AutoSense Standalone Installation:

  1. Attach the 2 cellular paddle antennas and the single rubber
    reader antenna.
  2. Mount the unit on a wall at least 6 ft. up and in front of dock
    doors using mounting screws or cable ties.
  3. Plug the power supply into a non-switched power outlet.
  4. Take a picture of the installed AutoSense Standalone and send
    it to CargoSupport@Copeland.com for verification.

Cellular Connectivity:

  1. Angle antennas away from the wall for optimal performance.
  2. Verify the LED indicators next to the ethernet port for correct
    status:
    • Left LED – Solid GREEN (system operational)
    • Middle LED – Solid GREEN (connection to cellular carrier)
    • Right LED – GREEN or AMBER (cellular strength indicator)

System Verification:

To verify system functionality:

  1. Stand at the farthest receiving area from the AutoSense
    Standalone.
  2. Use the Test Logger and press the gold power button until the
    LED flashes GREEN.
  3. The LED will flash AMBER when the test logger has been read,
    indicating proper operation.
  4. No further action is required if the test is successful.

Cellular Connectivity

of the ethernet port are lit correctly a. Left LED is a solid GREEN indicating system
is operational b. Middle LED is solid GREEN indicating
connection to cellular carrier c. Right LED is GREEN or AMBER indicating
cellular strength

Green Light
System Verification
Stand at the farthest receiving area/dock door from the AutoSense Standalone. With the Test Logger, press and hold the gold power button in the right-hand corner of the board until the LED starts flashing GREEN. LED will flash AMBER when the test logger has been read.
Test will verify that the system is working properly. No further action is required.
