Product Usage Instructions
Antique Brass Finish:
Antique brass is a ‘living’ finish, which means that it’ll react to its environment. The oil from your hands, the moisture in the room, even the air around it will cause it to darken over time. You can use our restoration kit to restart the ageing process and return the finish to its original look.
- If possible, remove the product from its fitted location.
- Lightly rub the brass polish onto the metal surface in small circles until the paste turns dark.
- Gently wipe off the paste and buff until clean.
- Use the abrasive pad to mattify the surface.
- Apply the wax to the brass using a clean cloth, and buff until evenly covered.
Bronze & Polished Nickel Finish:
You shouldn’t use metal polish (or anything else for that matter) on bronze or polished nickel. All you need is a damp (but not wet) lint-free cloth to buff away dust and fingerprints. Our restoration kit must only be used to clean antique brass products
- If possible, remove the product from its fitted location.
- Gently wipe it clean using a damp lint-free cloth.
