How do I install & set up internet on my DWR-2000M 5G Router with ONT Modem
For ISPs that use Dynamic (DHCP), PPPoE, or Static IP 1 Before you begin · Ask your ISP for your Internet connection type, Dynamic (DHCP), PPPoE (Username and Password), or Static IP · Some ISPs in Singapore (like Singtel, StarHub) may also require VLAN ID configuration in the router for internet to work. · Connect your computer directly to the ISP’s modem/ONT via Ethernet. If you can browse the internet, the connection is active 2 Physical Set up · Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the WAN/LAN port of your router, and the other end into the LAN port of your ONT/modem.
· Power up the ONT first, wait until its PON/LOS lights are normal, then power on your DWR-2000M router.
· Checked LED light on the router (Power and Wi-Fi LEDs should be solid green) · Connect your phone, tablet, or laptop, find the router’s default Wi-Fi name (SSID)
and password printed on the label at the back of the router. · Test your connection:

Technical Support Setup Procedure
· Connect your PC / Laptop to DWR-BE7200G either Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) is DLink2G-XXXX and DLink5G-XXXX, with the password printed on the product label
· Once connected, open a web browser and type in https://192.168.0.1 on the address bar and hit enter.
· You will be prompted to enter the Username and Password to access the router’s settings. Note: The default Username and Password are printed on the router’s label at the bottom
· Click Login to proceed.
Note: If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to perform a hard reset on the router 4 Choosing Your Internet Connection Type · Go to Internet Settings, then select your Access type from the drop-down menu
Technical Support Setup Procedure
o Dynamic (DHCP) Used by most cable or fiber setups. Simply select Dynamic, then click Save.
o PPPoE Common for DSL or fiber connections. Select PPPoE. Enter your username and password from your ISP. Input the VLAN ID only if your ISP requires it; otherwise, keep it set to Disabled Click Save.
o Static IP If your ISP gave you a fixed IP address. Enter your IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS details exactly as provided. Click Save.
o LAN If the router will use a SIM card (mobile data) as the internet source, select this option.
5 Failover Feature DWR-2000M supports failover, meaning if your primary connection lost connection, it will automatically switch to your backup connection, if not required, keep this option disable. · Primary: Mobile Network Select Ethernet for backup. · Primary: Fixed ISP Connection Select Mobile for backup.
Once saved, the router should connect to the internet within a few seconds. If it doesn’t: · Reboot your ONT Modem by plugging it in for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. · Double-check your connection type and credentials with your ISP.
