Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Soundcore Select 2S Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Product Overview

The Soundcore Select 2S features a durable design with a soft TPU/silicone-like material covering the top, sides, and back, and a metal grille on the front. It is designed for portability and resilience.

Controls and Indicators

The top panel of the speaker includes intuitive buttons for control:

• Power Button: Turns the speaker on or off.
• Bluetooth Button: Initiates Bluetooth pairing mode.
• BassUp Button: Activates or deactivates BassUp technology for enhanced bass.
• Volume Down (-): Decreases the volume.
• Play/Pause Button: Plays or pauses audio playback.
• Volume Up (+): Increases the volume.

LED indicators show power status, Bluetooth connection, BassUp status, and battery level.

Ports

A silicone flap on the side protects the USB-C charging port, ensuring the speaker's IPX7 waterproof rating is maintained when sealed.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided USB-C to C cable. Connect one end of the cable to the speaker's USB-C port (located under the silicone flap) and the other end to a compatible USB wall charger (not included).

Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button until the power indicator lights up.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the power indicator turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the Soundcore Select 2S speaker. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Soundcore Select 2S" from the list of available devices.
3. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will turn solid blue.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

For an enhanced stereo sound experience, you can pair two Soundcore Select 2S speakers together.

1. Ensure both Soundcore Select 2S speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator flashes white.
3. On the second speaker (this will be the secondary speaker), press the Bluetooth button once.
4. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator on the primary speaker will flash blue, and the secondary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will turn solid white.
5. Connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the Bluetooth Pairing section.

Operating the Speaker

Basic Controls

• Volume Adjustment: Press the '+' button to increase volume, '-' button to decrease volume.
• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once to play or pause music.
• Skip Track: Double-press the Play/Pause button to skip to the next track.
• Previous Track: Triple-press the Play/Pause button to go to the previous track.
• BassUp: Press the BassUp button to toggle BassUp mode on or off. This enhances the bass output.

Soundcore App

Download the Soundcore app from your device's app store to unlock additional features and customization options for your Select 2S speaker.

• Firmware Updates: Keep your speaker's software up-to-date for optimal performance and new features.
• Equalizer (EQ) Presets: Choose from various preset sound profiles or create custom EQ settings to tailor the audio to your preference.

Maintenance

Waterproofing (IPX7)

The Soundcore Select 2S is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. To maintain its waterproof integrity, ensure the silicone flap covering the charging port is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

Cleaning

To clean the speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components. Ensure the speaker is completely dry before charging.

Troubleshooting

• Cannot Power On: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
• Cannot Pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED). Check your device's Bluetooth settings and ensure it's discoverable. Try restarting both the speaker and your device.
• No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired.
• Poor Sound Quality: Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference. Try adjusting the EQ settings in the Soundcore app.
• TWS Pairing Issues: Ensure both speakers are Soundcore Select 2S models and are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
