SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using any electrical appliance, always read the basic safety precautions carefully.

  • Before using this product, verify that the voltage rating corresponds to that shown on the appliance identification label.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
  • The appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

  • Do not clean this product with cleaners, steel wool pads or other abrasive material.
  • Be careful not to get burned by steam during brewing cycles.
  • Some parts of the appliance are hot when in use, do not touch them with your hand. Wear gloves or wait for them to cool.
  • This device should not be submerged in any liquid.
  • The appliance should not be placed or stored in an environment lower than 4°C to avoid it not working properly, this could cause the internal water pipe of the appliance to freeze.
  • This appliance is intended for use in domestic or similar rooms, such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments, farmhouses, by customers in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, Indoors for private homes and domestic environments, places with an altitude not exceeding 2000 m
  • Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move during use.

    CAUTION: To avoid a hazard due to unintentional reset of the thermal cutout, this appliance should not be powered by an  external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that may be turned on and off regularly.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before starting to use the coffee maker, check that all accessories are complete and that the unit is not damaged. Check all parts and understand their functions. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future use. Then follow the operations as shown below:

  1. Before using the coffee maker for the first time, remove the water tank from the coffee maker and rinse it with clean water.
  2. Check and make sure that all removable parts are properly installed in their correct position.
  3. Remove the sealing plug at the bottom of the water tank.
  4. Fill the water tank to the maximum mark, then reassemble it properly into the appliance and close the water tank cover.
  5. Remove the cover from the top of the coffee maker where the bean container and grind adjustment knob holder are located. Select the grind setting you want by turning the knob clockwise.
    NOTE: When using the coffee machine for the first time, it is suggested that you select agrind setting higher than setting 8. Adjustable grind settings range from 1 (finest) to 15 (coarsest), the number on the grind adjustment knob pointed by the arrow is the actual selected grind setting.
  6. Installation and removal of steam wand:
    • Align the steam hose with the hose connector and then push it upwards.
    • Turn the steam tube counterclockwise to fix it in its correct position.
    • Align the stainless steel tube with the steam tube, push upwards to fix it securely in position.
    • If you wish to remove the steam wand, carry out the above operations in reverse to separate the tube and the wand.
  7. Adjust the height of the coffee spout by raising or lowering the front coupling of the coffee spout. The adjustable height ranges from 85mm to 115mm.
  8. Adjust the angle of the steam wand. The steam wand angle adjustment ranges from 0° to 42°.
  9. Processing unit:
    • Open the cover on the side of the coffee maker and check that the processing unit is properly installed in its correct position.
    • Check that the arrow displayed on the coffee maker aligns with the arrow on the unit.
    • You will hear a click, this will indicate that the assembly is correct.
    • The warning indicator It will light steadily if the unit is not installed correctly.
    • Once installed, replace the side cover of the coffee maker. If the lid is not closed correctly the warning icon will flash.
  10. Placement of the waste storage tank.
    • Open the side door of the coffee maker and check if the waste storage tank is installed in place.
    • If the inner tank is not installed correctly in its position, the warning indicator will flash and the machine will not be able to operate.
  11. Place the drip plate on the drip tray of the coffee maker. The drip plate must be installed in its correct position so that a cup of coffee can be placed on it. Then insert the drip tray into the front of the coffee maker.
    NOTE: The drip tray collects water from the dispensing spout during each rinse and self-cleaning, as well as any coffee that might spill during brewing. Clean and empty the drip tray every day.
  12. Fill the bean container with the appropriate amount of fresh coffee beans, maximum 200g, then close the bean container lid.
    CAUTION: If the grinding blade is removed, make sure the blade has been installed in its correct position before filling the bean box, if not installed correctly the coffee grinding will not work.

After completing these steps, you will have your coffee maker ready to start using.

HOW TO USE

This coffee maker has the functions of: single cup espresso, double cup espresso, American coffee, hot water, steam, manual cleaning and bean emptying.

IMPORTANT: This appliance automatically performs cleaning each time it is turned on to prepare for operation.

NOTE: Coffee will come out drop by drop at the beginning (2-3 seconds after brewing starts) and at the end (6-8 seconds before brewing is completed) during the brewing process, this is normal.

POWER ON AND PREHEATING 

  1. Plug the device into the power outlet and press the power button on the back of the machine.
  2. All indicator lights on the screen will flash for 1 second and then turn off when the self test is completed, then the device will enter sleep status.
    NOTE: Whenever you are going to use the coffee maker, remember to place a container on top of the drip tray, below the coffee spout.
  3. Tap the screen in sleep state, power button Control Panel flashes for 10 seconds. Press the power button Control Panelfor 3 seconds and the appliance will enter the preheating state.
    NOTE: Please refer to the “TROUBLESHOOTING” section to operate if a warning occurs.
  4. The self-cleaning indicator Control Panel will light steadily and the power indicator will flash, then the appliance will enter the preheating stage and start automatic cleaning.
  5. Once the preheating of the coffee maker is completed, the single cup espresso, double cup espresso, American coffee, hot water, steam, manual cleaning and bean emptying indicators will light steadily and the coffee maker will enter the standby state to start. to prepare your coffee.

Control Panel SINGLE CUP ESPRESSO

  1. Place a coffee container under the coffee spout.
  2. Press the single cup espresso button Control Paneland the device will begin to prepare the espresso coffee. The indicator light will illuminate during the process of brewing a single cup of espresso.
  3. After finishing making espresso, the appliance will automatically enter standby mode.
  4. During coffee extraction you can press the single cup espresso button Control Panel again and the machine will stop extracting coffee.

Control Panel DOUBLE CUP ESPRESSO

  1. Place a coffee container under the coffee spout.
  2. Press the double cup espresso button Control Panel and the device will begin to prepare a double cup of espresso. The indicator light will illuminate during the coffee brewing process.
    NOTE: Double-cup espresso is achieved by brewing two cycles of single-cup espresso continuously, do not remove the coffee container during the brewing process.
  3. After finishing making a two-cup espresso, the appliance will automatically enter standby mode.
  4. During coffee extraction you can press the double cup espresso button Control Panelagain and the machine will stop extracting coffee.

Control Panel AMERICAN COFFEE

  1. Place a coffee container under the coffee spout.
  2. Press the American coffee button Control Panel and the device will begin to prepare coffee. The American coffee indicator will illuminate during the coffee brewing process.
  3. After finishing making American coffee, the appliance will enter standby mode automatically.
  4. During coffee extraction you can press the American coffee buttonControl Paneland the machine will stop extracting coffee.

Control Panel WATER TANK FILLING WARNING

  • During the process of preparing any type of coffee, when the water tank needs to be refilled, the hot water iconControl Panel will flash and the low water indicator Control Panelwill light steadily.
  • Fill the tank with water without exceeding the maximum measurement. Then press the hot water iconControl Panel to release pressure before brewing coffee again.
    Note: When releasing pressure, a container should be placed under the steam wand to collect the steam dispensed from the wand and prevent burns. After the pressure is released, continue brewing coffee.
  • If you need to make coffee immediately after completing the steam function, you need to reduce the temperature of the boiler, at which time, hot water and steam will be drained into the waste storage tray. After reducing the boiler temperature you can prepare coffee.

Control Panel HOT WATER

  1. Place a container of water under the steam outlet. The capacity of the container must be greater than 120 ml.
  2. Hot water button pressedControl Panel and the device will begin to expel hot water through the vaporizer arm. After completing this function, the device will enter standby mode automatically.
  3. During this process, if you want to stop the function, press the hot water button again.Control Panel and it will stop coming out.

NOTE:

  • During the process of preparing hot water, do not touch the container with your hands. There will still be hot steam coming out of the steamer, do not perform the hot water function immediately to avoid burns.
  • If you need to make coffee immediately after completing the steam function, it is necessary to reduce the temperature of the boiler, at which time, hot water and steam will be drained into the waste collection container. After reducing the temperature of the boiler you can prepare coffee.

Control Panel MILK FROTHER / FROTHING

Steam can only be produced when the appliance is preheated to a certain temperature in steam mode. The steam indicator light will illuminate when steam is dispensed.

  1. Prepare the milk frothing jug and fill it with the appropriate amount of cold milk.
  2. Allow the steam to continue dispensing for a few seconds to remove any contained steam.
  3. Adjust the angle of the frother so that it can be inserted into the milk frothing jug.
  4. Press the steam buttonControl Panel to activate the steam function and froth the milk.
  5. During the milk frothing process, press the steam button againControl Panel and the steam function will turn off.
  6. After finishing frothing, the appliance will automatically enter standby mode.

NOTE:

  • It is recommended that the milk temperature be between 5 and 10°C and the protein content of the milk reaches at least 3%.
  • The milk added to the frothing jug cannot exceed the maximum mark.
  • The steam wand should be cleaned after each use.
    1. Remove the stainless steel tube, place it under the faucet and rinse it with water.
    2. Remove the steam wand and rinse it with water.
    3. After cleaning, reinstall it in its correct position.

Control Panel SELF-CLEANING

  1. Place a container of water under the coffee spout.
  2. Press self-cleaning button Control Paneland the device will begin to perform the automatic cleaning function.
  3. Once cleaning is completed, the device will automatically enter standby mode.
  4. If during the cleaning process you want to cancel the function, press the button again Control Paneland the process will be cancelled.
  5. If during the cleaning process, the water tank needs to be refilled, the hot water icon Control Panelwill flash and the low water indicatorControl Panel will light steadily. Fill the tank and tap the hot water icon to release pressure. When releasing pressure, a container should be placed under the steam wand to collect the steam dispensed by the wand and prevent burns.
  6. After releasing the pressure, tap the self-cleaning iconControl Panel to continue cleaning.

Control PanelEMPTYING COFFEE BEANS

  1. This function is used to empty the coffee beans from the container. Use carefully to avoid damage.
  2. Press the grain emptying button Control Paneland the device will begin to perform the emptying function. At this time, the indicator light will illuminate steadily while the rest of the indicators will turn off.
  3. Remove the waste storage tray and empty it.
  4. Once grain emptying is completed, the device will automatically enter standby mode.
  5. If you want to cancel the function during operation, press the grain emptying button againControl Panel.
  6. This function lasts 15 seconds each time, repeat the above operation if there are many coffee beans left in the bean container.

POWER SAVING MODE

  • Press and hold the power button Control Panelfor at least 8 seconds in standby mode. The appliance will perform self-test, preheating and self-cleaning, and then enter standby mode.
  • In standby mode, press the power button Control Panelthe corresponding indicator will flash for 10 seconds, and then the device will enter standby mode. At this time, all indicators will turn off and all functions will be invalidated.
  • The device will enter standby mode if no operation is performed for 28 minutes. At this time, all indicators will turn off and all functions will be invalidated.

ADJUSTING THE AMOUNT OF COFFEE

  • After the machine starts dispensing coffee, press and hold the button of the type of coffee you want, the machine will beep and the corresponding indicator of the selected coffee type will flash, at this time, the machine enters the mode to set the coffee. coffee dispensing amount.
  • When the coffee in the cup reaches the required level, release the selected mode button, the machine will stop working and the newly set coffee dispensing amount will be saved.

  • Single Cup Espresso: 30-100ml
  • Double cup espresso: 30-100ml x2
  • American coffee: 110-180 ml

FACTORY RESET

Press and hold the single cup espresso buttonControl Paneland the double cup espressoControl Panelfor 2 seconds at the same time, then all parameters are recovered to factory default settings.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug this appliance from the power outlet before cleaning and allow it to cool completely.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or unit in water or liquid. Unplug the appliance after each use.
    1. Wipe the exterior surface of the product with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains, but avoid using abrasive cleaning tools as they will scratch the product. Do not use alcohol or cleaning solvents.
    2. Water droplets may accumulate in the area on the drip plate or countertop during brewing. To control dripping, wipe the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the product.
    3. Removable accessories should not be cleaned in the dishwasher. Always clean them with water and neutral soap. Make sure they are completely dry before putting them back in their proper place.

Waste storage tray 

When to clean:

  • Single Cup Espresso: Perform once every 8 brew cycles.
  • Double Cup Espresso: Perform once every 4 brew cycles.
  • It is recommended to clean it on the same day if it is not used for a long time.

How to clean:

  1. Open the side door of the machine.
  2. Remove the waste storage tray.
  3. Empty the coffee puck into the waste collection container.
  4. Rinse the waste storage tray with water and then dry it.
  5. Reinstall the waste storage tray in its corresponding location.
  6. Place the side cover on the machine and cleaning is complete.

Processing unit

When to clean:

  • Single Cup Espresso: Perform once every 8 brew cycles.
  • Double Cup Espresso: Perform once every 4 brew cycles.
  • It is recommended to clean it on the same day if it is not used for a long time.

How to clean:

Steam Pipe/Stainless Steel Pipe

When to clean:

  • Clean after each use.

How to clean:

  1. Pull the stainless steel tube down to remove it.
  2. Turn the steam wand 90° clockwise and then down to remove it.
  3. Rinse them with water and then dry.
  4. Follow the above operation in reverse to reassemble the steam pipe/stainless steel tube.

Drip tray

When to clean:

  • It is recommended to empty the drip tray every day and clean it once a week.

How to clean:

  1. Remove the coffee maker drip tray and top rack.
  2. Clean it with water and a neutral soap.

Coffee grinder

When to clean:

  • It is recommended to clean the grinder once a week.

How to clean:

  1. Turn the grind selector counterclockwise.
  2. Remove the internal grinding wheel counterclockwise. Clean it with the cleaning brush and empty the ground coffee into the gap.
  3. Clean the grinding chamber with the cleaning brush.
  4. Install the grinding wheel and return the grind selector to its correct position. Then turn the grind selector.
  5. Let the grinder continue running to remove any remaining powder in the grinding chamber (repeat the above operation if coffee powder remains).
  6. Turn the grind adjustment knob counterclockwise.
  7. Install the grinding wheel clockwise.
  8. Install the grinding wheel adjustment button clockwise.

Crafting system support

When to clean:

  • It is recommended to check the brewing system once a week.

How to clean:

  1. When the appliance is turned on, press the manual cleaning and double cup espresso button for 1 second. The coffee maker will go into cleaning mode.
  2. Open the cover (the appliance will remain in safety protection state) you can clean the dust inside.
  3. Once cleaning is complete, close the door.
  4. Press and hold the manual clean button and the double cup espresso button for 1 second to exit the cleaning function.

Milling dispenser

When to clean:

  • It is recommended to check the milling dispenser once a week.How to clean:

Method 1.

  1. Press and hold the beans and espresso buttons into a cup for 2 seconds at the same time, their corresponding indicators will flash.
  2. Open the door and loosen the ground coffee in the brewing channel with a cleaning brush, and then close the door when the ground coffee has fallen out.
  3. Press and hold the bean dump button and the espresso one cup button at the same time for at least one second, then their corresponding indicators will turn off and the door will close.

Method 2.

  • If there are few coffee beans left in the bean box, press and hold the bean emptying button for at least one second to keep the appliance running until the ground coffee blocked in the power supply channel is emptied, and then the appliance returns to normal operating status.

NOTE: If the ground coffee becomes obviously finer during use, or the coffee disc becomes smaller after finishing brewing, please check the powder dispensing channel for any powder blockage. Remember to clean the milling dispenser once a week.

Decalcify

When to clean:

  • The appliance should be descaled when the Americano and Double Espresso indicators flash at the same time.
  • This notice appears when the machine has completed 500 coffee cycles.

How to clean:

  1. Fill the water tank with water and softener to the maximum level indicated on the water tank (the scale of water and softener is 4:1, details refer to the instructions for the softener. Please use “household descaler”), you can also use citric acid instead of descaler (one hundred parts water and three parts citric acid).
  2. Place a container on the drip plate.
  3. Press and hold the Americano and Double Espresso buttons for one second at the same time, and the appliance will enter the descaling procedure.
  4. The descaling process takes about 10 minutes. The six indicator lights will flash slowly from left to right.
  5. Once descaling is completed, the hot water and manual cleaning indicators will stop flashing.
  6. The number of coffee brewing cycles will be reset to zero and counted again after descaling is complete. The descaling warning will occur again when the appliance has brewed 500 accumulated coffee cycles.

TIPS

  • A clean coffee maker is essential for making tasty coffee. It is necessary to clean the coffee maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section regularly.
  • Always use fresh, room temperature water when brewing coffee.
  • Store unused coffee grounds in a cool, dry place. After unpacking a new bag of ground coffee, reseal it and store it in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.

The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions according to the laws.
