurations, are available within the transmitter's menu system. Consult the detailed programming guide for your specific model type.
