Speed-E Connect Float Connection System

Mechanically-activated, narrow-angle, internally weighted municipal float switch designed by the global manufacturing leader. The Speed-EConnect™ float is ideal for level control in municipal sewage pumping stations. The internal switching mechanism contains unique gold crosspoint contacts, providing precision and reliable control signals up to 1 Amp.
Electrical Warnings
Failure to follow these precautions could result in serious injury or death. Do not energize the Speed-E Connect™ system if all ports on the manifold are not properly connected to a float switch and/or a sealing plug. If any of the manifold ports were left open in the tank, have come in contact with water, or the manifold cable is damaged or severed, replace the manifold immediately. Do not attempt to dry the manifold ports or repair the Speed-E Connect™ system. Keep these instructions with the warranty after installation. This product must be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, so as to prevent moisture from entering or accumulating within boxes, conduit bodies, fittings, float housing, or cable.

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Disconnect power before installing or servicing this product. A qualified service person must install and service this product according to applicable electrical and plumbing codes.

EXPLOSION OR FIRE HAZARD
Do not use with flammable liquids. Install in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 70. Suitable for use with intrinsically safe circuit extensions as defined by UL 698A.

- To unplug the float switch or sealing plug from the manifold, twist the outer boot and slide. Press latch and pull down connector to release.

- Determine tether length for each float switch and install float switches at desired activation level.
Suspension Mounting: Suspend float 11 inches below desired activation level as shown in figure.
Tether Mounting: Minimum 12-inch tether length. - Fully insert float switch connector until it clicks. Slide the rubber boot to seat against manifold flange.
NOTE: Record which float switches are connected to R(red), B(blue), Y(yellow), and W(white) wire color for easy panel wiring.
WARNING: DO NOT install WITHOUT float switches and/ or sealing plugs installed on ALL connections.
