CYBEX wishes you and your child all the best, and many magical moments with your new product. Read all instructions before assembling and using the CYBEX high chair. The safety of your child is your responsibility.
USE AS CHAIR
WARNING
- Do not place this product near a window as it can be used as a step by the child and cause the child to fall out of the window.
- Do not place this product near a window where cords from blinds or curtains could strangle a child.
- Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat in the vicinity of the product.
- This chair is not suitable for children under 3 years old.
- Keep the children away when folding and unfolding the chair.
- Be aware of the risk of the product falling when folded in self-standing position and store it away from children.
The CYBEX chair complies with the European standard for Children’s Furniture EN17191:2021.
USE AS HIGH CHAIR
WARNING
- Never leave the child unattended.
- Always use the restraint system.
- Falling Hazard: Prevent your child from climbing on the product.
- Do not use the the product unless all components are correctly fitted and adjusted.
- Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat in the vicinity of the product.
- Be aware of the risk of tilting when your child can push its feet against a table or any other structure.
- When used as a high chair in combination with the Baby Set, this product is intended for children able to sit up unaided and up to 3 years or a maximum weight of 15 kg
- Only use this high chair once the child is capable of reliably and consistently sitting upright unaided.
- Keep the children away when folding and unfolding the chair.
- Be aware of the risk of the product falling when folded in self-standing position and store it away from children.
The CYBEX high chair complies with the european standard for high chairs EN 14988:2017+A2:2024.
USING THE PRODUCT
- Be aware of the risk that a child may attempt to hang on to the safety-bar or the tray and tip the chair over.
- Never place hot food or beverages on the tray.
- Use this high chair only on flat, even and horizontal surfaces. Never elevate the high chair on any structure or table.
- Reduce the risk of injury! Position the high chair away from furniture, walls, hot surfaces and liquids, window cords and electrical cords.
Please position the high chair away from furniture when
a.) the chair is not being used at a table and
b.) the tray is removed. - Do not use the high chair if any of the product’s parts is broken, torn, missing or the product itself is not working properly. Seek repair if any of these cases happen.
- Tighten the screws firmly but not excessively to avoid damaging the wood.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The user is responsible for the regular maintenance of the product.
- Regularly inspect and maintain this chair.
- All connecting parts must be tight and secured properly.
- Re-tighten the screws regularly.
- Use only original CYBEX replacement parts. It may be unsafe to use substitutes.
- Do not make any modifications to the product.
- Never store in a damp environment.
- If you have any complaints or problems, please contact your supplier or importer.
- Clean the CYBEX high chair with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
- Do not use abrasives to clean the chair.
- Please check the on-product care label for detailed washing instructions.
- Remove water or other liquids immediately with a dry cloth.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight for drying.
WARRANTY
The following warranty applies solely in the country where this product was initially sold by a retailer to a customer.
- The warranty covers all manufacturing and material defects, existing and appearing, at the date of purchase or appearing within a term of two (2) years from the date of purchase from the retailer who initially sold the product to a consumer (manufacturer’s warranty). Please check the product with respect to completeness and manufacturing or material defects immediately at the date of purchase or immediately after receipt. Please always keep your dated proof of purchase.
- In case of a defect, stop using the product immediately. To obtain the warranty please take or ship the product to the original retailer, who initially sold this product to you in a clean and complete condition and submit an original proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice). Please do not take or ship the product to the manufacturer directly.
- This warranty does not cover any damages which result from misuse, environmental influence (water, fire, accidents etc.), normal wear and tear or failure to comply with the instructions provided in this user manual. The warranty does not apply if modifications and services were performed by unauthorized persons or if non-original components and accessories were used.
- This warranty does not affect any statutory consumer rights, including claims in tort and claims with respect to a breach of contract, which the buyer may have against the seller or the manufacturer of the product. The warranty is not transferable to anyone who obtains possession or ownership other than the original purchaser.
DISPOSAL
In order to protect the environment, remember to properly dispose of your product. When you stop using your product, please make sure you dispose of the product in accordance to your local waste management regulations for correct disposal.
