Product Usage Instructions
Attention:
Please read all the information below before installation.
Installation:
- Remove all necessary parts to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
- Remove the outer fairing by removing 6 windshield screws shown in Figure 1. Lift to remove the windshield and store in a safe place to prevent damage.
- Remove outer fairing screws shown in Figure 2.
- If experiencing Rapid Flash on the Turn Signal dash indicator, follow the BCM sync and trouble code clearing steps provided.
- Remove fairing air deflector screws and OEM foam around vent opening.
- Pull outer fairing away from the inner fairing, unplug the headlight connector, and store outer fairing safely.
- Remove bottom vent OEM T10 torx screw and place LRST Vent LED in the vent, securing it with the screw.
- Locate left and right turn signal connectors, unplug them, and plug in LRST Vent LED connector at both turn signals.
- Use cable ties to secure wires from being cut, frayed, or pinched.
- Reinstall outer fairing and windshield in reverse order of removal.
- Replace all necessary parts and reconnect the battery negative cable.
- Test all operations of front turn signals and LRST Vent LED.

How do I sync the BCM and clear trouble codes if experiencing Rapid Flash on the Turn Signal dash indicator?
Answer:
To sync the BCM and clear trouble codes, follow these steps:
- Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike.
- Turn on 4-way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls. Count 10 flashes and deactivate.
- Repeat step 2 for another 10 flashes and deactivate.
- Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s).
- Turn Ignition OFF then back ON. Turn on 4-way hazards.

ATTENTION
Please read all the information below before the Installation
Warning
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery; refer to the owner’s manual. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury, or fire. Secure the negative battery cable away from the positive side of the battery and all other positive voltage sources on vehicle. Safety First: Always wear appropriate safety gear including safety glasses when performing any electrical work. It is highly recommended that safety glasses be worn throughout this installation process. Be sure the vehicle is on level surface, secure, and cool. Important: This product is designed and intended for use as auxiliary lighting only. It is NOT intended to replace any original equipment lighting installed on the vehicle and should not be used for that purpose. This product must be wired so that it does not interfere with any original equipment lighting.
Note:
If you’re experiencing a Rapid Flash on your Turn Signal dash indicator, you may need to sync the BCM (Body Control Module) and clear the trouble codes. Please click on the link below and follow the steps to clear the trouble codes and perform the BCM sync.
To sync the BCM, perform the following steps:
- Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike.
- Turn on 4-way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls. Count 10 flashes and deactivate.
- Turn on 4-way hazards for another 10 flashes and deactivate.
- Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
- Turn Ignition OFF then back ON. Turn on 4-way hazards.
After performing the steps above, turn the ignition switch to the ON position and test for proper turn signal operation. The dash turn signal indicators should no longer be Rapid Flashing
Installation
- Remove all necessary parts to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
- Remove outer fairing by removing 6 windshield screws shown in Figure 1. Lift to remove the windshield and store in a safe place to prevent damage.
- Remove outer fairing screws shown in Figure 2.
- Remove fairing air deflector screws shown in Figure 3.
- Pull outer fairing away from inner fairing and unplug headlight connector shown in Figure 4. Remove outer fairing and store in a safe place to prevent damage.
- Locate left and right turn signal connectors and unplug by pressing down on the releasing tab shown in Figure 5.
- Remove OEM foam around vent opening shown in Figure 6.
- Remove the bottom vent OEM T10 torx screw shown in Figure 7. Reuse in a later step.
- Place LRST Vent LED in the vent and secure with OEM T10 torx screw in the previous step shown in Figure 8.
- Plug the LRST Vent LED connector at both turn signals. Use cable ties to secure wires from being cut, frayed, or pinched.
- Reinstall the outer fairing and windshield in the reverse order that they were removed.
- Replace all necessary parts and reconnect the battery negative cable.
- Test all operations of front turn signals and LRST Vent LED.
