LOCATE the initialization button inside the battery compartment (usually red). Press and release it; the safe will beep or a light will activate. Enter your new 3-8 digit PIN code on the keypad and press the confirming button (often '#' or '*') as specified in your model's manual.
Barska recommends using high-quality, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries (typically 4 AA). Do not mix old and new batteries, and replace them every 6 to 12 months for optimal performance.
